| "I take medication. Once I take it I go into something similar to a coma; you can tell me, Masaru," Grace said smiling. |

| Masaru stared at her for a while and then sighed. "Remember when I said that if I inherited anything from my parents it was bad luck?" |

| Grace nodded quietly. |

| "It's because they had the bad luck of giving birth to the person killed them. He didn't have any reason to. One day, my older brother just went berserk... He butchered my mom with a katana, my dad ran in with his pistol thinking it was a gangster. But he hesitated to pull the trigger when he saw who it was. After that he was butchered as well..." Masaru said coldly. |

| Grace sighed. "I apologize for stirring such horrible memories. It must be terrible for you," she muttered. |

| "It was... especially since I was there and watched it." Masaru said. "And you were wrong by the way." He said quietly. |

| "About what?" Grace asked oddly. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "About the thing keeping me from smiling." Masaru said without emotion. "It isn't family... It's the fear of being betrayed." |

| Grace stood and hugged him lightly. "Who would I betray you to? You're Tge only person who knows my true identity." |

| Masaru stayed still and silent, surprised by her actions. "...Thanks..." He said genuinely grateful. |

| Grace pulled away, stood and smiled. "We're getting somewhere," she grinned as she wagged her finger. With a yawn, she stretched and looked at the clock. "It's late." |

| "Yeah, we should probably go to sleep before Rin Chi appears and keeps us up." Masaru said standing up and heading to his room. "Night." |

| "Goodnight, Masaru," Grace said taking her pills. She went to her room with Cerberus on her heels and went to sleep snuggled into her dog's massive abdomen. ((Timeskip?)) |

| (Sure) Masaru woke up, yawning and slowly getting out of bed to get dressed. Kage lay on his bed, watching him. |

| Grace was still asleep and buried under five quilts, curled up in a ball. Cerberus was laying in the kitchen quietly as sun drifted through the window. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru walked out of his room. "Grace must still be asleep." He said lazily and stretching. He sat on the couch and took out his death note again, looking over the killings the Kira's made. |

| Two hours later, Grace walked into the living room wearing long sleeved pajamas. She had a large blanket wrapped around herself as she walked in with still-puffy eyes from sleep and messy hair pulled back in a ponytail. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru put down his phone. "What's that kid want now." He said getting up. "I see you're not much of a morning person." |

| Grace shook her head and pulled the blanket tighter around her. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "You know you can sleep in a little more. It's not like much is going on." Masaru then walked into his room a dug through his bag, taking out his pistol and silencer and walking back into the living room again. |

| "The hell?!" Grace gawked at the weapon. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Calm down. It's not like you haven't seen one before." Masaru said calmly remembering when she shot the wall. "Zero wants to talk with me. I'm taking precautions." He started putting his shoes on. |

| Grace paused. "Be careful." |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "I'll be fine." Masaru said blankly. "I should be back in a little bit." He said, getting in the car and being drove to the park. |
|
| Grace was nervous while Masaru was gone so she started cooking anything she could think of. This sort of situation made her feel like she was a kid again waiting for a call from her father. She was always scared she'd not get the call, and one day she didn't. Sighing, she tried to keep herself busy cooking various things. |

| Masaru arrived back at the Chateau. He walked back inside with an annoyed sigh. "I'm back." He then walked over and sat on the couch. |

| Grace sighed. "How was it?" |

| "Well, it turns out that Zero recently got a death note... And since I have one... and the Kira's have most of the others. It's more than likely that he was given it by the Kira's" Masaru said leaning back. |

| Grace nodded and looked around at the fifty-three dishes of food she made out of nervousness in the fridge and on the island. "You uh...hungry?" |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "A little I suppose. I did leave without eating breakfast. You already made some?" Masaru asked looking back at her. |

| Grace chuckled nervously. "I-I guess you could say that." |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru narrowed his eyes at her. "What happened?" He asked suspiciously. "You're acting like when you woke up and found yourself sleeping against me." |
|
| Grace opened the overstuffed fridge and moved out of the way of the island. "I sorta took my nerves out on the cookbook." |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru stared inside the fridge, unable to respond. Luckily his phone rang, so he didn't have to. "O-one second..." |
|
| Grace fumbled through the kitchen looking for a clean plate. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| Masaru was getting annoyed talking on the phone. It was unclear exactly what he was talking about but he mentioned the word 'prostitute' several times. |
|
| Grace overheard this and immediately started to silently trace the call. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "That fucking brat. He's way too damn nosy and persistent." Masaru said annoyed, putting the phone back in his pocket. |

| Grace jumped slightly. "I-Is everything alright, Masaru?" |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Zero, that kid's too damn perceptive. And if my hunch is right... and the Kira's really did give him his death note. He'll be much more of a nuisance." Masaru said sighing. "Apparently he met Rin Chi already as well. Though he didn't tell him much." |

| Grace sighed heavily and rubbed her temples. "I lost the signal. Do you still want something to eat?" she asked. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Yeah... thanks." Masaru got up and walked over to the kitchen, opening the front door and letting Kage out of the house. |

| Grace stared at the over abundance of food and made a fairly large plate. It consisted of French bread, crêpes, a croissant, sausage, cheese and coffee. "I hope he's really hungry," she said as she sat the food out. |

| Masaru stared at it and sighed. "If you get anymore nervous... you could open up a restaurant..." He said starting to eat. At least she cooks good... |

| "It's not my fault," Grace growled. "You had me worried. You didn't even tell me where you went," she said as she remembered her bervousness over both Masaru and her father. |

| "You were really that worried about me?" Masaru asked continuing to eat the abundant amount of food. |
|
| "My dad left all the time. I'd wait for days to get word from him, and one day I didn't because Light Yagami killed him," Grace sighed. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "Well I'm not gonna die from a Kira. I won't allow myself to. Even if I do. I'll drag them down to hell as spirit." Masaru calmly. |

| "If you do I'll kick your ass all the way back to life," Grace snapped as she did dishes. |
Hey you! Yes you! Do you like: Dragon Ball? |
| "It's not like you wouldn't see me again." Masaru said leaning back in his chair, almost having his fill, he had hardly made a dent in his plate. |
