Emotion ran rampant in her gut and she didn't know why; she had never experienced this before. Change bad; order good. There was only one thing she should do in a situation like this: sever all communication to ensure normality is restored to her routine. "I think I need some help getting up," she said, defying every logical thought in her mind as she extended a hand to him. On the ground it was significantly more apparent how frail she was; her mouth and nose were buried into her knees, her legs pressed against her chest with her free hand as the other extended. Her efforts to hide the bottom half of her face were tactical... she was blushing. |
Alex Antiqua Percentage Unraveled: 0m Looking down at her, she looked perfectly fine, physically. She had a tendency to spring back after going through hardship, or physical stress. As she showed after their argument, pulling herself to her feet after loosing her cane. Judging from this Alex guess that she'd be ok to be able to stand after a few minutes rest. Her puzzled face looking up at his almost made him blush, but he held back. By this point he was thinking back at how he had come to be in this situation with a girl like her. He thought back to their argument, then seeing her being bullied on the roof to now, the two of them with only each other as company. The more he thought about it the more he thought it looked like a date, but he pushed those thoughts to the beck of his mind as he looked back at her, slightly puzzled. It wasn't like her to ask for help, this worried him slightly, maybe something really was wrong. Hiding her face in her knees like this made her look increasingly vulnerable, as if she'd shatter even in the presence of the faintest wind. "Are you sure you're ok Lei?" He asked her. He didn't take her hand, but he kneeled down to her position, trying to get a look at her face. Unsurprisingly, his efforts came unrewarded as he inched closer to Lei. "You didn't strain yourself too much did you?" Concern coming through in his voice, this was only supposed to be a fun experiment, but due to his poor judgement of thinking Lei would be able to handle herself, she could have been injured. This was definitely something Alex did not desire, it was becoming increasingly evident as his hand extended to her shoulder to try bring her out of her state of disarray and back to the current situation. |

| Lei Shirogane He was getting to close; it was making her stomach churn with a sensation unknown to her. To point of her asking for help was to embody her willingness to consider accepting his help every once in a while; at face vaule it seemed to have gone over his head. Regardless, that was not the concern right now, his approach was. Years of rough treatment had conditioned her to fear all approaches, and despite the good intent of his advance, she winced and turned her head away from his hand, as though she was expecting him to slap her. She couldn't stand to look at him after that; it was the ultimate confession of weakness; fear. "No I didn't strai- I'm fine, okay?" She said, hurrying back to her feet despite the pain it caused her. Maybe trying to spend time with people wasn't the best idea in the world. It made her feel more exposed then her weak body ever could. It confused her; he confused her. Lei's sanity is maintained by her ability to make sense of every situation and here she could not. "I think I should go," she said abruptly before turning towards the entrance and approaching it, her steps fortunately much slower than her words. |

Alex Antiqua Percentage Unraveled: 0m Close as he was he could see the distress through her body language, she still covered her face, and placing his hand on her should her could feel how cool she was. She was shaking slightly and it only made Alex's concern more prominent. Turning her head away from him only made him want to approach her more. He was about to tighten his grip on her before she slipped from his grasp, standing. Hearing her voice say she was fine after seeing her condition so closely only made Alex's heart sink, he stayed crouching as she stood over him and he took out some pocky and nibbled on it furiously. He was spacing out and before he knew it she had turned and was nearing the exit. Was this how it would end? Alex sitting here feeling like this as he let his friendship slip away just a quickly as it had started? No. Alex wouldn't just sit here and let another opportunity run from him, just as he had been running for all his life. So for once he would use his one skill, running, for something useful. Springing to his feet he hurried after Lei, she hadn't quite made it to the exit as Alex stepped between her and the door and embracing her once more. He knew that this may be a risk and that he ran the risk of taking another trip to the infirmary. However, if Lei had really changed and wanted Alex's help he wanted to think that this time he wouldn't be stabbed in the leg, or subject to any other tricks Lei may have up her sleeve. While holding his hands around her and pulling her close he spoke quietly to her. "You don't have to run Lei. Weren't you the one who said to me that I couldn't keep running for the rest of my life. This is the same for you, I'm here for you so you don't need to run from me. If you're going to stab me then get it over with, but just knoww that I'm still here for you" He said quietly to her, hints of desperation in his voice as he held onto the fragile frame of the girl and trembling slightly |

