I rolled for Summer Skadi, and while I had enough Saint Quartz to get her on pity if needed, it took me 600 SQ to get her. Along the way, I got Wu at NP5, as well as Jinako from a spook, a servant I don't have. I was hoping to get her without having to tap into my reserve from fragments, and I barely just avoided having to do that. So with that, I got a ton of SQ for the anniversary event, and just as planned I got Arcueid, Lady Avalon, and Summer Skadi, while getting Melusine and NP3 Arjuna using paid SQ. After going all-in for Avalon and Skadi, while doing limited summons for Summer Ibuki and not getting her, I have Lady Avalon, Summer Skadi, Summer Gareth at NP5, Sailor Erice at NP1, and Jiangshi Wu at NP5, while having at least one max limit broken copy of every event CE, and also picking up three new servants in Jinako and Dobrynya, as well as choosing Thrud for my welfare Summer Valkyrie servant. |
After getting Lady Avalon and Summer Skadi, I used whatever Saint Quartz and tickets I had left (without using any paid SQ or fragments) to go for Summer Ibuki. After rolling with two multis and 24 tickets, I got her. With that, I now have all the summer servants with Avalon, Ibuki, and Skadi all at NP1, while I got Gareth and Wu at NP5 as the result of going all-in for Avalon and Skadi, as well as Erice at NP1, as well as Jinako as an SSR spook. It's going to be quite awhile before I go all-in for any new servants, but I'll be getting a new 5-star servant for free soon as I don't have Artoria yet and she can be had with the upcoming FSN 20th anniversary event. Seeing how I got a ton of new servants that it quickly exhausted my supply of QP as I started out with over a billion before anniversary, and now it's down to just a million after all the Ibuki enhancements. So with that, the event is completed with the entire shop being bought out, having did all that with a week left for the event and now I'm just bond farming the time away. |

| While I have largely drained my supply of Saint Quartz going for all of this year's summer servants, I have recovered enough so that I almost have enough to get a servant on pity, and while I already have Koyanskaya, I definitely could use her at NP2 seeing that there are no must-summon servants for the rest of the year. Even so, I still need to do draws for CEs for the remaining three new events this year. Anyway, I have quite the big decision to make, but I won't do so until after I do my limited rolls for the next GudaGuda event, but seeing I just don't need any of the upcoming servants that I'll have a hard time turning down this opportunity. |
| GudaGuda 7 started yesterday, and getting all the event CE's did a real number on my SQ stash. The 5* event CE just wouldn't show up for the longest time. It ended up taking sixteen multis (a little more than half of my inventory) and twenty Tickets to get it. The only other 5* card that came up during yesterday's draws was the event's featured 5* Servant, Sen-no-Rikyu. On the plus side, I managed to get Koyanskaya of Light last week, so my farming options have increased considerably. |

And thus, the GudaGuda tea ceremony event begins, and I just made what is perhaps my luckiest Saint Quartz summon multi ever. On just my first multi, I got Sen no Rikyu and Keisuke, as well as a copy of the 5-star event CE, three copies of the 4-star event CE, and a copy of Nagayoshi for good measure as well. I ended up spending some SQ to try and make my Koyanskaya NP2 but failed. But after just spending 30 SQ, I got everything I need, though not having extra copies of the 3-star CE is a small price to pay for this extremely lucky draw that I just did. |
| That Okitea army was rough. Jean and then Mash helped me survive the first few waves of Noble Phantasms but it was Zombie Musashi that won it for me. I lost count of how many times that Necromancy card popped, it's never been that reliable for me |
| And with that, this year's GudaGuda event has come to a close. I got a lot of swag from this event with just 30 Saint Quartz getting Sen no Rikyu, Keisuke, and all event CEs, and after the main event ended I was just grinding away at the free quest against BB to stockpile tea leaves, while getting a second MLB copy of the dropped 5-star CE, as well as getting several event servants at bond level 7 including the three new ones to continue stockpiling SQ after the summer event drained a good portion of it and my lucky draw was a life saver. The next event is the Halloween event with Huyan Zhou and Huang Feihu as the new summoned servants, with Dragon Elly as the free servant for the event. There are no more servants that I plan on going all-in to get until Draco drops in the spring. |
| And now it's onto the recollection event of the 5th Lostbelt, and while the normal quests have all been a breeze, the challenge quests have been exponentially more difficult with the second half. At the very least for the other challenge quests I'm able to get to the last break bar before my party gets wiped out, but I'm getting hit with stun and skill or NP seal at the wrong time, and not to mention the battles are much longer and stuff while a single critical hit will just throw everything off track. |
| I managed to get through all three super recollection quests, but they took a long time to finish. I ended up using stall tactics like what I did against Kirschtaria for the battles against the beast and Caenis with both battles lasting well over 100 turns, but the battle with Aphrodite I couldn't do that thanks to the numerous status ailments that she placed on my servants, as well as her NP causing instant death to charmed servants. Anyway, I have a bazillion or so teapots and just a week to use them before they expire with no word on when the next event is coming. |

