I need it sliced and i also need some advice on how to stop making the whole sig flash when the GIF has finished a loop. Ack! Well, here it is:  |

Hmm how odd.... well, eggman is right that those layers have visibility off in those frames. When you have the animation palette open in photoshop (that big timeline), the layers palette will show some extra buttons on top. Select all the layers that you don't want to change between frames (probably all but the left animation ones) and then click the one that says "Unify Visibility"... and probably all the rest also. You'll get a warning, hit okay. Then play back the animation to make sure all is well. edit: dunno how to do it in gimp.... sorry. If that seems too confusing, you can just keep the animation as a separate slice from the rest of it.... though it kinda defeats the purpose of bringing it into your image prog in the first place...just save all the other slices with an image type that doesn't support animation (like png or jpg) and they'll just be frozen at the first frame. |

So this is how it comes out when it's all sliced up and fixed. It will work, but the top, middle and bottom parts of the animation will be out of sync the first time your signature is loaded. Once someone gets it the first time though, it'll be in their browser cache and be *almost* normal. I dunno.. it's an interesting effect, anyway. ;)     |

| you can't really use an animation that doesn't fit completely within one of the slices.... for this reason. I've used an animation that was the full height of the signature before, but I could only get away with it because the mal list part was the full height of the signature as well... So unless you want to change it radically, you're kinda out of luck. Alternatively you can look into making it a php signature, so the right half can be generated as one image instead. You would export the left gif on its own, and then have the php part on the right generating the other image. The mariaholic sig Ripaz made is a good example. |