After standing rigidly as his hands wrapped around her, she remained motionless for a few moments as she pondered the situation. Maybe he was right or, at least, not completely wrong. "Maybe some day I won't have to," she whispered in response to his comment about her not having to run away. After that her hands copied his motions, wrapping her arms weakly around him. And there it was, the first display of affection she ever showed. She had no idea how long hugs were supposed to last, so she would leave breaking it to him. But that was okay, she concluded, finding Alex to be a safe recipient of her frailty. |

Letting his guard down it was good she didn't reply with something as vicious as her character could usually muster. She owed him that much. After all, she didn't Wat to stab him. She wasn't punishing him; only herself. "You should only act like a gentleman in the presence of a lady. Please let go and then let me go," she said in a tone that could turn water to ice. She clearly wasn't messing around here, and Alex had the wound to prove that sue didn't take these situations lightly. |
Alex Antiqua Percentage Unraveled: 0m Looking directly at her, his face returned to a neutral position, what he had witnessed before his eyes, such a sudden fluctuation of emotions in such a short time. He knew that there was a lot on Lei's mind. No stable human would act in the manner which Lei had displayed today. Alex's expression remained unchanged, blank and lifeless. So this was how it was going to end? Alex thought to himself, still looking into Lei's eyes. Hearing the clicking of the knife she always had on her, he didn't know why, but he knew that it probably wasn't the best idea to continue his advance. Instead he turned, not saying a word. Grabbing some pocky out of the box in his pocket and sticking it in his mouth before pushing open the door. It was useless to try anymore with this girl. Not matter what he did she always found a way to put an end to it, even when help was literally standing right in front of her. Alex wasn't perfect, but he knew for sure that it was probably better than going through it alone. Either way, their time together had expired, it seemed they couldn't go more than an hour or so without one of the two wanting to kill the other, and that's just the way it was. Walking along the pavement, Alex made his way back to the school, maybe he could find someone who wouldn't try kill him this time. |

Kazuki Hanzoku  Kazuki and Kusari walked down to the town, witnessing the sunset passing by and letting the stars show up on the dark night sky. Kazuki talked on an on, not even thinking about shutting up, he talked about everything that would wind up in his sped-up head - about good old days in the orphanage and the funny moments they shared, about the people he met in Tokyo, about some anime he had seen (because back in the orphanage Kazuki acted like a total ass-hat to anime and manga, disregarding them as nerd material) and even said something about Lisbeth, even going so far as confessing that this entire thing he had with her was a mistake done on a whim after getting drunk. He didn't notice how they ended up in the downtown in front of the arcade club. Smiling excitedly, Kazuki opened the door and entered the building. The lights inside were pretty dim, creating sort of a night club atmosphere inside with vocaloid music playing in the background. Arcade machines were everywhere with people in school uniforms crowding the place, relaxing after a long day of studying. Kazuki turned around to face Kusari with his hands placed on his hips to make him look cool and rad, but Kusari would surely know that it's Kazuki's usual act that he did all the time as a joke, then he proceeded to announce: -Here you go, Kusari-chan! A world full of entertainment, everything your tired soul would desire - gaming machines with shooting or racing games, air hockey, all sorts of try your luck machines, Dance Dance Revolution podium and even a karaoke game! Choose any and let us begin having fun! - he sure sounded excited due to his mind re-configuring to let him cope with all the confusion that has been caused in the dorms. |
Kusari Yume  On the way there she and Kazuki talked, and talked, and talked, then just Kazuki talked as she just did the listening. She felt nice to recall all the good times from Kazuki from back at the orphanage, as that made her sometimes even forget all the bad times, then when Kazuki started talking about what he did after he left she just listened with interest, smiling. She could have also told him what she did, but she was sure that Kazuki would have been able to figure that out on his own. When they got to the arcade she look around in awe. That atmosphere, so many things, it was indeed way better than the playroom at the orphanage, so Kazuki was right to bring her here. Seeing his pose Kusari couldnt help but giggle as she knew that cool air was just an act, then after Kazuki asked her what she wanted to do first she took a moment to think before she replied. -Lets go to the karaoke. Id love to hear you sing. she said as she lightly snickered, remembering last time she caught Kazuki singing *cough* in the shower |