| I spent 60 Saint Quartz and 10 tickets for this event. I got Feihu, but no Zhou, while drawing a copy of the 5-star CE, two of the 4-star, and one of the 3-star. I was just going for the CEs here as I wasn't going to go all-in to get Zhou once again, so I got what I came here to get. Anyway, I just finished the main event, and now it's time to farm away and get some extra goodies from the event. |
| The upcoming lotto should start next Friday, and there's a pre-release campaign going on. I got Morgan from LB6 this morning in only two multis, so my SQ stash is still ready for the lotto. |

| As I do every time there's a festival event, I'm farming like crazy. The second set of quests ends tonight, and already I have farmed enough medals to buy everything from the shops save for the monuments as I was focusing on doing that as I get more CEs that drop lottery tickets, or numbered bibs as they are being called here. And as for the gacha for this event, I ended up needing to spend 150 Saint Quartz to get all the CEs I wanted that includes a 5-star CE, three of the 4-star CEs, and five of the 3-star CEs that I have since max limit broken, and seeing that there were two summon packs where I didn't even get a single event CE or even a 4 or 5-star servant among those five was just frustrating. |
| The lotto is now in its final week. Good thing I got Morgan during the pre-release campaign; she was my MVP for the exhibition quest finale. I've cleared everything this event has to offer, but of course I'll continue farming lotto currency until time is up. |

| Yesterday there was a panel commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Fate franchise, and there were a few announcements regarding the game. First, a new series of banners over the course of the next week and a half.  There's also a special GSSR banner similar to the one from August 2023.  And CS's will now recover at a rate of all three per day beginning tomorrow, compared to one per day before.  Also, the first episode of Fate/Strange Fake is on Crunchyroll's YouTube channel for this week only. Oh, and one more thing from the panel.  "Cable TV?" You don't really think the UBW anime is coming to the Toonami block, do you? |

| So after farming away, I cleared the board 120 times, which goes a long way to restoring my stock of QP that was depleted after the anniversary and summer events, all while getting lots of SQ to replenish what I spent there. And then I did the GSSR, getting Hijikata as my 5-star servant, who I don't have yet. |
| The Christmas event just wrapped up, and as it was a revival event rather than a new one that there were only 20 lottery boards to spin this time around. There was no need to use any Saint Quartz this time around seeing that I had all the CEs needed for farming seeing that unlike with a typical Christmas event, I only needed to farm just enough to clear the shop and the lottery boards. Of course, I did more than that, though just to get a few event servants to the next bond level. And with that, it's onto the release of the 7th Lostbelt that's happening on Christmas and this game has given me quite a lot of Saint Quartz between the numerous campaigns and the Advent calendar presents. |
| LB7 has finally dropped, and its first new Servant, Nitocris Alter, got put into the summoning pool a lot earlier than I was expecting. I didn't get her on the one multi I did this morning, but I did get a new Servant regardless: Watanabe-no-Tsuna. |

