| "H.. hehe," Ridley snickered before passing out. |

| Finally, he arrived safely at this location. He entered the club, the bouncer already knew him so he went in without being stopped, and since Nick was with him, Nick had permission to enter as well. "Alright, get some clothes upstairs, I guess." |
| As soon as Nick entered the door, a lot of eyes were on him. Not because of his partner but because he himself was naked save for a jacket acting as a loincloth. He nodded to his superior and rushed to the stairs, ignoring the snickers, hoots, and wolf calls that came his way. |

| "I'll wait at the bar." Zarkly let out a laugh, seeing how many people gave Nick a look. It was quite funny. He went to the bar, getting the usual. He didn't even bother saying anything, the bartender already slid a glass of water for him to drink. "Thanks." He said as he sat there, watching the others have fun while taking a small sip of his water. |
| Running up the stairs his mind preoccupied with embarrassment he had no idea hoe many flights of stairs he went up but eventually ended up at a room. Opening the door he held his gasp as he had run into the room of the sleeping alpha of the Fenris. He slowly backed out of the room. |

| Zarkly did nothing, but wait patiently for his subordinate to come back. All he did was just drink his water as if it was his liquor, though, he never really got into drinking liquor or anything. "Hm, I wonder what's keeping him up." He said quietly to himself. |
| Nickle stumbled down the stairs, until he came to another door that was much more familiar to him. He backed away from that door too up the stairs. He cautiously checked serveral other doors before coming upon a maintnence closet. Inside was a spare white shirt and sport shorts. He quickly put the shirt on and the shorts too before who ever they belonged to decided to return. Turing the jacket around on his waist, he went back downstairs. |

| Zarkly was drinking water while a couple of girls went up to him to check him out. He wanted to do more things, but he had plans with his subordinate. "Ah, when is he coming." He said, being more patient since he was toldl that patient was a virtue, an old saying that he heard. "Hmm.." |
| Nickle jumped down the last few steps and easily landing on his feet at the base, his arms raised as though he were a gymnast who executed a superb dismount. He grinned as he was told to "Quit playing you goofball." |

| After hearing some one say 'Quit playing you goofball.'. He knew that it was Nick who finally came down. He waited for him to come to the bar, he already had a glass of water ready for him. He wasn't sure of what to do with Nick, but he wanted to get him better as a werewolf and at least move up a rank. |
| Moving to the bar he sat next to Zarkly and eyed the water with more disapointment than disdain. "More water?" |

| Zarkly had a laugh while nodding his head. "Yes, more water. It's good for you, dude." He patted the back of his subordinate while he asked more water to chug on. "Anyway, you did great today, I suppose. You killed the huntress like I told you too. Next time, you'll be killing another one, but without transforming. How does that sound?" He said with a loud cheerful voice. |
| "I don't think I'm strong enough physically... he looked at the water as though he were staring it down then began to sip at it. "I mean in these human forms were only as strong as humans..." He did not want to be reminded as the picture ran through his head again. |

| "Well, we're stronger than a normal human, you could do many things, you just need to get it out of you." He let out a sigh, drinking another glass of water and finishing it in one chug. "At least have the guts to kill someone in your human form, use a weapon, such as a gun which is the most common weapon these days." |
| "Mmm..maybe a knife.. guns are so traceable these days.." |

| "Yeah, you're right. A knife is good enough, but you don't need once you learn how to do this." He brought up his hand in front of Nick. His fingers waving at him, making sure that he was watching. In a matter of seconds, his finger nails stretched and grew longer. Not only longer, but also sharper. "I just use this to cut their throat open." He licked his finger while having a sadistic look on his face. |
| "Whoa, you mean like a controlled partial transformation!" Nickle stared at his hand. |
|
| "Mh'hm, yeah." Zarkly said as he gave a nod. The long sharp nails soon went back to normal since he had nothing else to do with it. "Anyway, you could try to learn that, but it will take time. I'm the only one who could do it at the moment, I believe." |
| " I know I can't, I cant even get my vocal cords to humanize in the transformation..." Nickle went back to sipping the water. |

| Another glass of water slid down as he took it, drinking water once more. It was all he could drink, since he didn't really took a liking in liquor. "Like I said, you have a long way to go, but you'll eventually be strong. You have potential, I guess." He shrugged, finishing his glass of water. |
| "You guess? Way to show confidence, buddy." he chuckled and finished off the glass. |

