Vector nodded towards Jaegar, still eyeing Scorpion, when he heard Arclight speak. He looked over in the direction of his comrade's voice. "Well, you took your sweet time," he said tersely. "I could have used your aid earlier, but no matter. You are here now." He stood there, waiting to see what Jaegar and Scorpion would do. The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. One wrong move from anyone could end in a bloodbath. |

"If by 'Insurgency' you mean those who wish to change the core of this city, then yes," Arclight replied. After Vector finished his sentence, one of Arclight's minions began to speak up to reprimand the man's impertinance but Arclight swiftly silenced him with a wave of his hand. "I'm sure a man of your skill could have handled this situation without my assistance but nevertheless I offer it," Arclight replied. He then turned towards the other two. "My offer still stands, and I expect you to take it. Unlike the cybernetic man next to you, you seem the type to avoid unnecessary conflict." |

"That is true. Though you are on my list of targets, being apart of the insurgency, you are not my immediate objective." Jaeger stated calmly. "Scorpion. I would advise against this battle. I know of your skillset, as well as the information we have about their troops. However these two appear elite than the others. Engaging them now, while we have absolutely no data on them, would be disadvantageous. And though normally I would assist you, at the current moment I will be unable to as my primary objective takes seniority over eliminating a few insurgents." He suggested to Scorpion. He was afraid or intimidated by these two. If both he and Scorpion fought them, despite their combined skillset, the arrogance of Arclight would probably put them at a disadvantage. However, right now he needed to catch Alisa, who's powers were more valuable than the elimination of them. |

Scorpion simply looked up at the new intruder Arclight and replied monotonely and carrying no expression at all. "Negative, You do not hold the official ranking to command me, warning, this man is pressumed to be under direct control of the rebels, warning, caution is advised." Even though he said that he simply looked up at Arclight. "Jaegar." He said with the first human like tone he had shown. "My mission is to kill the rebels, wherever I find them, and wherever I see the need to heed upon my construction, I was to terminate any threat to the ISG, this man." He pointed his sword towards Arclight not giving a damn about his claim to kingship. "Claims to be a higher standing than the Mayor and as thus, he is a threat..." A threat I will use every shred of my power to destroy." The moment he said this. "As the sword of the mayor of Imanos, I will strike down any threats, that is my reason to exist, and as for my reasoning to do this, I need none." Then his exterior turned back to being expressionless and machine like again. "Moving to terminate." As he said this he took his sword and charged towards Arclight, his thumping steps sounding deeply mechanical but then he suddenly stopped. "I hereby issue command Omega section 3, 4, 8." The moment he said this a hover craft appeared above the position of Jaegar and Scorpion and from the sky dropped down 8 cyber ninjas behind Scorpion, these were only a small force of Scorpion's troops, or personal vanguard, but they were the elite of the cybernetic ninja squadron, they all held cybernetic weapons similar to scorpions and one handed scorpion another sword, so he had two. "Is this your choice of attack Arclight?" |

Jaeger calmly closed his eyes as he listened. "I expected you would say something along those lines. Which is why I advised you, not ordered you or anything of the like." He responded to Scorpion. Besides, even if they managed to hurt Scorpion, he highly doubted that they would be able to capture or kill him. "Then, I will take my leave. If I complete my objectives quickly enough and you are still in combat I will move to assist or send some to assist." He told Scorpion as he stepped off of the building and fell to the ground below. He then started to head after Alisa in the shortcuts. He didn't expect for either of the two men to stop him. Scorpion would probably keep them both busy, and even if the self proclaimed 'king' sent some of his minions to halt Jaeger, they would manage to do very little against him. |

Vector remained silent, watching Jaegar leave. He did not pursue, for he knew they would meet again. He only watched Scorpion and his men silently, waiting to see what either they or Arclight would do. |

Before the battle was to begin, another hover craft appeared, inside it, the high command of the Advisors, the Mayor's Elite Squad, stood. A door slided from the side of the ship and from it, fell the Mayor. As he fell, the wind around trembled and moved away, showing his absolute power. His impact on the ground made some dust move up and the air once more moved away. The tension increased immediatly as he looked up towards Scorpion before looking towards Vector and Arclight. "Stand down, Scorpion. Right now, we have more pressing matters. I believe you have the information on the Time Eraser. Your following orders are to go after her with your squad. Capture her in any way necessary, she is a vital part of our research." The Mayor's cold voice echoed as the Elite Hover Craft stood above them. The Hover Craft was armed and prepared for combat, if necessary, and the Mayor himself was in his battle suit. "While you deal with that problem, I will deal with this city's plague, the Rogue Company. These two will serve as a good spar." He added, looking towards both of them. The Mayor's power was far from most of the Phase Walkers. His energy quickly made the air grow thicker and was light-years ahead of both of his enemies, the only one who could match this power was the Leader of the Rogue Company. |