| Quite a lot of Saint Quartz given out this week with 15 for Christmas, 16 for the social campaign, and 4 for maintenance. That gives me enough SQ to be guaranteed a servant on pity, but I'm saving it looking at getting Kukulkan, who drops towards the end of January, and Draco, who is expected in April. In the meantime, I need to think about what banner to roll on for the GSSR for New Year's Day. |

| The New Year's gacha is fast approaching, but I plan to pass on Rasputin as it's quite a loaded year once again, and Kukulkan and Draco are who I'm prioritizing, as well as the summer servants way down the line. I now have enough Saint Quartz to get a servant on pity in the worst case scenario, but I'm not ready to use that up and I'll continue to save up until that time comes. And as expected over in Japan, the New Year's servant is none other than Richard I to commemorate the premiere of the Fate/Strange Fake TV series, though it didn't announce when in 2025 the series will be airing. |
New Year's is here, and with it a new banner series and a new GSSR. For the GSSR banner, I chose the ST Rider option, one of two that guaranteed me a new Servant. I was hoping to get Reines, but I ended up with the other 5* support Rider, Konstantinos XI. |

After thinking long and hard about what GSSR banner I wanted to roll for, I decided to go with the ST Assassin banner seeing that it's the only banner that I don't mind getting any of the SSR servants on. I also considered ST Rider and AOE Quick Extra seeing that respectively, I wanted Reines and Douman, but I just didn't want to be stuck with a dud or unnecessary duplicate in the worst-case scenario and ultimately, I went with the maximin approach of going for the best of the worst-case scenarios, which led me to go ST Assassin. I was hoping for First Hassan, but getting an NP2 Kama is also a great get as well. While I Mysterious Heroine X was the servant I least wanted, I would have been fine with getting her as well seeing that I don't have her. So with that, part 2 of the next Lostbelt is coming on Wednesday, and I have saved up my Saint Quartz and tickets to be guaranteed Kukulkan. After that, I will save up for one of the big prizes of the year in Draco. |