Kazuki Hanzoku Kazuki let out a laugh and swiftly grabbed Kusari's hand, dragging her deeper in the arcade hall. Gracefully dodging the abundant gamers in the shooting gallery section, Kazuki managed to get Kusari to the karaoke machine. It was occupied at the moment with some girl singing a weird song in English with depressing lyrics but a happy and cheerful tune, which mixed up surprisingly well. Not paying much attention to it, Kazuki faced Kusari and told her: -We're next in line, so think of a song in the meanwhile. You know that I don't have a taste in music and just always listened to what you were listening, even now I just replay the old tapes on my ancient SDAT player, wahaha~ - then Kazuki took his father's player from the pocket and showed it to Kusari |
Kusari Yume When Kazuki grabbed her hand she somewhat blushed, then while she wasnt paying attention he dragged her after him deeper into the arcade. As they walked, letting herself be guided by her beloved friend, she couldnt help but look around with a smile for things she saw for the first time in her life. So many games, so many happy kids... Like a dream. When they got there there was a girl already using the karaoke, so they had to wait for her to finish. She didnt oay that much attention to the girl as Kazuki started talking, telling her that she has the liberty to choose whatever she wants as he always listened what she chose. Its not like I have some great taste in music, though... she tought, then she saw what Kazuki pulled out of his pocket and she smiled. -Wow, you still have that. It does seem dear to you, as I remember seeing you walk around with it like a lot. she said with a smile, then she realised something that Kazuki said earlier. -Wait a sec, you want us to sing together? she asked to make sure that she heard correctly |

Kazuki Hanzoku Smiling broadly, Kazuki hid his player back in his pocket. Meanwhile, the song that girl singed appeared to get close to a climax as a long vocalize with multiple voices wafted from the karaoke booth, which made Kazuki wonder if she wasn't alone there. In the end he didn't pay much attention to it, rather concentrating on a certain Kusari in front of him, who seemed to be surprised by Kazuki's proposal to sing together. To reply, the boy said: -Yah, sure, why not? These karaoke booths have an option to sing in a duet or to play PvP in a karaoke duel and such. So, which song, chief? - as Kazuki folded his arms on his chest and awaited Kusari's response, the song coming from the booth ended and the green light signified that the next group could come inside, but strangely nobody left the booth. Did it have another exit? |
Kusari Yume -Well then, I guess youre prepared to lose then. she said confidently as she put a hand on her hip. However, she still felt a little embarrassed by the fact that she'll have to sing with Kazuki... After a bit the song ended and the green light came on. However, the ones inside didnt come out, and at first she was confused, but then she came to the logical conclusion that there was another exit. She would tell Kazuki that it is their turn, then she would go inside hopefully followed by Kazuki. Once inside, she would select "Duel Duet", then she took a moment to think. She needed a good song, but what could she do? Looking around for an idea she spotted through the door a calendar on the room's wall. Getting an idea, she gave a sly smile to herself before she turned back to the karaoke machine and selected " Hikaru Nara" by Goose House. -I hope you're ready. she told Kazuki with a smile as she grabbed her microphone, waiting for the song to load. After it would she would prepare for when the lyrics would show up, singing the ones that she had to sing beautifully |