Vector scratched his head, a bit in irritation.Things just keep getting more complicated, don't they, he thought to himself. We are really moving up on the food chain. And quick. However, if I end the mayor here, then the ISG will be finished. He adjusted his mask, and exhaled deeply. "Come." |

Arclight was fully prepared to destroy the cybernetic ninjas if they attacked but he didn't get the chance as they were pulled back. "A pity," Arclight said. "I had hopes of indoctrinating that man..." Arclight immediately knew that this man was the mayor, there was data on him kept by the researchers who had experimented on him, and so he knew a bit about him; the mayor was indeed much more powerful than him when it came to raw strength and phase energy but that was all. He would be able to hold out against him for a while because once his phase energy was converted to electromagnetic energy, it couldn't be absorbed or canceled out by nullifying powers. Arclight's minions to his sides stood with their guns aimed at the mayor, unflinching. Doing battle here would put his subjects at risk but if he had to, he would fight. "Do you really wish to do this, Mayor of this corrupt establishment we call Imanos?" |

Arthas' eyes were still cold, stoic and penetrating. As he looked towards Arclight, he smirked slightly. "Corrupt... It is funny that you use that word. Within all my years on Imanos, I never allowed corruption to exist. However, a corruption indeed appeared from the darkness. You and your people. You are the corruption that infests this city, like a pest. You call yourself a King, but where's your crown, Mr. Arclight?" Arthas said, having his scythes ready. However, he was still on his human form. He didn't planned to change unless things really got bad. However, it wouldn't come to that if he was to face a few armed soldiers. "Don't worry, I'll try to be clean." Arthas said as his scythes released the thermal energy. In the blink of an eye, Arthas was already slicing and killing the armed soldiers in one slash that grew like a beam. The screams were all that could be heard. As Arthas faced both Arclight and Vector once more, he returned to his cold and serious attitude. He didn't say anything further. |

Rin yawned and stretched behind her computer. She was in a dingy bar at the moment and just completed her latest assignment. She got up and put all of her computers in 3 bags. Her headphones were around her neck as she walked out of the bar. "Now for another job.." She muttered biting a piece of Pocky off. She sighed and walked around carrying all her computers. |

Vector looked over at Arclight. "Convert your energy now. My abilities are not selective, they effect everyone in the area. We need your electric abilities. Without your powers, you'd be useless here." He began channeling his phase energy throughout his body, slowly building up within him. He focused, condensing it inside himself. Vector did not expect to win. Thane had told him of the power of the Mayor, and it was well apparent his skills were far above Vector's own. However, he had done much training with Thane, and as his right hand man, he was a cut above the rest in the Rogue Company. "Let us begin." He said to Arclight. Stepping forward, he approached the Mayor at a walking pace, his sword dragging behind him on the ground... |

Arthas united his scythes, he slowly prepared, standing on battling position. "Come on, then... I want to see how powerful this 'Rogue Company' really is." He said, immediatly aiming his hand towards Vector. He then formed a fist with his hand and, almost immediatly, Vector's Phase Energy was overridden. He wouldn't be able to use his powers for some minutes. However, Arthas did not advanced, he awaited for his enemies to make the first move. Even though Overriding someone made no physical damage, damaging someone's powers would immediatly damage the body for a few seconds. |

Vector stopped walking. He looked down at his hand. His vision blurred for a second. The wave of energy he had just felt had shaken him, but he seemed okay. He instantly noticed the lack of energy within him. It was there, but it felt...chained down. It had stopped growing, and seemed dormant. He felt the pain throughout his body, but ignored it. He had felt worse. "So, this is the power of the infamous..Mayor." He began to run towards him, pulling out some explosives from his pouches on his suit. he threw three smoke grenades on the ground in different areas, exploding and filling the air with smoke, concealing him within it. |

Arthas rotated his scythe, causing the smoke to clear around him, leaving the area around him clear to see. The area was big, big enough for him not to receive a surprise attack. "Come on... Is that all you can do? I was expecting a lot more..." Arthas said as he closed his eyes, paying attention to the sound around him. A footstep. That was enough for him to send his scythe's thermal blade inches away from Vector's nose. The temperature of the blade was enough to make him feel the heat in his nose, as if it was burning hot. "Next time, I'm not going to be so gentle." He added with a cold tone, having his seriousness presented. By now, Vector should have noticed that his spars with Than were only a small fun for Thane, who was never taking it seriously. |

