| A month's steady travel from Elysium leads to this village, a village not on any main road. Iradene is in the heart lands of Lycan territory and is considered the capital of the wolf tribe. Our small party has arrived here, unmolested and just reaching the end of their supplies, though the unmolested part was an extremely strange coincidence. Now they find themselves in a village that, though large in size, only has houses made of thatched reeds and huts of hay. |
| Aren finds herself looking around the village as she moves along with the others, "So this is Iradene? Rather quaint," she says taking in the small huts and lay of the village. |

| "It reeks of dog..." Keratani scoffs, however she can't help but change her attitude as her stomach roared. "So...hungry..." |

| Vrikdarok looks around at Large primitive village pondering what is going to happen. He did not know if the wolf tribe had any problems with orcs so he kept his guard up expecting anything. He hears Ketrani remark and retorts. "You are always hungry , if you don't watch out you will get fat." |
| "No I won't." She grins and starts hallucinating. "Vinny...have you always been a giant leg of lamb?" |

| "Uhh no and I'm an orc so I'm pretty sure I'm not going to taste good anyway.." he says with a sigh as his grip tightens around his sword. |
| Aren sighs and moves a bit ahead saying to herself, "Idiots." She shuffles her pack on her shoulder wondering where all the villagers were. It seemed all too quiet around here. |

| "C'mere and let me have your neck for a little bit!" Keratani shouts and punces at Vinny. |

| He quickly moves out of the way and sighs (speed 800) "Too slow little Alucard maybe someday you will catch me." he says in a teasing tone. |
| Vinny's found his leg to be caught by her chain spear. "Come here lamb leg!" |
|
| He quickly jerks his leg forward overpowering her.(strength 1000) "Can't you be a nuisance to someone else." he says calmly as he takes his shield off of his back and readies himself for another attack. |
| She matches his strength as her fangs become more prominent, visible when her mouth is closed and her eyes turn scarlet. It's obvious she's about to enter blood rage. She nearly snarls as she demands "Blood. Now." |

| Jaivar followed behind, not really saying anything but listening to every word they said. He had been up most nights taking care of the threats that they would face in order to makes the month's travel much smoother. He had even done so without anyone's notice... perhaps with the exception of Miss Keratani who could probably smell the blood on him when he had been done. In the city centre all the people of the village were listening to a talk given by a beautiful raven haired woman. "... This is why I think we should go ahead with the plan. It will benefit all of us and future generations. Don't think you are trading these rights for me. I'm only going where my heart takes me as a wolf should." She had a noble air about her, even though she was dressed in a plain woolen shirt and long skirt. The crowd seemed unsure but they were mostly looking at her withlove, it was apparent that this was Samerai. |
| "No you will not taste my blood." he says calmly as he takes a defensive stance and severs the chain spear from his leg. "You are entering a blood rage.. How cute your blood rage makes you as strong as I normally am. Imagine if I entered a blood rage.. There is a reason the remnant races hate to meet us in hand to hand combat." he says with a smirk as it had be awhile since he been in a fight and oddly was eager for one. |
| "I haven't even gone berserk yet" She grins threateningly. "I'm even stronger at then...and what is up with you people and breaking my spears!?" She shouts with a tear in her eye, the blood rage abated as she seemed to be throwing a noble's tantrum. |

| "You are such a spoiled brat." he says calmly as he continues on his way to catch up with the rest of the group ignoring her. You would think a noble would be a little more well behaved. Oh well I don't know her situation so it is unfair to judge her I guess. |
| "Oi, Vinny." She calls and throws the part of the spear he broke off at his head. It wouldn't really kill anyone, but it would still make a bad owwie. |

| He quickly pulls his shield around blocking it. "You are an odd one." he says calmly as he continues to walk towards the rest of the group. "Why don't you go bother Aren? You two get along quite nicely." |
| She pouts. "You're going to buy me a new spear and until then I won't stop bothering you." |
|
| "You attacked me first trying to suck on my blood. I merely used self defense to prevent you from feeding on me. In a sense it's your own fault and you are a rich noble I'm sure you can buy another one." |
| "...." For once she grew silent. She turns around and walks off to hide her shame. |
|
| She is quiet? I wonder if I was too harsh. Well at least she is quiet for now. he then sighs and continues on. |
| Aren had done her best just to ignore the two person comedy duo as they had approached the town central. Her ears perked a bit at the go bother Aren comment and the urge to hit Vinny in the mouth for even trying to pass the buck onto her had crossed her mind but she'd let it slide. Looking ahead she sees the woman and hears the ending of her speech. The woman carried herself with the air of someone important besides the clothes she wore. She was also strikingly pretty Aren had to admit something she rarely said of other women as they always seemed so prissy. Looking back at Jaivar she asks, "Is she the one we're looking for?" |