Kazuki Hanzoku Grinning slyly, Kazuki followed Kusari into the booth, preparing to get obliterated since singing wasn't really his profile (other than doing great in studying with little to no effort, Kazuki had no talents). Kazuki glanced over the booth, but to his great surprise there was no other exit. Did the previous group leave without him noticing or were they ghosts? Either way, he didn't care about it that much as he was concentrated on Kusari's choice of a song. Gladly, she chose a song that Kazuki knew well and even tried to sing a couple of times, so this shouldn't be too hard to keep up with her. As Kusari prepared to turn on the song, Kazuki said confidently: -Ha, when I wasn't ready for something? Then the song commenced and the duet of old friends started to sing, giving it their best. Kazuki was having lots of fun doing it with Kusari as it brought good old memories back and through this routine for Japanese students activity, Kazuki was able to open up for the first time in months with the help of a good cheerful song. Kusari was dominating the scoreboard, which came to no surprise to Kazuki, but he didn't care and just enjoyed himself, even giving himself freedom to dance with the microphone, acting like a popular music star. Probably previous statement was false and Kazuki actually had a talent - he acted like it was a second nature to him. In the middle of the song, he even grabbed Kusari's hand and invited her to dance with him as they were singing. His face held the sincerest smile and his eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. |
Kusari Yume Seemed like Kazuki remembered the song, singing natirally with her. She did have the higher score, but that wasnt her objective. She wanted to calm down, she did. She wanted to have a good time, she did... She wanted to make her friend happy, oh she indeed did! Looking at Kazuki, she giggled softly while singing as she saw him dance. He always said to her that he didnt have talent at all, so back then he was either lying, or not knowing his own skills. However, what surprised her most was when he grabbed her hand, like inviting her. At first she blushed lightly, then she smiled and accepted his offer as she smiled brightly and started dancing with him. This felt good, it made her feel happy, remembering the good old times. She did miss him a lot, didnt she? |

Kazuki Hanzoku It sounded like Kazuki's singing has improved when Kusari joined in his stage dance, moving in tact to the song in perfect bond with Kazuki. It went so smoothly, Kazuki even stopped looking up the lyrics as they went out of his mouth by themselves. His heart felt warm, his soul was at ease and his mind was happy - perfect combination for a good evening during a reunion with the best friend. But the bond wasn't as good as Mirraine had hoped, making her sigh and leave the booth in hopes that it was at least a good foundation for Kurisu's plans, and yes, she was there the whole time, but managed to stay unnoticed, cloaked with her AT-field. As the song approached the end, Kazuki swiftly moved behind Kusari's back, spinning her 540 degrees is a fast motion that Kusari probably wouldn't even have time to understand what just happened. In a few moments after the song has ended, Kazuki laughed with all his might. This experience was surely something refreshing. Good times, good feels, nice company and fun activities - that's the life! As he glanced over the scoreboard, it wasn't a big surprise that Kusari won with an S rank while Kazuki had A, which is certainly not bad. -Hah! That was awesome! And we won! - with his broad smile and excited words he tried to hide the fact that he lost, but more than that he wanted to emphasize that even if Kusari won at this game, they both won at having a good time. |
| Luna she giggles and leads Yamato to the arcade. "so what do you think?, nya" she was wondering whether he thought this was a fun place or if it was only herself that thought so "I have been here before but I didn't get to play any games" she looked down as she said that last part |

| Yamato Yamato was excited the moment he saw all the games around the arcade, he remembered someone mentioning this place before but just couldn't remember since he was looking all around him. "This is great! This was exactly the place I wanted to come to" he said with a big smile on his face. "Well this time you'll be able to play" Yamato said to her and this time he pulled her by the hand dragging her towards the nearest game he could find. |
| Luna she blushed a bit when he pulled her to the nearest game. She didn't realize she was blushing as she looked at the game in front of them. she was happy to see the motorcycle game in front of them and she did remember Alice playing it. Luna got on the right motorcycle which was the red and black one. The other one was blue and black "should we race through, tropical land, a desert, a city or icy mountains? those are the options" she says excitedly. |