Vector knew he was outmatched. His attempts at testing Arthas had proven much. He knew now that he would not be able to take him alone. An old part of Vectors soul flared inside him, for it had been many years since he had found someone that was better than him, apart from Thane. "Well, then. Mayor, I am not afraid to admit I am in no way able to defeat you. I know when I am outmatched. Therefore, we will have to schedule our match for another time. You truly are a worthy opponent." He smiled behind his mask. Vector placed a block of C-4 on the roof he and Arthas were standing on. "So long, eh?" The roof exploded, causing the entire building to collapse in pieces. When the dust cleared, Vector had vanished. |

When the C4 was placed on the ground, the hover craft above both of them sent a small rope towards Arthas, who picked it up and awaited for Vector's goobies. "Next time, I will destroy you." Arthas said before he was pulled from the explosion. As he did so, he looked towards the big, standing explosion, that made him think on how was his daughter. Though nobody knew about her existence, Arthas loved his daughter more than anyone in this world. However, these thoughts consumed him and he quickly got rid of them. |

When Arthas unleashed the thermal wave at him, Arclight's minions were unfortunately caught in the wave and cut down, though Arclight himself was nowhere to be found. What had been "hit" was only an image of him which he had made by bending light with his electromagnetic field. As Vector did battle with the mayor, Arclight looked down at his fallen subjects with pity, though it almost approached sadness. "If there were a god, I would pray to it for both your sakes..." Arclight commented. In Arclight's eyes, the mayor was insane and had just contradicted himself, he needed to be stopped before he caused more death and destruction. Shortly after the building's roof collapsed and after he had grabbed the rope, the mayor felt an extremely strong magnetic force on him, as if the gravity around him was increased by five-fold. "This 'pest' you speak of has improved the quality of life in these slums and a king does not need a crown so long as he is loved and respected by his subjects," came Arclight's voice projected from the speakers of the hovercraft that the mayor came in. Arclight himself was nowhere to be found and the guns on the hovercraft were aimed right at the mayor. "I have complete control of this craft and your men are trapped inside. If you care for their lives I advise that you take your leave from my territory. Once you agree, I will release the field around you and I shall return your craft and people to you unharmed, though only when you are out of my territory." |

Arthas' kept his emotionless and blank expression. Though the gravity was a lot stronger than normal, he felt almost nothing. That was one of the differences between Arthas and most of the Phase Walkers. He was the strongest of all of them. The only person who could match him was Thane and, though many said that it was a lie, this was proven by Arthas' next move. Arthas smirked as he finished hearing what Arclight had said. With a quick movement, he jumped out of the hover craft. As he jumped, he was envolved by a ball of darkness that quickly dissipated as he fell on the ground. However, Arthas was not the same anymore. He was now fully transformed. Two wings spread from his back and his thermal scythes had a green light that seemed more like venom. The scythes had changed greatly, they looked like two thermal hooks. "You kill them, I will destroy everything you can see." He said as the green light of the Thermal Scythes expanded, making them look like two giant swords, ready to slash the entire Slums in two. It was a bluff, Arthas could not destroy the entire location since it was also his city, his people. However, he hoped that, since they seemed to think differently of the Mayor, he would believe in his bluff and release his hover craft. "If you release them now, we end this and I go away, leaving your kingdom intact. However, if you do kill them, I will destroy this entire location of the Citadel." He added, having the scythes ready. |

Arclight immediately knew that the mayor was bluffing. The man may have been somewhat insane but even he wouldn't murder hundreds of thousands of innocents and despite how powerful he seemed, he couldn't destroy an entire district fast enough not to incur the rage of its populace- no one man was that powerful. "Very well, I shall release them," came Arclight's voice from the hovercraft's speakers, utterly impassive. "Your men should now have control over the craft. I advise you to leave here immediately." |

As soon as the craft was released, they quickly made their way out of the Slums and went back towards the Citadel. However, Arthas had no intentions of leaving. Instead, he wore a black robe that was with him all the time. The robe was not dintinctive these days since many people used them. Arthas then made his way down the building by jumping down on a isolated location. His wings had disappeared and so so did the utter difference on his appearence. As he did so, he walked through the slums, alone. "I know you're seeing me, Arclight. Why don't stop this stupid game and show yourself?" Arthas said, knowing that Arclight still had his eyes on him. Even though he said that, he kept on walking, not giving attention to the people around him. He had his aim settled on the center of the city. He wanted to search for his daughter, who was now on hold of the Insurgency. |

