Back in my day, we had to manually download all our manga which were low quality scans using Comic Sans MS font and often had questionable translations which were sometimes missing all together and we liked it! All of this on dialup to boot! *shakes cane* Seriously people, get over it. These sites are providing a free service and can do whatever the hell they want. If they want to turn it into a Hello Kitty fansite, they can. Find your manga elsewhere and get over your entitlement issues. Oh, I remember these times. It's hard reading a manga, because the feeling of exciting while reading it is almost non-existant, due to the long time it takes to load between pages. If you can, some people would download the whole chapter manually then re-upload in a zip format. Then you can look at each picture page by page, or many wait a couple of years for someone to have a slide show viewing program that allows you to zoom up to read the text of the poor-quality scans. |