| He is behind them observing the situation. I wonder if that is her.. Oh well I shall wait to see what Jaivar response is. |
| Before Jaivar could nod, she caught sight of them. She smiled and excused herself from the crowd as she made her way towards them. By the time she was half way there, she was running. Her happy grin made her eyes shine as she leapt and hugged Jaivar, the same Jaivar who didn't shake hands because he didn't like to be touched. This discomfort was evident on his face. "Mistress.... please I don't..." She just hugged him tighter and interrupted what he was saying. "Jaivar, it's so good to see you, did Dervain send you with a letter? Are you going to cook this time? Are you taking me to him?" She asked a slew of question which, with he slow steady way of talking, he was unable to answer. Jaivar was finally able to get out. "Aren... has... it..." He seemed more laboured trying to talk when she was hugging him than before. She curiously looked at the orc and said. "You are Aren then?" Some how she had come to the conclusion that Keratani and Aren himself couldn't be Aren. |
| Aren watched as the girl put poor Jaivar in an uncomfortable state. She'd rather grown to respect him as he'd been her only sane travel companion who didn't annoy her, so she felt rather sorry for him as his discomfort was clear. She cleared her throat as the princess mistook the orc for her, " "Um...I'm Aren." She reached into her layers to retrieve the letter given to her by Dervain, "and this is the letter from your prince." |

| Keratani has left the party Keratani looked around the town for a smithy of some kind to try and get her spear repaired. She has no such luck however.... (Dungeoneering = 0) // It's a temporary leave :P |

| Suddenly... Samerai looked long and hard at Aren releasing Jaivar, as if he didn't even exist anymore. She saw the letter in the girl's hand and her irises narrowed to slits. She suddenly growled, a low angry tone. "So, you took his ring as well!? He's my fiancee and I won't give him up easily!!! Even under the dead flesh and disguise I can smell you!" Her form changed as she shifted into her were-form and charged at Aren. Jaivar looked particularly puzzled as this happened before he attempted to restrain Samerai.... for which he was promptly flung away. |
| Aren is taken aback as the girls anger flares so quickly but she quickly puts herself on the defensive as the girl charges forward, "I... I don't want your fiancee what the hell are you talking about...I'm just delivering his letter to you..." She thinks to herself "Why the hell is she so upset with me but seemed fine when she thought Vinny was me?" |

| Keratani gave up searching on her own and came back to ask for help when she saw the charging Lycan. She gets in between Samerai and Aren and points whats left of her spear at the charging beast. |

| Ohhh great.. he sighs as he immediately springs into action hitting the lycans back leg with his shield to weaken her charge and hopefully temporally cripple her. |
| ((Not fast enough)) Samerai growls as she moved quicker than the orc, not giving him a chance to attack as she was out of his reach when he was able to string together a thought. The lycan shifted to the side, her movement giving her a better view of Aren as her howl came out. "I'll kill you, you boy-ish looking temptress!" She was about to charge into Aren when Jaivar ran headlong into her. They rolled for a moment but Samerai was too strong, she flung Jaivar's light frame at Keratani and Aren as she moved in for the kill. |
| Aren jumped dodging Jaivar and then used her pack to block the woman's attack, "Look you crazy bitch chill out! I'm a boy...a boy.....even if I was a girl I wouldn't want your damn prince so calm the hell down! The only reason I took this job was for Idium!" She didn't want to fight this girl after all the prince probably wouldn't take kindly to them putting marks on his precious princess. |

| Shit not fast enough.. Maybe we can come to a peaceful resolution rather then fight. He then collects himself and turns to the wolf. "We just came here to deliver the letter. Aren has no interest in your fiance." he says calmly |

| ((That's how it was used though, not able to catch her as opposed to not having the reflexes to do so.)) Samerai howled at Aren. "Do you think I'm stupid? I can smell you. Women produce chemicals and pheromones that men don't even though your body is dead, the scent is still there!" She seemed deaf to most forms of reason as she clawed at the bag. "Then where is his ring? Why have't you given his ring back! You are trying to steal him from me!" She made a faint for Aren's face then snaked her claws downwards and then up to slash through Aren's clothes. In truth, she had been aiming to eviscerate the undead messenger, but she had veered to the left in anticipation of an attack from her side. |
| Aren narrowed her eyes at the girl as her clothes were torn she'd paid good money for those and on top of that trying to out her to everyone else the woman had tread on territory Aren could not forgive. Slipping her hand into her pocket as she dodged backwards she pulled out the ring balling her fist around it, "You want this damn ring take it," he first inclination is to punch her fist through the girls pretty face though with effort and much restraint she just tosses the ring and letter on the ground in front of her. |