| I went for Kukulcan and got her having spent 90 Saint Quartz. I haven't had a servant I needed to roll for since the summer event, so I accumulated a lot of SQ for this draw, and having gotten her pretty early on that it leaves me with enough SQ to for my next target on pity if necessary, which is Draco in April. In the meantime, I just finished up Lostbelt 7, and I just want to remind everybody that the teapots expire in a couple of days, but if you haven't used them up and haven't finished the Lostbelt, save two of them and use them in the final battles against ORT after the raid. As for the raid itself, the best approach is to send out one servant equipped with the Kaleidoscope CE at a time, preferably one with a low rarity that has a single target NP. So with all the Lostbelts complete, next up is the Paper Moon chapter that's expected to drop in May.  |
| The 22 million download campaign is on, and there's quite a lot of stuff being given away here with 60 Saint Quartz in total, as well as the release of the prologue for the next segment of the game now that all seven Lostbelts have been dealt with. I just read through the prologue having cleared the last Lostbelt, and there are quite a number of big revelations going on, and in particular Goetia's role, the extra classes, and where the master originates from, among other things. |
| Next livestream panel is Thursday, which means this year's Valentine's Day event is coming on Friday when Pope Johanna is released. As the Pope isn't somebody I'll be going after that I plan to just do a few Saint Quartz multi packs to get the event CEs seeing that I'm saving for Draco in two months. In any case, the next event is right around the corner as once again all the chocolate-giving scenes are fully voiced. |
| The gacha for the Valentine's Day event was a disaster for me as I wound up spending 180 Saint Quartz on it, and I didn't get my copy of the 5-star CE until then. I didn't get Pope Johanna and the only 4-star I got was Martha. Anyway, while I still have enough SQ to get her on pity, I am saving up for the next two months to get Draco, and I'm hoping that I have can get her on NP2 seeing that she doesn't return for a long time on JP. In the meantime, I'm still deciding who gets the special chocolates as I want to be sure this time about who I want to farm with on the 90++ free quest before making a decision as last time, only one of them ended up being brought for that quest while the other was just in the back lines gaining bond points and doing nothing. |
| And with that, I'm now just bond farming away now that I have completed everything with the Valentine's Day event from cleaning out the shop to clearing the challenge quest. I ended up giving my special chocolates to Bazett and Qin after thinking about it seeing that I would be using these two servants for farming, and while the 90++ gives the most bond points, it takes a long time to clear seeing that Jinako uses her NP every three turns with her putting up invincibility after using it. However, with the 90+ quest, I can easily clear it in 4 turns every time while the bond reward isn't that much less to the point where I can clear it at least twice in about the same amount of time I would need to clear the 90++ quest, and with hundreds of apples just sitting in my inventory. Since Bazett has a damage bonus against Casters and Qin is a Ruler that has the class advantage over a Moon Cancer that I went with those two. Anyway, through this farming I now have the Decisive Battle mystic code fully leveled up, while Bazett is bonded to level 11, Mysterious Alter X doesn't have much further to go to get to bond level 10, while Qin is now at level 8. |
| And with that, I just finished this year's White Day event having cleared the story, and now the challenge quest. As the Draco summoning event is coming up that I decided to just do a single multipack knowing that I can get a 5-star event CE for free, and I got two of the 4-star CEs and two of the 3-star CEs in that roll. So with that, there are only a few more weeks before the big Draco banner comes around seeing that she doesn't even return for the GSSR (she can still be had at the Destiny Order summon), and doesn't return for a long time. So having saved up my Saint Quartz, I have more than enough to guarantee her on pity, while I'm hoping that I still have enough SQ left to go for two, and maybe try my luck at getting Tiamat if I get extremely lucky with my Draco summons. In any case, I'm now just farming away as for the rest of this event as I'm slowly, but surely clearing the event shop opting to use bond CEs. And the 90++ node quest goes much quicker than the Valentine's Day event. |
| This year's Chaldea Boys Collection event has wrapped up, and after completing the event pretty early that I just farmed away to get a number of my male servants leveled up. While there's a lottery farming event coming in a month, I have so many apples that I can't even use all that for an event like that. In any case, I got a ton of SQ to set me up well for the upcoming Draco summoning event. In the meantime, Tiamat is up, and I plan on waiting how the Draco draw goes before going after Tiamat as I plan on going for NP2 with Draco knowing that it's going to be a long time before she's back as she's not even available for the GSSR summons. |
| Lilim Harlot is here, and the long-awaited Draco banner. I have been saving up for this event to the point where I skipped out on summoning for Rasputin or the Popess (only doing the minimum needed to get the event CEs), and now it's time I tested my luck as I just needed to abstain since last year's summer event. The plan coming in is to go all-in to summon Draco, and depending on my luck since I had enough to get her on pity if need be, get her at NP2 seeing that there's just no telling when she will be back again. And if I got NP2 with plenty of SQ to spare, go for Tiamat. Getting Draco NP1 was guaranteed, but I got her after spending 210 SQ and seeing that cool animation sequence when she's summoned:  Then 240 more SQ later, mission accomplished:  Having started out with 664 free SQ and 21 tickets, as well as 506 in fragments, that meant a 65.6% chance of getting NP2 without leaching into my reserve of fragments, and 92% chance including the fragments. Of course, I'll get some more SQ throughout the event, but at the start of it my chances were pretty good. The probability of getting NP2 with the 450 SQ I ended up using is 40.6%. And now, I'm looking to add Tiamat as well, but I will hold off on that for a bit as I'm hoping that I won't have to tap into my Saint Quartz reserve, or rather fragments that I don't immediately exchange as my way of constraining myself from going overboard with the gacha, and they are only to be used in a rainy day situation when a must-summon servant drops and I haven't had enough time to save SQ to get it. |
After stockpiling some more Saint Quartz aided by the giveaways for the evocation introduction and for going through the main quests that I did my rolls for Tiamat. I used 20 tickets after I got my NP2 Draco, and then I came back and spent 210 SQ, and here is Tiamat. So in all, I spent a total of 660 SQ (210 for Draco NP1, 240 more for Draco NP2, and 210 for Tiamat) and 20 tickets. In addition to the rate-up servants, I got Locusta at NP5, the 5-star event CE max limit broken, enough copies of the 4-star CE to have a total of four MLB copies, two MLB copies of the 3-star CE plus a couple extra, and a few 4-star servants that I raised the NP levels for (though I just can't remember who they were). And with that, it's time to start saving up for the summer event, though unlike with last year's event Zerktoria and maybe Aesc are the only servant I want rather than me going after all of them. |