Arclight watched the craft leave but knew very well that Arthas had not. Even if the mayor wore that black robe, Arclight had eyes and ears everywhere and now Arthas was under their constant watch. In reality, Arclight didn't really care if the mayor lived or died, he just wanted the mayor out of office or to instill some radically different policies. With people in rebellion to the system, maybe the ones in charge would change their ways, though such an act was doubtful to happen at best. In either case, he had gathered some useful data from that battle and could now identify the mayor based off his electromagnetic signature alone, though only with the right instruments or when in close proximity to him. Of course, he didn't plan on getting close enough to him to identify him with his own powers in the first place. The mayor seemed like he was searching for something but for what was the question. "Now, what are you looking for, I wonder?" Arclight wondered aloud as he observed the mayor's movements though a variety of monitors somewhere safe and far away. |

As he walked through the streets of the slums, Arthas kept an eye out, looking for anything that seemed like it was part of the Insurgency. If they had his daughter, they would place her somewhere safe so that she wasn't hurt nor attacked while in their hold. She was valuable after all. Though no one knew that she was his daughter, they probably still found her a valuable asset due to her powers. Arthas' steps were calm and silent. When Arthas finally reached the center of the market, he stopped walking amidst many people. The flow kept on going and everyone else followed their ways, while that, Arthas placed an almost invisble plastic-made item that would check the underground for vital signs. Aside from that, his hackers were now tracking Arclight's location silently. Not even a radio signature was shown for that. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Arclight looked towards the Mayor in his many monitors, one of them disabled its vision and, in it, materialized the Virtual Appearence of Mira. "Why, hello, Arclight. How are you holding up? Well, I don't think it really matters anyway. I'm just here to give you these files. These were confidential informations I found on a cyborg from the ISG. His codename was Scorpion. Since I have my hands full with tracking off the Phase Lab's location right now, I wanted you to analyse them and send the important files to Thane, are you okay with that?" Mira explained and ended up with a simple question. As always, her impatient and squishy nature was astonishing, she always tried to finish things quickly so that she could get away even quicker. |

Somewhere on the other side of the Slums, an old run down restaurant erupted into a ball of white flame. Hordes of people were running every which way, screaming and panicking at the sudden disaster. From the smoldering fire, a body pushed himself out of the rubble. "Ugh. Ridiculous. Ridiculous I say. Where am I supposed to get Chinese food now? Sheesh. Pointing a gun at me the moment I enter in." Arson grumbled, dusting himself off. "Stupid cook. I mean so what if I killed your daughter a couple years ago? People around here really hold grudges." As Arson left the smoldering wreckage, the fire went out. His body was always unconsciously absorbing heat, and everything he passed by became ice cold. Fires went out, Vehicle engines froze, plants began to die, and the ground began to frost. He stopped for a second, inhaling the air deeply. "Ugh, what a scent. Isn't the breathe of freedom supposed to taste good? Here it tastes like ash." He looked back at the once burning mess that was now just a pile of black soot. "Oh yeah, no wonder," he reminded himself, chuckling. Arson had broken out of an ISG detention facility a couple days ago and had vanished, nowhere to be found. ISG members, bounty hunters, local authorities, the Rogue Company, and pretty much everyone else had searched for him, but to no avail. Now he had reappeared, and was back on the move again. "Well, the world is my playground, and i think it's time to have some fun!" A smile crept across his face. |

Arclight didn't even bother to turn towards the Mira's Virtual Appearance when he replied and instead chose to look over the files. "Yes, I met the cyborg just not too long ago, he would be an interesting addition to our ranks..." When Mira mentioned delivering the data to Thane, he frowned. "With confidential information such as this, I'll have to give it to him in person since no one else could be trusted with it... I dislike being around that man almost as much as you do, though for a very different reason: my field always goes haywire when he's around. I'll only do it because I am the only one who is trustworthy and skilled enough to do so but remember in the future that I am not some simple errand boy for which to send on medial tasks, girl." |

"I am not different, my decoders go crazy whenever I'm talking to him. Not to mention that sometimes my entire systems fade. Standing near that man is kind of dangerous it seems." Mira's eyes stayed with the same seriousness it had. "You consider taking secret files that can expose weaknesses on the ISG's Command Center to someone who can then launch an attack that will uplift your empire something... medial?" Mira said, having her expressions in a sarcastic scowl. Mira then turned herself towards the monitor that was showing Arthas' position. She scowled further, having a even more serious expression on her face. "Why are you tracking the Mayor? And what's he doing on the Slums?" She questioned to Arclight. |

"Then we share common dislike for being around that man," Arclight said as he finished browsing through the files. "The act of delivery itself is medial and can be done by any body smart enough not to get lost, knowledge of the package is not required to get the delivery to its destination. In this case, the contents of the package just happen to be very important. In either case, sifting through the data will take time but will get done." "My lord, I apologize for interrupting your conversation but, it appears that Arson has showed back up and is causing chaos and destruction once more in your territory," one of Arclight's men said. "Vector seems to be leading a strike team to confront him now." "Send a squad of ten men to assist his team," Arclight replied. "I do not have time to waste on that man." "Right away, milord," the man relpied. Arclight turned his attention back towards Mira. "The mayor thought he could slip past my view after our little encounter but more importantly, he seems to be searching for something or someone, though who or what remains to be seen." |