| Yamato Yamato got on the blue and black motorcycle and grinned, "Let's go with the tropical land" he said and got ready to race. Back in his town there wasn't an arcade, the nearest arcade was in the city so it was not very often that he could play in these places but he always enjoyed it when he would visit them, this time he enjoyed it even more being with a cute girl although he still wasn't sure who she was. |
| Luna She picked the tropical field for them and pressed start. With that, the game started and the count down for the race to begin started. 5...4...3...2...1... RACE START. "ehh??" she pressed and held the start button which was like the engine. her motorcycle began to move and she was racing through a tropical destination. It was all ok until the curves began and she kept bumping into trees and other things. She hisses at the game since she wasn't doing well |

| Yamato He did know how these sorts of games went so once the game started he played it normally as he usually would but once he turned to look over at her he noticed she had no idea what to do to turn and kept bumping against everything. It was a bit funny looking at her hiss at the game, Yamato couldn't help but laugh out "Are you okay there?" he asked. He stood up and walked over to her, "Here, this is how you do it" he explained as he moved her hands to steer the bike. |
| Luna she blushed when he laughed at her for not knowing how to play the game. she was happy when he made her way over to help her. "oh, so that's how you do it! thanks yamato san, you are so nice." she then started to turn properly after yamato showed her how to. but yamato was now in seventh place and Luna was in last place. "sorry, since you came to help me, now your almost in last place." it was the final part of the race |

Kusari Yume She couldnt help but smiled brightly as she was dancing with Kazuki and looking only at him, for a long time actually having a lot of fun. Little moments like this really do have the power to erase big bad moments, and this make Kusari think of how long they havent seen each other, now all seeming like a very short time. Like she last saw him yesterday... Towards the end of the song Kazuki moved behind her and surprised her as he suddenly spun her around, taking her off guard. However, when the song ended she joined Kazuki in the jolly laughter, not even looking at the scoreboard to see what were the results. Kazuki's happinness and hers together were enough for her, actually more than what she could have expected as she smiled brightly. -We should do this again sometime. she told Kazuki happilly |

| Luna The race ended with yamato in second to last place and Luna in last place. "alright then, lets start over! nya~" she said happily since she was now able to fully play the game. "hehe, it would be funny if I win first place after you where the one to teach me" she smirked and looked at him as she giggled a bit. She then presses the bottoms on the game, so that the race could start again. With that, the game started and the count down began 5...4...3...2...1... RACE START. This time around, she knew exactly how to play. she pressed the engine making her move forward. She start moving and she did this at a fast paced. she was able to do the twist and turns by turning her motorcycle in the right direction just like yamato showed her. She was having a lot of fun playing with yamato |

| Yamato "We'll see about that" Yamato said with a laugh as he got ready for the second race. This time when the race started he paid more attention to the girl besides him checking if she was doing okay but surprisingly enough she was doing more than good, she was a really quick learner and was going up in places getting close to his. I won't loose that easily he thought to himself and grinned once again concentrating on keeping his place, he was really having lots of fun, maybe it was because he was a bit competitive in these kind of situations but it was also really fun having someone to play with. |

She did occasionally gaze to her side to see if Yamato was having as much fun as she was. It looked like Yamato was indeed having fun. She had not seen this side of him before. He was being fun and playful, while last time shw saw him, he was laid back and serious. She manages to catch up to him in the game. this time they were side by side, neck to neck with each other. it could be anyone's game but right when there was only one turn left to reach the finish line, she ends up hitting a tree and her motorcycle goes around in circles. It took a while for her to get herself together so he ends up winning first place and she ends up winning second. "this was really fun" She says despite not having won the game |

| Yamato He laughed as he heard her say full speed ahead in such a cheerful way, it was obvious how much fun she was having but this was just the start of it, there where many games left to play together which made him look forward to it. She quickly cought up to him and they where side to side but just a few moments before reaching the goal she hit a tree and ended up in second place. "Yea, I enjoyed myself alot and you almost won there, you're pretty good at this stuff" he said walking up to her and patting her head while having a big smile on his face. |
| Luna She smiles as he pet her head and her cat ears twitch "nyaa" she says as she enjoyed him petting her. "maybe I would have won if it wasn't for that tree that was in my way" she puts a bit but quickly got over it and pointed to the next game. "are we gonna play that game now?" she says as she gets of the motorcycle. The game she was now pointing two was dance mania "I like the music that goes with that game. have you played it before?" she asked while looking into his eyes. |

