| Masaru woke up eventually and yawned. "How long did I sleep for?" He asked looking at his phone. "Not that long it seems... Damn it Zero..." Masaru said getting a little anxious. He looks around and notices that Grace wasn't present. He sighed. "She better not have fallen in that lake again..." |

| Grace walked in through the back door giggling and let Cerberus in. In his mouth, was a ball which he dropped so he could grab a stuffed duck gently in his massive jaws. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Grace? That you?" Masaru asked looking back. "You didn't fall into the lake again, did you?" He said to tease her. |

| "Not this time," Grace giggled. "I got lost out on the property though," she smiled. "The land is beautiful. You should go sometime before we leave." |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Maybe after the Kira's are dead..." Masaru said without emotion. "I don't like this... Zero should have called by now..." |

| Grace frowned. "Perhaps he can't get away. He is at a wedding you know." |

| "He should have had some time while they were getting ready. And if doesn't call we'll lose the best chance we have at killing them." Masaru said coldly. |

| Grace sighed and sat down. "If that happens, we can keep going." |

| "I don't like taking chances, next time it could a much higher threat." Masaru said. |

| Grace smiled softly. "Want a back rub?" |

| "If you think it'll help..." Masaru sighed. |

| Grace smiled and started massaging his shoulders and neck. |

| Masaru had never had a massage before. He didn't think they did anything. However he was proved wrong now. To his surprise it actually felt pretty good and was taking away some of his stress. He just sat there and enjoyed the massage silently. |

| Quietly, Grace worked the kinks out of his neck and shoulders. She was glad she could at least help allieviate some of Masaru's stress. He was always thinking about something and he needed to relax every once in awhile. |

| Masaru closed his eyes, continuing to enjoy the massage. "I didn't think that a massage would actually help." |

| "You're tense," Grace said quietly. "Probably because of the bad mattress and all this Kira business. After this, I'll switch beds so your back won't be so knotted." |

| "It's not that bad, I've slept in worse. I'm not that wealthy, or wealthy at all." Masaru said calmly. "But I'm glad you care enough that you would offer to." |

| Grace smiled. "I usually sleep on dirty concrete, but you need to get some rest. This case has been rough on you." |

| Masaru looked back at her. "Are you serious?" He asked, showing a hint of worry. |

| Grace paused. "Serious about what?" |

| "Sleeping on concrete." Masaru said continuing to look at her. "I was always poor, but I never went through anything like that." |

| Grace smiled. "No one knows I exist remember? I live under a warehouse with my technical equipment, a suitcase of belongings and my dog." |

| Masaru sighed. "That must be hard... You should probably be getting a massage, not me." He said blankly. |

| "All in a days work," Grace chuckled. "I must admit, it does get rather lonely. I usually only see daylight one or twice a month at most." |

| "You should come visit once and a while then." Masaru sighed. "The place I live is full of morons and gangsters. Only people there I like are my little sister and Kage." |

| Grace smirked. "I have to buy a house if I'm adopting," she said quietly. |

| "Oh, right. I forgot you were planning on doing that." Masaru said. "Well, that's good. At least you have a plan. I'm still lost on what to do after I get tired of all this." |

| "I thought you were going to Alaska," Grace teased. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Oh, ha ha." Masaru responded in a sarcastic tone. "And are you sure you don't want to try out comedy?" |

| "I'm positive," Grace flicked his head lightly. "Take your sister somewhere nice." |

| "I will when I go back. Least I can do after making her worry." Masaru said sighing. |
|
| "She doesn't cook, does she?" Grace smiled. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Yes... She does..." Masaru sighed. "Luckily for me, she doesn't take out her nerves on the cookbook. Otherwise I could be the greatest detective in the world and even then I'd never be able to pay for all that." |

| Grace smirked and stared at the wall. She unconsciously began massaging his arms and chest as well as getting to his lower back. She was--of course--busy thinking of a girl that would be a perfect match for him. |

| "You could also be a masseuse." Masaru said, actually relaxing for once. "You're really good at it." |

| "I'm just doing what I'd want done," Geace smiled. She looked down and blushed, going back to his shoulders instantly. |

| "Also... Thanks..." Masaru said quietly. "I've been cautious of others for a really long time... It's nice to have someone else I know I can trust..." |

| Grace smile. "Same here. You're the first guy to know I ever even existed." |

| "Well, I guess you're going to have to exist when you adopt a kid and buy a house." Masaru said calmly. "I guess that makes me special, knowing you before you existed." |

| Grace smiled. "When you put it that way, adoption seems taboo. I couldn't live the right way for a kid. I'm too socially handicapped." |

| "Please, Grace." Masaru rolled his eyes. "When I was a teenager everyone was either afraid of me or picked fights with me. If you existed you'd probably be that person everyone approached." |

| "Oh my," Grace sneered playfully. "Was that a compliment from the big mean Mr. Masaru?" |

| "I'm simply speaking the truth. You can speak with people just fine. I can't without taking into consideration that they might be a threat." Masaru said shrugging. |

| "Well, I've been watching you for a year, so I knew you were trustworthy," Grace smirked. |

| "Wait... What reason would you have for watching me? After I was transferred to work on the Kira case I understand. But before I was just a no name detective." Masaru asked narrowing his eyes at her. |

| "I thought your work was...interesting. I also found out you had a Death Note," Grace said turning him so he was facing away. She leaded his head back against her abdomen as started working his neck. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru sighed. "Then I'm guessing you know why the only gangsters where I live are stupid teenagers who think it makes them badass?" He asked quietly. |

| Grace nodded and gently massaged his temples and his jaw. "I only know a few details. I only tracked your work and movements. Nothing bigger than that was noticed." |

| "If you looked up some unsolved cases there, you'd probably figure it out." Masaru said emotionless. "Have you ever killed anyone with a death note?" |

| Grace nodded. "I killed my adoptive parents and a few Russisn police." |