"Light it up!" Arson yelled as he threw a barrage of fireballs in all directions. Buildings, people, vehicles; everything was catching fire. "hahahah!" Arson laughed maniacally. "'This is so much FUN!" He continued on his rampage throughout the slums. Soon a large section of the Slums was engulfed in flames. |

Looking to the area in flames, Arthas growled with a scowl. This man... Arson Red, was always in the ISG's way. He was a maniac that simply did not went to prison because he always ran away. The ISG was starting to get annoyed. Arthas was the only ISG member present in the Slums. Before Arson was able to flame up another area, a huge flash of light went in his direction. The flash of light carried a strong venom and it shone a green light as it went to his direction. The attack was easy to evade and the person who had sent was pretty obvious. As Arson evaded the attack and looked towards the attacker, Arthas, wearing a completely black robe, stood. He looked towards Arson and did not said a word. However, his attack clearly meant a challenge. |

Being an able body, Thane was walking towards this fire, his face was not wearing his usual smile or a gentle expression, this one was one of pure hatred and anger, this much destruction, was it really that nessecary?, and as he thought that, clouds began gathering over Imanos and rained down on the fire, calming down the fire, this was not wether control, but it was still Thane's ability to become lucky at the times of need, he was pissed, but as he saw Arthas there, he simply justed moved into an alley, hiding any presence he had, and kept the rain going, so the fire was weakened as much as possible before eventually going out, he then in disapeared in the alleyway, and soon she appeared behind Arson, out of nowhere!, her strength was monsterous, and she grabbed Arson's face and threw him down onto the street near Arthas, so hard that his body created a small crater on the ground, the girl was extremely pale almost to the point of being completely white, wearing a black top, revealing her belly, and a black skirt, her eyes was blue, she had two strands of thick hair running down her back turning from completely black to white, into emitting a ball of white flames at the end of each strand, but Thane, he was nowhere to be seen, or sensed, he was already on his way back to the headquarters, he could control his powers from there, when he would look up all he would see was Arthas, and the girl simply crossed her arms while scowling at them both. |

Arson laughed. He picked himself up, as if nothing had happened. "Haha! This is what you bring before me? Children?" He smirked, looking over and noticing Arthas. "Ah, so the big dog arrives." He laughed maniacally. He released a circle of fireballs in different directions, each one going down a different street and disappearing. He had enhanced their strength, so they would not be going out any time soon. He smiled up at Arthas. "So, are you here to take me back to the detention facility?" Arson asked. At the same moment, a red dot appeared on Arson's forehead. A second appeared on his back. Then a third. A fourth. Soon his body was covered in red dots, tracers from rifles aimed at him. Vector stepped out of the shadows, accompanied by a horde of armed men. "I don't believe he's taking you anywhere. I have orders to kill you. And that is exactly what I will do." He ignored Arthas completely. His focus was set on Arson. "Oh, Vector. You over dramatic old fool. You have learned nothing from our previous encounters, have you? Besides, can't you see I'm already visiting with an old friend?" He motioned to Arthas. He sighed heavily. "You really lack manners for an old man. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to reteach it to you..BY BURNING IT INTO YOUR SKULL!" |

Arthas' blank expression did not changed as he saw Arson being pummeled by someone he already met... A long time ago. His eyes settled on the girl... Ayeesha. "This day just gets more and more painful. Come on, Arson, I don't want to kill you. At least not now. And you, fall back, now. Arson is in my blacklist and I'm taking him home with me." Arthas said, taking off the robe he was wearing. What it revealed was actually Arthas' full transformation. With the horns, the wings and even with the fully green thermal blades. Arthas was not going to just play this time. He was serious about taking Arson with him and if anyone stood in his way, he would massacre them. The determination on his eyes were unmistakeable. That was Arthas serious. "You're coming for good, Arson, or do you I need to show you the way?" He questioned, his voice being much darker and deeper than before. This time, Arthas was very serious. His aura of Phase Energy could be seen in the thin air. A dark, powerful aura that looked like a demon's aura. |

