Honestly, this show advanced leaps and bounds up my anticipation list all week and it's now settled on the top after the first episode.

The horror aspect isn't working in its favor yet, but it was intriguing and grabbed me right off the bat. The main character had a pretty comical but reasonable reaction to seeing the girl he accidentally got killed seemingly show up in front of him.

So yeah, anticipating this one highly.

Yeah the main character is actually pretty smart. His face reminds me on Banri somehow... I even had minor feels when he saw she was missing the moles. It was nice she was not totally cold, just sort of socially unaccustomed. Anyway I liked it a lot. The OP gives it sort of foreboding quality, I wonder how far they will take it (like will it get Guilty Crown dark?).

I'm liking it so far especially the opening. It's not often where the opening is instrumental only.

So far, the main character seems pretty smart and able to grasp the situation rather quick.

I liked the MC too. He was genre-savvy enough to justify holding the idiot ball.

"If she's telling the truth, then I'm probably screwed anyway, but I won't put other people in danger by getting on the bus. I'll walk and see if anything happens."

Interesting first episode, will keep following. Fascinating vibe given off by his series, agreed I like the main character so far. I was wondering for about half the episode how they could have possibly thought it was a good idea to shimmy across the pipe along a dam, but I guess he just went along with what she was saying

Yeah agree. I like the nice little wink to bakemonogatari in the beginning.

Oh jeez, todays episode.... I may have to shelve this until the end of the season and just watch it all in a marathon. Lighthearted shows I can watch weekly, but these intense ones are easier for me to go through in one go. May do the same with black bullet. I do like Brynhildr a lot though.

Mother of god, episode 5 was excellent just for that one long scene in the observatory. That was full of such rapid mood swings I couldn't even keep up.

EDIT: Mother of GOD, that ending.