| Zarkly chuckled along as well, he was done drinking water for now. He had drank a lot, more than what the body shoukd need a day, water was like his liquor. "Anyway, you should be grateful for that man. He saved you, I could have came late. I knew someone was following you, but 'if' the man didn't kill them for you, do you think you could have stand a chance against them?" He asked, wanting to know his opinion. |
| "I had no idea they would be behind that fence... That's pretty suspicious how they just happened to know I would go that way to duck the morning commuters... I don't go to Times Square often." He waved away an offer for another glass of water. |

| "Hmm.." Zarkly thought about the reason why the hunters would tail the Omega. He spoke, " Nick, when the man questioned the girl, she said that they were to pick up the boy they were following and bring back to the church which is you, right? What do you think about that?" He remembered it all since from the top of his head. |
| "Sounds like I must've done something... I don't remember doing things to cross hunters..." he looks to Zarkly now concerned. "You sure they don't know about the funds...? It can't be just me could it?" |

| Zarkly shrugged, trying to remember the things he did. "Hmm, I don't think they know the funds and I don't remember any mistakes that you did, they may be on me as well, but who knows. The Alpha should." He said, feeling a bit down from hearing him say 'Alpha'. |
| Nickel looks down at hearing about the alpha, "We cant keep living like this... leaderless..." he murmurs. |

| Zarkly nodded in agreement. "At least we're safe at the moment." He looked around his surrounding, only to see the sight of people javing fun and dancing. He knew that no one would dare to attack them in such a place. |

| "thought that too until that crazy she-wolf waved a gun at me" |

| "Ah, right." A cnuckle was escaping from as he thought about that time when a gun was pointed at Nick. "I remember, you were shocked til' the end. Ha, it was quite funny, I'm sorry." He took another shot of water, it was his last one for today, he promised himself. |
| "I also remember you sleeping through all of it til she shot at me!" he exasperated. |

| Nickel got up from the stool, "I'm heading to the park, okay?" and he heads out the door. He takes the same route he used to get there, the subway. He swipes his card then stands on the platform. Unknown to him are a pair of eyes following him, distinctly him. [exits] |

