| Episode 7 Just like that, Pastry's father takes care of the mess and his comrades bring Armire and his henchmen to justice. After that, the wedding between Petra and Squale takes place, with a twist as it turns out that Licorice and Pastry end up getting married as well. Seeing that Pastry was the one who rescued Licorice that she has fallen for him, and while they are quite young to get married, it's all about establishing connections as now the Kaldecek, Hubarek, and Morteln families are all connected to help Pastry realize his dream of a peaceful world where everybody can enjoy his sweets. |

| Episode 8 Pastry and Licorice are now husband and wife, which doesn't bode well for Brioche. She's determined to bring Pastry under her command, so she sends out an invitation for a tea-tasting festival, and in the meantime Pastry now has Strudel's power to dig, which causes quite a big commotion. And then Licorice moves into Pastry's home as she's going to be living there for awhile seeing that there is a lot of bad blood going around. It will be interesting to see how this tea-tasting event goes seeing that it's pretty clear that Brioche is up to something with this and Pastry at least knows that this is a trap he's walking into. |

| Why isn't Pastry allowed to do whatever he wants at this point. He has done more than enough to earn that freedom. Him getting smacked is getting old, fast. It wasn't a great gag in the first place. |
| Episode 9 Pastry has decided to accept the invitation and is making preparations for it knowing that Brioche has some ulterior motive for this. So Pastry makes some candied apples, and those boys were eavesdropping on him. And then it is onto the tea party where Pastry's sweets are quite the hit, and he's negotiating with Brioche to use her fief's port so that he can do his mass-production of sweets. But of course, Brioche has a trap set up seeing that Pastry is just too valuable of a guy. I had a feeling something like this was going to happen. |

| Episode 10 It turns out that what Licorice is upset about has nothing to do with anything that Pastry did as she is just not the confident person her big sister is. But a candied apple was all she needed to feel better. Pastry accomplished what he set out to do, and has taken another step to creating his dream world. And now, Licorice is dealing with another problem as her homeland is at war with their neighbor. Just when it looked like Pastry did everything he could to put an end to war, this happens. |

| Episode 11 It turns out that the main purpose of this war is to assassinate Squale as those Lutoroute bastards used a lot of misdirection to get Squale in a place where it’s easy to ambush him and with his inexperience, it means certain death. Luckily, Casserole figured it out and Pastry arrived just in time to save him. And now, it’s time to turn the tables since Lutoroute is vulnerable with their formation. |
| So they go to war purely for cheesecake and despite thinking there are 30,000 enemies they only send 12 people? Then they send Squale out with like 20 dudes and call it an army. Fortunately for them the enemy also doesn't realize it has 10,000 soldiers and only sends like 50. |
| Exactly. "Why do people go to war?" One minute later. "We're going to war! For goats!" Petra and Licorice have the dumbest hair design. Having those side buns up high makes their heads look giant, like some kind of aliens. The other girls are cute, especially the sister, but Licorice just looks stupid. So the young noble that just went to war for the first time is the only one not wearing any armor. |

| Episode 12 (Finale) Squale made it back alive from his first battle, so this calls for a party with Pastry providing all the sweets. While the battle didn’t go well and he probably would have died had Casserole not figured out the enemy’s intention, it wasn’t a failure as Petra puts it. With that, it ends with Pastry taking the trip to capital. Not much tan ending there as to be expected, but it finds an appropriate place to stop. Final Thoughts This show is another generic isekai show that doesn't do much to move the needle on this genre. The plot is bland, the production values are mediocre, and the story as a whole is needlessly complicated. That said, this show has interesting characters, a nice story environment, and the story writing is pretty solid given what it had to work with. It's one of those shows that makes the best out of a bad situation as there's no doubt the situation is just that. Grade: C- (6/10) |

| Started out okay, but seriously tanked toward the end. OPMC was weird. "I got these crazy OP powers, the intelligence of an adult, but I am going to win the world over with my sweets." Hoohum to mega-meh; Not recommended. |

| The ending theme was pretty good. That's about all the praise I can muster for this show. I'll give it a 5/10, and if there's a sequel, I won't be watching. |
