| Masaru entered the cafe wearing his usual long black coat that concealed his pistol as well as with some files in his hands. He sat at a booth by himself and started looking over the files of some cases after he ordered a coffee. Ugh, the sun still annoys me. Not enough to keep me from going anywhere, but it still annoys me. He thought. Once a waitress brought his coffee he took a sip as he continued looking over the files. |

| "Can I help you with something?" Masaru asked him in an emotionless tone, looking up to him with cold eyes filled with killer intent. |

| Torunn walked in the cafe and started looking around. "Where's that bodyguard?" She asked Trent. |

| Ember Got her tea and then looked at Trent and the other guy she tilted her head a little "who's that?" she asked him |

| "I'm a detective." Masaru told him coldly. "And do people need to be prosecuted for walking into a cafe?" |

| "For the law, obviously." Masaru responded. "If you want to accuse me of something spit it out, otherwise leave me alone." |

| "That depends, if you are asking me which race I am, I am a vampire. If you are asking which side I am on, neither." Masaru responded with a blank tone. |

| "That's a stupid excuse." Masaru said coldly. "Now is there else you need? If not, go." |

| Masaru then continued looking at the files and sipped his coffee. |

| Masaru took another sip of his coffee as he looked over his files, every one and a while glancing over to the others. So those are what would be classified as 'purebloods'... huh? The air around them is a bit different compared to the bakas I've tracked down. He thought. |

| Masaru noticed Trent looking at him. Hopefully they can probably tell I'm a 'half-blood' and don't want anything to do with me. He thought as he took another sip of his coffee. |

| Aki walked back to the cafe never really going to the abaondond warehouse in the first place and walked back inside. She looks around for Trent so she can talk to him and get to know him better. When she finds him she decides not to try and intervine with his conversation and walked over to a booth and sits down. She has a sad expression on her face and anger on the inside. |