| With one more week left in the event, I have just been farming away hoping to get as much bond EXP as possible for all the event servants as having a CE that triples attack power for the event is always helpful for doing that. They are all at level 6 working on 7 as I have cleared the shop, though at some point I need to tackle the challenge quest, which I'm waiting to get a second MLB copy of the CE dropped before doing so. While the lotto event is just around the corner, I have so many apples already and I typically can't spend that many of them even for an event such as that. In any case, I got everything I was saving up my Saint Quartz for in this event. |

In any case, I got what I wanted out of this event's gacha without having to tap into my Saint Quartz fragments that I don't redeem as a way to constrain myself from going overboard, and is pretty much saved up for a rainy day banner or something. In the meantime, Ordeal Call is just around the corner, and there are a lot more SQ giveaways coming, while I need to catch up on the rank-up quests before the next event. |

| Two days into the event, I already got enough tickets to claim all the grand prizes and from hereon out, it's just to farm for QP, FP, and mana prisms as I have way too man EXP cards than I can realistically use. It's a great thing the 90++ quest (at least for the first round) is a piece of cake once you have the event damage CE max limit broken. As such, there wasn't really the need to for me to draw the event CEs knowing that I eventually will have the required number of dropped items simply by farming on that quest. But I decided to try anyway limiting myself to 90 Saint Quartz and 10 tickets. I got Danzo at NP3 and a few copies of the 3 and 4-star CEs, but nothing for the 5-star CE. Since it's happening at a rather busy time that I decided that I'm not going to farm as hard as I have in the past with the lottery farming event. |
| And with that, the lotto farming event is over, and the Ordeal Call event is on where I'm getting quite a ton of goodies, including a ton of Corona Fous, Holy Grails, and QP, among other things. As for the lotto farming event, while it was happening during a busy time, I did manage to farm enough to clear the lotto board 124 times. It helps that instead of the super-difficult exhibition quests from the festival events, it's a bunch of challenges that are easy once you figure out how they work. And I found the strategy that helped me clear the 90++ free quests quickly in no time at all as Sitonai, Arjuna Alter (with the damage up CE), and Koyan Light, along with a friend's Castoria, made quick work in 4 or 5 turns. With that, and all the freebies that include way too many three-star Fous that only clog up my inventory and present box, that I need to clear up space in my present box for all the stuff from the spins. |
| The next main story chapter, Ordeal Call I: Paper Moon, is scheduled to drop tomorrow. My only complaint with all the new Bleached Earth FQ's is that they tend to take away from normal farming for materials. In related news, Hollow Ataraxia has been confirmed to be released for Steam and Switch later this year. |

| And today is the start of the Mystic Eyes Symphony event, one that's similar in format to the tower event where you need to clear 200 quests and doing so with the servants having a cooldown period after being deployed. As no CEs are needed for extra drops that I'm passing on doing any summoning this time around with the anniversary and summer events coming soon. |
| And with that, the Mystic Eyes Symphony event has ended as the 8th anniversary event is just days away, following the panel at AX this Saturday. Just like with the previous tower events, I used a number of servants who I rarely use, but I opted to take my time this time around. With just about every quest, I used five servants by the time I got all the double bond CEs with two tag-along servants just there gaining bond points. And of course, for this kind of event I refrained from using any Saint Quartz since the CEs become unnecessary. So with that, time to think about what I will do for this anniversary event as I'm thinking about going for Aesc, but I'm prioritizing Zerktoria in the summer event, which based on the Japanese calendar, their banners will not overlap. So from the look of things, I will just be doing the GSSR this time around, skipping the Aesc banner and the Destiny Order Summon. |