| It seemed like nothing would calm her except for taking care of Aren, but when the ring was thrown... it seemed liike it was the worst thing that could happened. "What? Is he not good enough for you." Samerai lead with her claws, attempting to tear into Aren. This time she managed to rip through the bandages, her rage making her more and more inaccurate. Then a pale blue barrier appeared around Aren. Samerai crashed against it trying to break it with sheer strength but it wouldn't give way. Then, it seemed to push everything she had done back on her, causing the lycan to reel backwards and crash to the ground where she groaned in obvious pain. |
| With the ripping of the bandages Aren's own anger had been provoked and she had moved to fight back with the princess when the barrier appeared blocking her as well. She saw the girl reel onto the ground after she couldn't break through with will and no sympathy what so ever came to mind. She hoped the pain would last her a good while. Quickly pulling together the mangled parts of her clothes without trying to bring too much attention to it. She was glad she had double wrapped the bandages where they had last stopped when she'd gotten some time alone. Though they were cut and starting to unravel a bit they were still performing their duty as nothing was really visible. She looked around to see who had put up the barrier. She wanted to thank them even though she really just wanted to disappear somewhere. "That crazy harpy brought too much attention this way there are going to be questions...this is not good..." she thought to herself slightly worried. |

| Unfortunately for Keratani, she ended up being flung aside and passed out from hunger. Bumping her head didn't help much either. |

| There was a chuckle as a familiar elven face looked on quite amused. "My my my, you are always getting into fights, Samerai. Your jealousy seems to know no bounds." She leaned on her staff as she looked at Aren. "And you? You almost looked like you would punch her.... it's not nice for a man to hit a woman" She put a slight inflection on the word man... only enough so that Aren might notice but others would probably gloss over it. "And treating my brother's ring with such... carelessness, it's a good thing he isn't hear." Samerai groaned, she still seemed to be in pain as her form changed into a more humanoid one. This took Nata'li a moment to notice as she mused to herself. "Mmm maybe it was too much to use a reflection barrier, she seems to have really hurt herself." |
| "So I have you to thank for that barrier I suppose," Aren says as she looks over at Nata'li before moving over to Keratani and picking the girl up off the ground and piggy backing her over to the rest of the group. She figured she wouldn't hear the end of it once Keratani woke up. Things like 'put me down you damn zombie...' would definately fly forth from the girls mouth but she couldn't just leave her laying on the ground alone. She could hear the girls stomach growling, "Seems she wasn't just complaining." she thinks to herself. Looking back at at Nata'li as she hears the inflection in her voice she replies, "Crazy harpies who attack first and ask questions later deserve what ever they get! " she lets out a sigh completely annoyed, "That princess should learn some proper etiquette!" |

| "Don't worry Aren I will take care of Keterani." he says calmly as he pulls out a piece of salted meat and holds it under her nose like smelling salt. |
| The meat does not wake her, but due to instinct she bites down on it after a little smelling of it. |

| What an odd girl.. he says to himself. "So Aren they keep calling you she and putting inflections on the he. Is there something you aren't telling us?" he asks. He already had deduced that Aren might be a girl based on everybody seeming to call her a she. |
| Aren set Keratani down gently thinking for a moment. Telling someone she was a girl was something she'd never had to tell anyone. Most of her life she'd successfully kept it hidden but these people for some reason just kept picking at the wound. The thought momentarily crossed her mind just to let it out but she couldn't bring herself to completely trust them. She'd only trusted one person in her life that much. But maybe it would just be easier to live the life of a normal girl for once....but that was just ridiculous wasn't it. "No nothing...." she answers simply wanting to be done with it for now, "If I have something to tell you I'll tell you." |

| With all the commotion, there was one person who seemed unabashed within the crowd. A woman with long purple hair who had never looked up from a book. |

| Nata'li just watch on with disinterest as she watched Aren talk. "Well, I came of my own business and it's a good thing I did. And... I wonder what that girl would say, the one you left if you went around punching women? Well if she's alive next time you see her that is." Nata'li walked towards Samerai and bent down. "Samerai, get up now, you need to read the letters my brother sent you. Don't worry, Aren is not after your fiancee. Just a little inconsiderate, they are here to protect you, highness." Nata'li spoke with a skill at diplomacy which one wouldn't gleam from first speaking with her. Already Samerai seemed to be calming down as she held her arm. The Lycan crawled to the discarded ring and picked it up reverantly before slipping it on her thumb so she could keep it close before she looked at the letter. Jaivar was walking over from his position out of a ditch towards Aren. He stopped and spoke in a quiet tone. "I guess trust.... is not for us..." Then he walked away, the first emotion he had shown at all, anger. |
| Aren catches a glimpse of the purple-haired woman as she walked by. There was no mistaking that this person was the one called Spellweaver. |