Arson's smile disappeared. He knew Arthas was serious. He looked over at Vector, smiling sadly. "Sorry Vec, but my death will have to wait for another day. And y'know, you better do what he says." He pointed his thumb at Arthas. "I wouldn't want you to get killed before our showdown, would I? And besides....you are family.." He smiled slyly. Vector knew what Arson was talking about, and it annoyed him. "You are no family of mine, Red." He scowled, ready to fight. Arson smiled. A genuine, happy smile. It looked almost friendly, even innocent. "Don't hate me for this, Vector. I'm saving your life." Suddenly, one of the white fireballs that Arson had released earlier came around the corner, stopping right in front of Vector's face. "Blasted." The fireball expanded and exploding point blank in Vector's face, sending him and his men reeling off the building and to the ground below, where two more fireballs waited. "Branded." They exploded the moment Vector and his men crashed into the ground, destroying the nearby buildings and burying them all in a massive pile of rubble. "And buried." Arson turned back to Arthas. He could escape in a millisecond, but he chose not to. He was curious about what Arthas' plan's might be. He looked back at the rubble. "Fine. Let's go." |

He moment Arson turned his back towards Vector and said "Let's go." A bright blue shape could be seen potruding from Arson's chest, it had pierced all the way through and stuck in the ground through Arson's back, the girl spoke in a what resembled a lullaby. "Arson the Red, was burning the slums, when he seemed to be going away, The Master of luck, the enemy of light, Master Thane said, No way, and as thus Arson the Red was impaled, for killing free men with fire he held, he will now die, like the men he felled, and thats the story of Arson the Red." The tone seemed happy and Arthas knew, when Ayeesha started singing this way, Thane meant business, and Thane that had turned around the moment he sensed Arthas powers released, stood beside Ayeesha. "Sorry Arthas, Arson is going to die here, and I wont have you interfering." Then he planted a hand on Ayeesha's shoulder, ready to fuse in a moments notice. "Every person that Arson has killed, it is your duty to give them justice, you wont, then I guess its up to me, and I will do what you as the Mayor seem not able to." Thane wasnt happy, or gentle for the matter, his tone, his entire being was extremely pissed off, and at this state even Arthas knew that Thane would be very dangerous. |

Blood spilled out of Arson's mouth. "B-Blast it. I had finally attained...F-freedom." He looked over at Thane and Ayeesha. "S-sorry."He smiled weakly as his vision began to blur. "But, I won't lose here!" He activated his ability, Flame Teleport. Instantly his body conformed into a ball of fire, burning brightly, then vanishedinto thin air. The fireballs he had sent out when he first encountered Arthas had been a fallback plan in case of something like this. _________________________________________________ Buried under the rubble, Vector was unconscious. The point blank explosion had destroyed his mask, badly burning his face and leaving him severely injured. He had used his nullification abilities to protect his comrades from the explosion and had instead taken the full force of the explosion upon himself. The agents that came with him were already clambering out of the rubble, unharmed. |

A smirk appeared on Arthas' face. "I cannot take someone's life, Ayeesha. Neither can you..." Arthas voice was soft, deep and dark, just like the aura of strength that was envolving him. The two thermal blades on his hands shone a bright red light. Arthas then pointed his finger towards Ayeesha and, in the blink of an eye, the girl disappeared. This was Arthas' special abillity, overdriving his enemies' skills. Without Ayeesha, Thane was useless. Rotating his scythes, Arthas' eyes shone brightly. "Justice shall be done, but not today. Today is the day where your life will be taken..." Arthas said as his thermal scythes expanded and, with a swing, a huge blast of Phase Energy was sent on Thane's direction. Without Ayeesha to give him the powers necessary, Thane would most likely be engulfed in the huge splash of energy, had it not suddenly disappeared. In its place, a clock stood. Slowly rotating. "That's enough, Papa." Alisa said, coming out of the shadows. She steadily walked towards Arthas. "Leave them alone... I'll go with you." She said, having her voice muffled. She was a lot quieter than normal. However, she still had a smile on her face. Slowly, she walked towards her father and stood by his side. "We'll talk about this later..." Arthas told her as he turned away from Thane and, in about seconds, millitary hover crafts had arrived. Thane had lost his powers for the moment, he wouldn't be able to use them for a few minutes. Arthas glanced back before a hover craft steadily catched his daughter and sent her inside as he looked back, to talk with Thane. "This is not the day to solve this, Thane. I promise that, when the day comes, I will kill you..." Arthas said, walking into a hover craft that looked more like a millitary ship. The ship itself was almost gigantic. So big that it was almost 3 times the size of a normal ship. That was the Galatica, a ship that Arthas himself used when he was to battles. Taking his time, Arthas then went in search of Arson. He had to find Arson and bring him back to the prison. The fastest way to do that was to search for high temperatures in the city. The highest temperature was Arson, since he had the skill to absorb heat from an area. |