| Yamato For some reason it already became a habit of his to pet the girls head, maybe it was just because her head seemed so pettable? if thats a word. "Maybe you would've" he said with a chuckle, "Oh dance mania, I've only played it a few times before but I always felt a bit self concious playing it, at least when there's lots of people around" he said while scratching his head embarassed, "Although I will admit I like the music from it as well" he said looking into her eyes, a faint hint of her eyes reminded him again that he did know her but at this point he didn't care that much about finding out who she was, after all he was already having so much fun by just being with her. |
Kazuki Hanzoku -Sure we will, what were you expecting, wahaha~! - said Kazuki with his usual laugh as the duet left the karaoke booth to let the second group in. After the karaoke, Kazuki and Kusari spent quite some time at the Arcade - trying to beat the hell out of each other in racing games, shooters and whatever they could land their hands on until they ran out of the coins. Kazuki didn't cope well with the shooters, losing to Kusari dramatically, but he managed to obliterate her in DDR! That was definitely the most fun he had in years, probably even ever, so all these games were not a test of skill, but rather just fun stuff to do with your old friend. But boy those moves tho... As the two of them were having fun, time ran by in a blink of an eye, so they were faced with 3AM on the clock by the time they realised that they also had to sleep and wake up in the morning (even if there were no classes for some reason). A bit shocked, Kazuki proposed two of them to go to their dorms and get some sleep. They had the whole life before them anyway, so they could do all they wanted some time later. Now it was time to get some rest. |
| Luna She takes his hand and walks over to where the game, dance mania was at. luckily, it seemed like they could both play at the same time. "well, there aren't that many people here, and besides, I think I may not be good at this game either" she says looking at him again. She steps up and gets on the game in the right part of the game "is there any song that you want to dance two?" she says with a smile |

| Yamato Looking around the arcade didn't seem so crowded, "Well I'm kinda looking forward to playing it as well" he said in a low voice. "Let's go with this one" he said as he selected the song and got ready to dance although he wasn't too sure how to do it, he had played this game before and he did enjoy it but he wasn't sure if he was good at it. (It took too much time for me to decide on a song >.<) |
| Luna She smiles as she started to hear the song he selected. She hasn't heard it before but she was liking the song. The game began very soon after the song started. This game seemed pretty simple to her. All she had to do was step on the part that was lighting up. The screen also showed her where she had to step. She started Moving her feet to the rhythm of the music and the pace of the game. She was doing a pretty good job for someone that has never played this game before... then again, she has cat like reflexes "Hey, this is pretty fun" |

| Yamato For a moment Yamato got worried that the girl might also not know how to play this game but quickly enough she started dancing with the song and quite well, she said she didn't get to play any of these games before but it didn't seem that way with how she was dancing at the moment. He also followed the steps shown in the screen although he wasn't as good as her but he could still keep up, this was always enjoyable but really tiring when he jumped from one side to another. "It is isn't it" he said while still dancing, "You're doing pretty good as well." |
| Luna This game didn't really tired her out. I mean she was used to jumping from one place to another quickly. Even as the steps got faster, she was able to keep up. In the end She ended up with 0 mistakes. After the the game was over she smiled and looked into his blue eyes. "can we play again, please. This time I will pick one of my favorite songs" She says to him, hoping he would agree |

| Yamato He was still good to go for another round, at least for now he keep on going so he agreed, "Sure, let's play again" he said as he inserted another coin in the machine and pressed start, "Go ahead, choose the song you want" he said with a smile. |
| Luna "yayyy!" she presses the bottomso and puts the song she wanted to hear and dance too. The steps staring showing up a few seconds after the song started and she started to move body in rythem with the song and the steps shown on the screen. |