| It didn't take Serina long to return to the Den. She used her nose the entire way, making out every single person she came across, testing their race and even gender. She found a lot of the vampires walking around at night pretended not to see her, a lot of the wolves nodded in respect. It was strange, was this what being a Beta was. She could smell the club was different. As she stepped in, she received a cold reception from the bouncers who seemed like they didn't want to let her in... and another scent... shame? Serina glanced around as she walked down the steps, there wasn't much dancing going on. The Bartender seemed to have been roughed up as well, and he was loyal follower of... Serina couldn't smell Ridley. She could smell some of his lingering scent but all objects, areas... it was like they had been bleached. "Look! If it isn't Ridley's bitch!" She heard called from across the floor. Serina's golden eyes reached the man she had been waiting for, the former Beta. She didn't even know his name. She stepped on to the dance floor and saw the bodies of wolves, warrior and stripper alike. "What is this?" She demanded. "Speak Gamma" The wolf's face turned a shade of pink as he hurled insults at her. "I am the Alpha now! That Ridley is gone and you best step into line omega! Or else we'll make you!" She had two words for him. "Make me." It was a sudden and direct attack as two men leapt at her from the sides, suddenly phasing into wolves. Serina walked forward, her gun was drawn. Each got a bullet to the forehead without much preamble on her part. One jumped at her from the front, she smacked him in the face with the silver butt of the gun, causing him to howl in agony and pause as she side stepped the charge and then put a bullet in his head. She was coordinated as she walked, while unbuttoning her dress at the same time. As she killed the last of the five men who had come at her, she had stepped out of her dress flicked it into her hand and wrapped the gun in the silver. She tossed it to the Barkeeper. "Keep them save." He nodded. "Under the laws of Fenris, Alpha you have a challenger." If he tried to have a mob attack her now... he would lose the faith of the pack and it would lead to the same end as if he lost. His fury was on his face, he was almost foaming at the mouth as he ripped away his clothes. "I'm gonna have fun with you, I'll have you licking my wounds and servicing all of the males before I put you down!" She let him talk as she waited for him to step down. Serina didn't care that all could see her nude silver scarred form. She was a wolf, not a female now... and soon she would be there alpha or she would be dead. |
| After arriving at the front entrance of the club, his nose already picked up trouble. The fresh smell of bullets out from the gun, the smell of the dead wolves, it just made him more interested. He glanced over at the Omega who was with him before entering inside the club, the bouncer letting him in as always. "Nickel, careful now." He warned him in advance. Does the Alpha has something to do with this? Zarkly asked himself, but he found no scent of the Alpha; Ridley. "Hmm, that's strange." Once making it at the deep part of the club, he stopped immediately after spotting the transformed wolf which was Serina, he could tell by the smell. The other one that he spotted was the former beta, remembering the smell of the guy from the blood that was wiped on his shoulder. "Heh, what do we have here?" He asked, but mainly to himself. He sat on a stool to watch this match, giving the bartender a sign for water. |
| They snarled and circled each other. Both wolves standing upright, Serina was Silver and smaller than the other in both size and height, the former beta was an earthy brown. He roared loudly as he charged, Serina didn't back down, roaring in kind as she met him head on. The result came out as expected. Serina was smashed back as the weight of the self-proclaimed Alpha was too much for her to handle. He dropped on her, grabbing a hold of her head and slamming it repeatedly against the ground. Serina's body shuddered with each blow, a sickening thud that started to crack the ground. Serina's body suddenly phased back into human form as she slipped out of his bloody hands. She shifted forward, her leg turning to wereform as she viciously kicked his left leg from under him. The false Alpha lost his balance and was unable to stop being toppled as Serina phased her entire body and propelled herself upwards. The actions performed caused the former Beta to land on her back, then she lifted him up and slammed him to the ground, winding the beast. She turned, bring her outside arm around and slashed the eye out of the larger beast. He hold in pain as Serina distanced herself, the back of her head covered in her own blood. The fight had caused many to be silent, seeing a brutal competition of this importance was rare and not even a joke or a snicker was to be heard. |
| The silence in the atmosphere was consuming Zarkly as he witnessed the collision of the two beast in front of him. The scene that occurred in front of him was only entertaining him, drinking the water from the glass that was placed on his hand. He drank the water as if it was liquor. His eyes only fell on the werewolves, following every movements of the action. From the looks of it, he figured that the former Beta was now the Alpha which also explained why the female wolf was fighting him. His mind wondered a thought about the Ridley, wondering where he went, but it didn't matter anymore. A new Alpha of the Fenris pack was soon to arise. |
Serina phase to her human form again and circled him. "You disgrace, you think you could be alpha with such meagre skills, such unrefined brutality?" He clamoured to his feet and howled at her. "Fenris doesn't need a lout like you in charge, we need a leader who understands what she is doing." The wolf charged again, expect her to repeat the action but this time she slipped into his blind spot and smashed him in the face with a phased arm. The bartender started banging his hand against the counter, the rhythm and tempo was known to all Fenris. Soon, the wolves of Fenris started to replicate the sound with their hands and feet The false Alpha crashed to the ground. She stood there, smiling. "We need a leader that won't charge blindly in." She noted the smells of the different people in the crowd, she could feel their pride being fed, some were letting off traces of anger, these ones were moving to surround her in the crowd. "One that has the Pack as first priority, not their own advancement." He launched a table at her, and when she ducked under it, he was there to meet her. He swung, she slid under him. Her arms phased as the grabbed the ground, her legs phased as she used her arms to move herself forward and kicked his legs from under him. He hit the dance floor face first with a whimper. She rose, in full wereform, she grabbed his legs. The she-wolf lifted, flung and smashed her opponent into a bunch of tables and chairs. "We need a leader who will be able to stand against our enemies." The sound was almost deafening as the club was seemingly turned into an arena. The soundproofed walls kept the noise in, leaving the rest of the world oblivous to the battle that took place within. |
| The male Beta just sat there, his back against the chair, and watched the show in amusement. An Alpha challenge was always interesting to watch, he noticed the others in the club were also getting into it, hearing their hands banging against something; the noise of their chanting. He was right, after hearing the voices of the fighters, he was right about the man being the current Alpha. He never took his eyes off of the fight scene, the only time he did was when he glanced at Nickel to see his reaction. From seeing the fight, he wondered if he should take on the Alpha for his pack, but he respected his Alpha. The only question he always thought about was, where was his Alpha? They needed a leader soon as well. Another sniff in the air, engulfing the smell of the others and the two strongest smell, the she-wolf and the current Alpha of Fenris. He still had no smell of Ridley. Did he also disappeared? It was a curious thought, maybe the disappearing act of Ridley might be connected to his missing Alpha. |
| The false Alpha crawled out of the tables, his eyes on the phased Serina, hate, naked hate. "Enough from you bitch! Get her now!" The wolves who had been in the motions of surrounding her made themselves visible as they stepped from the crowd. However, they didn't surround Serina alone, they surrounded both of them. They began to join in the chant and rhythm. "Fenris has pride stronger than mere base desire." Serina said, smiling down at the false one. "You think they will follow the weaker one?" He snarled then hurled himself at her with all his strength. Serina met him head on and this time she wasn't moved. She held him back, hand in hand. "Fenris are born strong!" She smacked his ribs with a rough kick, causing a painful crunch to ring out. "We grow mighty!" She used her other leg to strike down on his knee, splintering it as she overpowered him from above. "We fight everyday!" She lifted him above her head and slammed him down behind her, showing off the strength that she had hidden earlier. "We are feared by all!" She grabbed the false Alpha by the neck. "We NEVER Surrender!" Serina then ripped off his head as he whimpered lightly, about to beg for mercy. With his head in hand Serina, phased back into her human form. "WE ARE FENRIS, AROOOO!" She roared our and was joined in chorus by the other members of her pack. |
| "Ahh.. Finally." Zarkly took one last drink of the water as he watched the final ending of the battle, it was actually quite awesome after seeing it. His ears were filled by the chanting of the group in front of him, he would join, but he wasn't part of the pack at all. All he did was clap his hands quietly, of course he was showing respect. He would have congratulated the female wolf, but he didn't want to just interrupt the excitement in the atmosphere. |
| It was mostly a blur to Serina after that, some one brought her some clothes, a coat to wrap around herself. There was a lot of bowing and smiling made her way. The wolves showing they accepted her. Some left, not separating themselves from the pack. She didn't care for them. The Pack was hers now, and even though she took joy from that. She couldn't help but wonder what happened to Ridley. She tossed the head into a bin as she walked to the bar. "Wine." She said to the barkeeper. "A red, with a full flavour. And free drinks for the rest of the night, wolves howl at the moon!" A cheer went up as people moved to the bar for their drinks. Serina leant heavily on the bar side, her head throbbing from the blows she had taken. During the first charge, he had also dislocated her shoulder so any time she used it it had been agony. She hadn't shown it of course, because to show weakness was death. Her drink came and she drank it in one, then asked for another. The barkeeper gave her a proud smile. He gave the new Alpha a proud smile. She smelt the Beta from Fenrir and the Omega, she waved them over, not really looking though, man her head hurt. |
| After the new Alpha reached the bar, Zarkly bowed his head in respect. "Ah, you've done well, Serina." He said quietly while sitting on a stool next to her. A small sigh escaped from him as he looked at the others then back to her. "You've surpassed me, you're now the Alpha of the Fenris. I congratulate you." He was a little bit envious, but he didn't really care at the moment. For now, his main issue was to find his Alpha, so there was no time for him to take the position. |
| She smiled slightly teasing. "You make it sound like an achievement there, I guess you may not get a chance to see my scars unless you do the same in Augustine." Serina chuckled, holding the glass to her forehead and closing her eyes a little. The little ringing sound was getting louder and louder. Even though she had seemed stronger than him in the end, it was really just his own insecurities from the fact that his first attack had done nothing, his second charge had been weaker, more hesitated. She may not have been able to hold if the fight had gone on too much longer. "How about you join me up stairs? I need something to mention to the current highest available Augustine." Serina put an arm around his shoulder. "Plus, the people might think you are my newest conquest, and that would only be a good rumour for you." She grinned wickedly, even through the pain, her golden eyes sparkled. |
| "Well, it was a nice fight, you fought well." Zarkly chuckled along, shaking his head. "I don't think I'd be seeing your scars for awhile, I still have to find my Alpha. Did you know that my Alpha is missing?" He said with a sigh, his hand scratching the back of his head as he looked at the bottles display in front of him. A glass of water slid to him by the bartender, drinking water once more with one chug. He gazed at her after hearing her offer. "Sure, I'll join, but first let me ask you another question." He put the glass down, clearing his throat before speaking. "What happened to Ridley?" He asked with curiosity, it was not like him to just disappear. |
| It had taken Nickel a bit longer than he thought to get to the Den, okay a whole lot longer than usual, but he got there eventually. He knew following Zarkly's scent would lead him to it faster. He slipped inside, carefully stepping over broken bar chairs and spilled booze. |

