No matter how much japanese you know, 4-5 years have to be enough for me to understand most of what you say.
One time i went to Tv online or something like that and watched tokyo news xD
I was surprised at how much i understood

Same, I've been studying for 1 and a half years, and nothing happens when I listen to raw japanese, I pick up a few simple things, but due to my short term memory, it means hearing it brings nothing, sure, if its written I can kind of decipher the whole thing without a dictionary, but I have no chance if its verbal.

This conversation instantly went off the edge due to the no new SAO, so, lets share some review done by some guy some time ago. He's a anime reviewer I quite like, so I am gonna put his vid up.

Wow, Has SAO been dubbed already..?
That's fast.. I just finished airing..
Allright, so.. Great Review ^^ Only thing that would have been better, If the reviewer used the original japanese clips instead of the english ones.. ^^

It seems good.. ^^
I'm not a fan of dubs... But as it is a version of SAO.. I will definately be watching it even if it turns into a dub..
I've just been obsessed with SAO and Accel world lately..
I love the equipment both of the animes use..
Allthough I am far from a fan of mecha..
The mangaka certainly has a great imagination..

Yea, I look forward to a dub for my brother and dad, you see I intro'd my brother and dad into anime, but the problem is that my dad has bad eyesight so he can't actually read the subtitles, and my brother is 7 and can't actually catch up with the subs cus they move to fast for him (Even though I was watching anime and reading along fine at the age of 6)

So basically, if its not in dub, my brother and dad can't watch it with me, so dub helps me find a common ground in anime with my family cus besides them my big brother is the only other anime fan, and he's a prick.

Im not dubbing it, someone is, besides, there is a few anime with good dubs, in full metal panic I think the dubs are honestly better than the subs.

Not in all cases, Lovely Complex movie was good, and games, don't you dare tell me the hitman movie was bad, that the max payne movie was bad, cus they were bloody awesome, and besides, if they dub it, just don't watch it, I prefer subs as well, but some want dubs, its simple enough.

Not to mention, prince of persia sands of time, that was a bloody good movie, and some may disagree with me, but the Last Airbender was a stunning movie.

Wakaranai, I haven't seen either of those.. Especially not as a dub..
My personal thoughts on dubs, I'd rather watch an anime in RAW's than to watch the dubs..
But I've become a hardcore sao fan.. I can't help it..
I need to watch dubs and subs both of the animes I adore..
If you don't get your expectations up, You can't be dissapointed..

Yeah, I know what you mean an-chan..
I'm the same with mom with regards to asian dramas and animes..
My mom is like me though... A total hater with regards to dubs..
And her english isn't that great with regards to her reading pace..
We're training her for it.. She's grown addicted to asian stuff.. particulary dramas.

My dads not to much into it, I am slowly training my brother into an anime fan, he hit the age of 7 and I began operation Make-Him-Into-A-Diehard-Otaku.

Slowly, I have got him watching anime, convinced him to try a drama (Well sort of) soon and I am gonna start him up with a few manga's soon.

When I say drama, I really mean Kamen Rider, basically japanese power rangers on motorbikes, its not exactly drama's, but considering he's 7, its a start.

Ganbatte ne, An-chan..
As for your brother, show him pokemon, digimon and those animes.. We all watched those growing up..
He'll naturally come along eventually being shown these..

He's grown up with naruto, bleach, pokemon, digimon and I have managed to entice him into lovely complex, my brother has already had all those things, now I just gotta push him into subs, intro him to an anime site, tell him to watch whatever he wants, and within 6 months he will become a die hard otaku.

I love the song, gonna get it for myself, and damn, if I had one complaint with SAO, the main female character is the most boring, she loses her bad-ass-ness after about 6 episodes and is boring and irrelevant after that, every side girl in SAO is far more interesting, especially the one in the video, and his sister, any of them would of been awesomer choices, anyway, whatever, can't have everything.

Personally, I really liked Asuna.. She was a great heroine.. However, I feel like most of the other girls in the anime just dissapeared all to fast..
Like, We could have seen more to them than what we did..
If you know what I mean..
They could have had more than just cameo roles sort of.. <.<

I see, every one has the right to an opinion, but they just turn her character completely around after a few episodes, she goes from the silent and beautiful mysterious character to the stereotypical anime girl far too fast, and I personally think it was the companies feeble attempt at trying to make kirito look awesomer than he already does.

Yeah, I would say thet definately managed to prove that..
I had fallen for Kirito's character record beatingly fast.. Took only a matter of 3 episodes xD
Kirito is awesome, However Asuna is also partly to blame for the anime's awesomeness :)

animeman asuna is practically awesome its just that they didnt show the epic background of her in the anime which sort of makes her the typical powerful anime girl

She's cool but they just try to make her useless all too fast, I mean, look at her at the start of the series, she's awesome and badass at first, and then when they show her in the cage in the second season, she doesn't even retaliate, I mean I understand she can't escape, but she doesn't even stand up to him, she just sits there moping in the corner.

Just hope the cast's voices aren't major turnoffs this time around..
That screws up things SO much..

I agree, most of the time, dubs f**k it all up, and they may well do on SAO, but its not always bad, for example, Full Metal Panic has a superior Dub to the original, same as Please Teacher, sometimes dubs are better, 98% of the time they are worse, but not always.

Anyhow, I'll keep my hopes up for this..
I just hope the voices they choose actually suit the characters this time though..
Funimation has had a few promising works afterall..
Allthough I am more of a fan of RAW, SUB anime over Dub anytime..
I still will watch it..
I'd say there is some hope though... After all, The ones dubbing this time around isn't 4kids..
That would have ruined the anime already..