His powers had only seemingly disapeared, because the moment Arthas had moved, Thane showed no mercy, and he simply smiled, the moment right before Arthas finger reached her, Ayeesha disapeared, seemingly by Arthas' finger, but in truth this was Ayeesha's teleportation, and she appeared for a split second and severed Arthas' hand from the wrist in a lightning speed motion, but this was only a minor injury, the moment Thane knew the truth about Alisa, who had appeared out of nowhere his objective changed from killing Arson to capture Alisa, and in this Ayeesha's link to Thane spotted, so the moment he thought this Ayeesha grabbed Alisa, and teleported to Thane, and then touching Thane, fusing their bodies together, now he was standing a young pale black haired version of Thane, with blue eyes black angel wings, like the fallen angels of old religion way before Imanos, he took Alisa's shoulder teleported to Vector and touched Vector, all this was hard to keep track of even with Arthas eyes his powers had seemingly locked Thane's so after 30 seconds this had already happened, even though Arthas was fast, he was not fast enough to get a fix on Thane, and as thus this took him off guard, Thane was not just a push over that Arthas could point at and lock his powers, (As written in the description.) Thanes powers could not be locked due the fact that his powers had a will of its own, and then Thane simply smiled coldly at Arthas, who had already boarded his Galatica ship, and in one more second, all 3 of them were gone, back at the safehouse. (NOW how do you like dem apples Arthas?) |

Arthas was left without words. What Thane had just done was something that was far from his comprehension. He still tried to move towards Thane but it was all in vain, Thane was already gone. With a grasp on his hand, Arthas gritted his teeth. He controled his anger by breathing deeply and looking towards the Galatica. He slowly walked towards it, with steady steps. When he was finally inside it, he turned towards the man who was in charge. "Find Arson... Now." His voice carried slight anger, hatred. In truth, Arthas was burning in hate right now. Vengeance was all that he could think of in the moment. It was only after a few minutes that he noticed his severed hand, bleeding heavily. They quickly went towards Arthas to take care of the wound and so they did. Arthas had just lost his hand. This made him even more angry. Arthas would not allow this to keep going anymore. This time, he was going to end with the Rogue Company's existance. "Find Arson... Bring him to me." Arthas said in a cold, hateful tone. His soldiers did exactly as he asked and, in a few seconds, they had already located Arson. It was quite easy to locate someone who could drain the temperature from a location towards him, making his appearence very obvious. The ship quickly travelled to that location. Steadily, it made its way towards the center of the Slums. The speakers of the ship, that was completely imune to any kind of Phase Energy Attack or Eletrical Attack, blurted out Arthas sudden and angered words. "Every man and woman in the Slums has twenty-four hours to bring me the head of the leader of the Insurgency. The reward is ten million golden coins. If the leader is not found in the next twenty-four hours, the Slums will stay in quarentine." Arthas said in a serious and cold tone. Every man and woman of the Slums looked upwards, with their heads tilted quizzically while others understood it perfectly. In a time like this, ten million golden coins meant a fortune for the rest of your generation. Arthas was not going to save anything anymore. This time, he was going to destroy Thane and everyone else who protects him. |

Arclight heard the announcement that the enraged Arthas made loud and clear though the speakers as if he had been there himself. "Quarantine?!" Arclight laughed mockingly. "Does that fool really think that will be a punishment for these people? Do they really think that these people simply leave the slums whenever they please? Nevertheless, the money offer will definitely be enticing to some but a mob of desperate fools will never be enough even touch that man and the mayor knows this." "This quarantine will probably increase public discontent with the mayor and would probably also increase sympathy towards our cause, my lord," one of the techs in the room said. "Naturally," Arclight replied. "This quarantine will probably include a greater military presence as well which will almost certainly lead to greater oppression of the citizenry here. This shall prove interesting, let us see how this plays out." |

As Arthas walked out of the Galatica, he made his way to a small hover craft. As he did so, he stopped mid-way and talked to a man that was on the door. "Call for Upton. I want her here in the next twenty minutes. Tell her that she has permission level five, meaning that she can do whatever she needs to do to find the leader of the insurgency. The populace of the Slums are already corrupted... There's not much we can do to save them." Arthas said to the man, who quickly called for another soldier to go and find Upton and bring her to the Galatica. Arthas then activated the private hover craft and went out of the Galatica and towards the Citadel, where he was planning to find Arson and finish his fun once and for all. |

Nancy sat slouched over the counter of one of the more seedy nightclubs. The constant thumping of the metallic music made her cringe, but this was the place where the rebels most frequently visited in their down time. She never was one for taking orders, she wanted to be the one who caught Thane, and she would be. Although the lights were a dim red, her figure was unmistakeable, she had attracted several drunken slobs that night, but thus far none of them were rebels, and she needed a rebel to squeeze Thane's location out of. With a gloomy sigh she swirled the glass in her hand and looked around, not only did she have to find Thane, she had to find him before the tin head did. |

