| This bothered her more than she wanted to admit. Her brow furrowed, and she closed her eyes, taking a deep breath. Unavoidable, then. Whatever was coming, it couldn't be stopped. They would have no other choice but to face it. |

She couldn't feel the same sense of dread he had; if she could, she might have a better understanding of the scope of what was to come. |

| This startled her into looking up at him. How exactly did he mean? She didn't want to use demonstrations; she wanted to keep her energy levels at full, just in case. But an explanation would take too long. Maybe if she just kept to the basics... "I still have not learned everything about the latter, but I know that my vision has improved. I know how to search an area with my mind, and determine who or what is nearby, although my search area is still relatively small. I do not yet know how to bestow a blessing, but I know that I am capable of it, should someone invoke my name." |

| Her head tilted slightly to the side. "I can hear you, but I cannot see you." The sensation was strange; she could hear the direction his voice was coming from, and the words were as clear as if he was standing right next to her. But no matter how far she extended her senses, he was nowhere to be found. |

| Her brow furrowed, and she extended her mind out to the very edge of her vision. Slowly, painstakingly, she pushed it further, inch by inch. His image began to form in her mind, first as nothing more than a shadow, then a fuzzy figure, but then details began to form. At last, he still in her mind's eye, as clear as if he had been right in front of her. "All right; I can see you." |

| She immediately turned in the direction of his voice. This would be a bit more difficult. She would have preferred to expand her vision in a circle around her, but she knew that would restrict how far she could see. It would be better to send it out in a line, straight for him. That would keep most of her energy intact, and allow her to send it out further, should the need arise. Slowly, she began to extend her mind, trying to pinpoint his location. |

| When he senses that she is viewing him again, he quickly teleports, timing her this time after he says her name. He needed to get her to be able to do this at the drop of a hat and focus on his area almost without thinking |

| Although she knew that she could easily trace his location using the link between them, she wouldn't always have that luxury with others. This was the best way to learn how to track her enemies. It was a bit easier for her to find him this time, as she became accustomed to sending out her energy. |

| The new voice startled her, but only for a moment. She immediately sent out a tendril of thought, letting it race across the land until she had located her target. Each time got easier, and she noticed that the time it took to find them was growing shorter. |

| the next time he tries it, he takes three different wolves to three different locations, and has them say her name at the same time, to see if she could concentrate on three different locations at once |

| This was a bit harder for her to do. It took her only a moment to find the first, but she had to concentrate to remember where she had heard the second and third. After a couple of false starts, she finally pinpointed their locations. |

| The next thing she knows, Philp comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her. "you've done very well, my dear" he says. He had to think of what she needed to learn next though. He never really taught anyone how to be a god, and everything he knew, he learned on his own |

| This made a smile come to her face. "I tried my best," she told him with a shrug, though inwardly, she was glowing at his praise. There was still a lot of work for her to do if she wanted to be fast at locating multiple targets, but she was pleased with her progress so far. |

| She followed him, tilting her head slightly to the side. "I take it this is something I could not do before with my magic." Before, she had only been able to transform what was already in existence. No...that wasn't quite right. She could create fire out of thin air. Was this somehow different, then? |

He breathes on it, and the small rabbit that he had created comes to life, and he sets it sown for it to run off into the shrubbery |

| This made a smile come to her face as she watched the rabbit run off. Why had it not occurred to her that she could now create life itself? Magic alone could never do that, but with her new powers... "And what I create will be exactly like the original? That rabbit...it would be indistinguishable from others?" |

| She nodded, closing her eyes. Holding up her hands, she envisioned a soft white ball of silk. Carefully, she began to weave it into rows, until the scarf he had asked for started to take shape and fold itself neatly into her arms. |

| Philip takes the scarf out of her hands and inspects it very closely. He stops at a spot, the only one he found, and says "See this small imperfection, my dear? When creating things, especially living beings, you need to be very precise. if you give it a small flaw like this, chances are it will not be able to integrate into its society. Please, try it again" |

| Taking the scarf back from him, she examined the place he had pointed out. Instead of being discouraged, she was actually quite pleased with what she had done. Truthfully, she had expected it to turn out much worse than it had. To have only one flaw was a good job, in her eyes. Once more, she concentrated, watching every strand of silk as it was fed into a new garment. She went slower this time, making sure each thread flowed seamlessly into the next. When she came to the end, she looked up at him, offering the new scarf almost shyly. |

| She frowned at this. "But...I have never seen one up close. I would not know all of the parts needed to make it complete." She was pretty sure that she could make all of it; at least the external parts. But the mechanisms beneath to make it work properly... |

| "I do not think I could make one by hand, but with magic, it should be easy enough. Steel, I assume?" She had seen swords made out of other materials, but they were only for decoration. Although they were undoubtedly beautiful, she would rather have one that she could actually use. |