| Serina grinned. "What did you think I was just a pretty face?" Her tone went sombre as he mentioned his Alpha. "I did know, many are starting to get worried that he's not been seen in so long." She shook him a little, "lets not dwell on that, come let's got to my room for that chat." She motioned him to walk on as she pointed to the stairs. Upon seeing the Alpha about to leave, there was a lot of applause and howling, not just because she had made drinks free for the night. The Fenris were glad to have a leader they could respect and that would lead them into battle. They revered strength, and they had seen that she possessed much in more ways than one. Although Zarkly would notice how heavily she was leaning on him, using him to stand as subtly as she could, others wouldn't notice, but he should, considering she matched his every step and pace to make sure it was as discreet as possible. |
| Zarkly had a small chuckle. "Heh, I've always thought more of you than just a pretty face." After hearing her answer about his Alpha, he just gave a nod. Maybe it wasn't the right time to talk all about these things, but celebrate instead since she was victorious from the fight. He turned to Nickel who just arrived. "Yo, wait here and have fun, alright?" He grinned. He stretched out his arms, then standing up to follow her, pace to pace. As he walked along with her, he noticed how heavy she was leaning on him which he figured right away that she was exhausted. Of course, the battle that just occurred weren't just a simple battle, it must have taken a lot of energy to have a fight like that and not only that, he knew that she was a bit hurt from the fight. No one gets out well from battles. He put an arm over her shoulder and held her in place as a support on the way to her room while he cheered along with the applause. He didn't want her to weaken in front of her pack, especially after that victory. |

