Does anyone know where the whole 'rape/love' thing started? How is rape and sexual abuse treated in Japan? Why are there so many manga's about a guy who rapes a girl and then they fall in love? Especially when the rape seems so violent. Just because she got wet, doesn't mean she's in love, yeeesh I mean, I'm a guy and even I found this insulting to women (...but I must admit, I did get a major hard on, eheh:) |

I dunno about 'so many' and it being some sort of commonplace theme, but it is strange regardless of frequency. But then a lot of H seems to feature reluctant girls who then become total sluts. Very rare you see girls who are actually aroused and willing. >.> |

This mangaka sure loves rape fantasies. It's kind of refreshing that Honey Hunt barely does that. I think it's a matter of the smartest/most beautiful/most athletic dude around taking an interest in ol' mary-sue you and wont take no for an answer. Despite there being so many fans of him. (In shojo's defense, harem does the same thing. Seen DearS or Ichigo 100%?) |

Lol, over a year late to the conversation. I don't condone rape, regardless of the circumstances. His brother could have held him at gunpoint and told him to rape the teacher and in that situation I would say he should let himself be shot to death. So yeah, decent art, Misuzu is adorable, but the two brothers can go fucking burn in hell. |

Well, I'm not from Japan, and I'm sexually dominant, so I never had such fantasies...but my ex boyfriend had fantasies about me "raping" him, so we started role playing, and we both liked it. |
