| Yet another MAJOR /facepalm. Why can't people simply add this to their list and wait until they've seen it to rate it? I find this so hilarious I feel like giving it a 1 for the lulz. I mean, it wouldn't be any worse than giving it a 10 as many people have done already before it's even aired. |

| Scores on unaired things are reset periodically anyway (iirc) so even if people score them it doesn't really matter. The scoring system on MAL is rather subject to manipulation, though. It's rather unfortunate since many people do use the top lists to find new series, or look at what it's rated on a series page. |

Especially since all it would take really is a small, insignificant change in the MAL codebase to not allow a series to be rated until it's status changed to either "airing" or "finished". The programmer in me just finds it amusing that the logic is so loopy. |
