| ***** Karo is pushing a cart full of food slowly in the hallways. The pleasant aromas, which would make anyone hungry, fill the hallway. She smiles cheerfully at all the guards she pass by. Sorry, but these aren't for you. She finally reaches a great big door with large attractive-looking designs all over it, and stops before it to take a deep breath, before opening the door. It creaks very softly as it opens. Light from the hallway starts to pour into the dark room. "Aww, I even opened the curtains earlier too. Why did you have to go and close them?" she yells, with a hint of playfulness, into the room, as she walks in to open the curtains again. Suddenly, the whole room is saturated in light, blindingly bright compared to before. A faint grumbling sound can be heard. Karo goes back to wheel the cart of rather extravagant breakfast into the room, and closes the door after her. She places the cart next to a small table with two seats around it, then walks over to sit on the edge of the bed. "Princess, it's time to wake up now," she calls out cheerfully at the mound of blankets before her. "Mmmm. Let me sleep," it replies. Karo pulls the blankets away and pushes at Shia's shoulder. "Eat up, while it's still warm. I made all this breakfast for you. You were filling out paperwork all night, weren't you, Princess?" "You disappeared on me in the middle of the night," Shia says, half yawning, as she sits up reluctantly, still looking more asleep than awake. Karo leans in close and gives Shia a warm hug. "Cute," Karo whispers into Shia's ear. "I got up to make breakfast. It was clearly morning by that time." "Let me eat it in bed," Shia says, groggily. "Yes, Princess," replies Karo, satisfied with the compromise. Karo gets up and wheels the cart over, and readies the bed tray, which she had brought in anticipation of this exact situation. She hums a pleasant tune, while she sets up the tray and snuggles into the bed with Shia. The two enjoy breakfast in bed. |
