If you have time watch the anime it has some of the best ost and score but the pacing can be slow at time. There is coloured version of manga at the pacing is not the issue here, but lacks the impact the anime had.

Ambos tienen sus virtudes y defectos. Te recomiendo leer el manga desde el arco del Shinigami sustituto hasta el arco de los Fullbringers. De ahí pásate al anime, pues Kubo fue presionado a terminar su manga con prisa, por lo que ahora el anime está mejorando muchos aspectos que se quedaron cortos en el manga.
