| He blinked and smiles, laughing. "Hahaha...n-no not like that...I meant for your Apprenticeship. The really don't tell you anthing, do they?" He sighed. "After your first two years of basic training, you take your Placement Exam to be placed as an Apprentice under a Master. Each Master takes two to three Apprentices at once, so that means you'll have partners in your Squad. So, have you seen anyone in the Warrior trainees that you might like as a partner?" |

| His smiled turned warm at himself, and he got a genuine flush to his cheeks. "Eheh...yeah...." |

| Snaps out of his apparent daze and looks down at her. "What do you mean Art?" |

| exam? getting a partner...probably gonna be someone i dont know at all..its just depressing and confusing..*sighs* |

| He smiled and laughed again, giving her back a reassuring pat. "Oh, don't worry. And besides meeting new people is half the fun. I'm sure you'll love whoever it is, and I'm sure you'll get a great Master!" He looked back and gave another bite of his food. "And who knows...mabe we'll see each other out there on missions..." |

| [srr looks like I gotta go. exam will be when I get back. seea] A sudden beep came from Noa's pocket. He reached in and picked out a phone, flipping it open. "Hello? Oh, hello Master. Oh, yes right away." He closed it and put it back into his pocket, standing up."Sorry, Art, but it looks like I got a mission. I'll seea later, squirt." He joked, ruffling her hair up before he turned and left, his white coat floating behind him. |

| Master Ritrus stood there, tapping his foot. It was 6:01. She was late. He was currently standing on the giant grass feild of the Training Grounds, waiting for his appointment to get there for an exam. |

| *walks to him and kneels down* im sorry master.. |

| Ritrus simply sighed and clicked his pen open, picking up a clipboard. "It's fine Ms.......Frost" he said checking her name on the paper. "Now, let's just get this started." He pointed 50 yards down the feild. "See that target? I want you to hit it with a Flare spell." |

| Ritrus narrows his eyes. "The one where you shoot fire..." Marks something on his clipboard. |

| *conjures up a fireball on the tip of her finger and shoots* *looks at him* is-is that it?? |

| Marks something down again. "If that's the best you can do, then yes..." Clears his throat. "Now, a Freeze spell." |

| *is panicking* *taps her finger and freezes the target* |

| "Hmm..." Writes another thing. Pauses for a moment. "One last thing...Use a Heal spell on me." |
|
| okay master but u need sho show me your wound please... |

| Raises an eyebrow and writes another thing down. "You don't need a wound to Heal, Ms. Frost...just cast it on me." |

| i umm ah...okay...*concentrates her energy and casts a glowing green light at him* |

| Gives a nod and writes another thing down. After a few moments, he sighed and set the clipboard down on a table next to him. "Alright, I'm gonna tell it to you straight, Ms. Frost. You failed. Horribly. But luckily, I'm gonna let you retake this in a few days. Though he's a Warrior, I'm assigning Noa to tutor you. He's on a mission right now, but as soon as he gets back, you start studying with him, alright?" |

| *tries not to cry* *looks down ashamed* *wonders if she really was lucky to be picked up by these people during the raid* |

| Master Ritrus's eeys softened a bit. He sighed and put a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Don't feel bad, Artemis. No one passes on their first try. Sure this was...basic stuff, but still. I'm not even gonna put this on record." |