| As they entered the room she had used before, she gave him a sympathetic smile. "Thank you." She said quietly. Serina was completely surprised to find a medic in her room... what was more surprising was that it was a medic she knew. "John? What the hell are you doing here?" She said. It was a wiry man, a head full of grey hair and a lopsided grin on his face. Something more pressing struck her. "Did anyone see you come in?" The man waved his hand and pointed to his nose. She gave the room a quick sniff and smelt the odour of a mid level Fenris Pack member. Which confused even her, since John was very much human. If she concentrated her nose to the point of almost phasing it, she could detect the human scent. She had one of the best noses around and she had to try, no wonder the wolves had given him no mind. Serina lifted her arm away from Zarkly and made her way to the bed, every limp an agony. "I don't know how you do it but I'm glad you are here." She sat down next to him. She looked back up at Zarkly. "I'm sorry, my manners. This is John Bishop, former Argent of Regret Choir, John, this is Zarkly, of Augustine." The man inclined his head towards Zarkly. She left his title out in case Zarkly didn't want it known. "Nice to meet you, thank you for taking care of Serina." The medic started to treat Serina's wounds, tutting at her and chastising her for taking so many risks as she grinned a growled playfully back. It was obvious the Alpha and John were very close. "Well, I did want to--OW!" She yelped as John was ministering to the back of her head. "You shouldn't have let him bang it against the floor so many times then." He received a growl to this as well. "What I was going to say was. Fenris is soon to be entering an alliance with House Lilith and I think if the ties between our two prides remain strong, we should have a sold foundation for peace between the two races." "And a mighty force to crush the hunters." John added as he picked up a needle and thread. "That too. It is not my first thought but that is a part of it as well, something fishy is going on... first your Alpha, then Ridley... What is the Alpha of Augustine's name? Maybe John heard something from his spies." * * * * Nickle was now nowhere to be seen in the bar. |
| After arriving to Serina's room, he spotted the man; John, knowing the name after hearing her spoke it out. The scent of a Fenris member came to him in the room, wondering if it was coming from the man. He was a bit confused. His shoulder felt free after having her arm off from him, he slowly followed and stood next to the bed while he listen to her give introduction to each other with the man. He was a little surprised after hearing her out. "Not a problem at all, I'm glad to help Serina. It's nice to meet you, John." He said to the man, more words came out from him. "You say, former Agent of Regret? Hm...Alright." He looked at John carefully, but if Serina could trust him then he could as well. That also explained the scent around the room, his confusion was erased after having to know John. Zarkly just quietly stood there, his eyes observing the man give treatment to Serina. A small smile came upon him as he watched closely then hearing the question of the female, he quickly answered. "My Alpha's name is Kirk, tell me if you've heard the name somewhere that could lead us to him." He sat down on a stool nearby, placing a hand on his chin while having his mind process a thought about the situation. "Hm, Kirk, then Ridley.. Something is fishy." He agreed with the female, he wanted to solve this problem as soon as possible, but he didn't even have any clue. |