Rin walked into the bar and noticed Nancy first. She snickered as she saw a bunch of drunk guys hitting on Nancy. 'Sucks to be her.' She thought sitting at a table towards the back. She pulled out her computers and started them up. Once they were warmed up she began to hack into all the cameras in the city. On another computer she resumed her research on Thane. |

The fact of the matter was that Thane was actually already in the exact night club Nancy was at, but he was further inside the night club, every time he was here, he was always in the vip area, though he was not here to party, he just liked the thumping music that seemed to be in a wholly other room, he liked the atmosphere, in this nightclub that was all the reason he needed to be here, though now that he thought about it maybe that was a little bit eccentric... But what the hell, he just sat back in the chair relaxing with closed eyes, he was sitting alone, believe it or not this was one of the few places Thane actually felt at ease due to him being able to be alone, which was something Thane liked, all that leader of the insurgency, and the enemy of the Imanos peace lovers was not known here, and this put him at a slight ease, he could be who he wanted to be, with no responsibilities, even Thane couldnt say no to that temptation, no cameras or nothing in his room, he just sat there alone. |

Before Rin was able to continue her hacking, something happened to her computers. Without a minute to waste, all of them started to be disabled. Rin's files suddenly started to be mercilessly deleted aand all that was happening in mere seconds. Mira was acting to protect the Rogue Company. In less than two minutes, all the files would be deleted and Rin's computers would blow up, finishing all data she had on the Thane or the Rogue Company. |

Rin sighed and closed her eyes. She left her computers, she knew someone was messing with her, but she didn't mind. She liked challenges. Rin got up with the last computer and let her phase energy take over. Still holding her computer, she got up and went deeper into the club, but walked past Thane. She sat down on a chair and rapidly started typing in codes that would allow her a little more access to the ISG data base. Once she snapped out of it, she had access to 1 more file. She opened it and sighed in frustration when it was on a recent ambush she already knew about. Rin sighed and took out a box of Pocky to on. |

"Then how about we go somewhere a little more... private?" Nancy took the young man's hand and led him towards the bathrooms. The door of the stall shook in a slightly increasing tempo and soft moaning could be heard. "Get a room you two!" A man shouted from outside the stall, deducing that the pair were engaged in coitus. Inside the cubicle, Nancy slammed the man's head against the wall again, a large gritty sanguine stain marked the area where she hit him off, the same shade ran down his head. "So bloody useless." With a roll of her eyes she smacked his head against the wood one more time before his consciousness fled him. Deducing that half the people in the bar probably knew her face, she decided to relieve him of his clothes. Nancy looked at herself in the mirror of the bathroom as she finished straightening her new clothes. She donned a worn sage jacket with black pants, an orange scarf and a matching sage cap the brim of which was pulled down over her eyes. Leaving the restroom, she headed straight for the VIP section, hoping to find a higher ranking rebel who would actually know Thane's location. She hoped the VIP part wasn't heavily enforced. |

As she figured this bar wasnt really that heavily guarded and the guard was already distracted by a girl seemingly flirting with him, but as she passed by she would come across alot of rooms and each room having a party inside them by several people, or be empty, untill she came across Thane's room, his face couldnt at first be seen, as his head was tilted backwards over the couch, while he was relaxing on the couch, then he readjusted himself, and lied down on the couch, resting his head against his fist, his fist right underneath the right side of his jaw, his eyes was closed, and he didnt see her, but it was strange to see a man in a VIP room, all alone, atleast, even though Thane was on the later part of thirty he was a handsome man, if you looked for that, but what was strange was the fact that he was alone. |

Rin got up and saw Nancy again. She walked over to her. "Whatcha doin here? I wouldn't expect just a regular human here doim dirty work.. But then again you're probably the only woman in the ISG. Am I right?" Rin questioned hugging her computer close to her. "Oh. My name is Rin by the way. Jaeger took me in, but he's gone and it's boring without him or his guards." She said biting a piece of pocky in half. |

As Thane rested, the curtains for his VIP area, that was remotely controled, was suddenly closed. Mira was the one responsible for that. She knew about Arthas' plans and she had secret cameras placed all over the club. Silently, the Virtual Appearence surfaced on Thane's visor. "Thane, if you can hear me, there's someone after you. I figured who it was because of her actions. The person who's after you is known as Nancy Black. I had a few data over her. She's a dangerous person. Don't worry, she doesn't know you in person. Be careful over there." She told him, her voice was carrying slight worry. Mira was serious almost all times, but she showed, in rare cases, that she cared for the people who she helped. |
