| Masaru heard this before, one of the gangs used a random, innocent person to draw him into an ambush. He sighed. "This again...? Whatever, fine." He said rolling his eyes. They'll get hurt much more this time than the last. Do they really think I'm that dumb? |

| Marin walked over to him with a blank face, slightly bowing to him. "You again?" Masaru said narrowing his eyes. |

| Masaru's emotionless face turned to a shocked or embarrassed one. "Eh!? What the hell are you talking about!?" Marin just stared at him. |

| Masaru started scowling, as he did when he started to get annoyed. "You do realize that is the second time I've heard that today, and it wasn't that hurtful the first time. What is this Ashikabi a new insult you rich people came up with referring to 'poor brats' like me?" He asked coldly. |

| Masaru narrowed his eyes in annoyance. "You want me to kiss some random girl, that I've never met, that carries around a sword." He said in disbelief. |

| "So basically, you're going to keep annoying me unless I kiss her." Masaru said still narrowing his eyes in annoyance. |

| Masaru sighs annoyed. "Fine, I don't know what you hope to accomplish by this though." He then quickly kissed Marin and stepped back again. "There, are you happy now?" Marin blushed slightly when he kissed her but continues to stay emotionless. |

| Masaru looked at the back of her neck. "A tattoo, so what?" He asked still scowling. |

| "Alright, and about this tournament. What if I don't care about it? If some other moron comes and attacks me I guess I'll have no choice. But why should I go out of my way to fight others just to win?" Masaru asked retaining his emotionless tone and face. |

| Masaru sighed. "Why do I have to deal with this crap?" He asked himself before looking at Marin. "So I guess that means I have to take care of you then?" Marin nods and remains quietly. "Alright, fine. Come on, I'll show you where I live." He said starting to walk back towards his house. |

| "Don't expect much. I live alone and don't get that much money, so it's only a small apartment." Masaru said calmly. "It is fine, I merely wish to serve you as best as I am able." Marin said emotionlessly. "You seem to be handling all this... much better than I anticipated, Master." "What good what it do if I just started panicking or denying it? And cut it out with that 'Master' crap. It's like you're looking down on yourself, I am no better than you. Just say Masaru." He responded. "If that is what you wish... Masaru..." She said to him. |

| They eventually arrived to the South Apartments. |

| Rin was walking through the streets quietly, sipping her can of Dr. Pepper occasionally. |
|
| Rin stopped in front of a video game store. Staring at the games inside, still sipping her Dr. Pepper. |
|
| Rin continues to stare inside with a slightly interested face. |
|
| Rin looked at him with an emotionless face and nodded, quickly turning back to stare at the games. |

| Rin nodded and pointed to a shooting game that had recently come out. |
|
| Rin looked at him and took his hand. She then walked in dragging him behind her. |
|
| Kaien, Aki, and Hilary walk back to his mansion; forgetting all about the other at the moment. |

| Rin was still holding his hand and continued to stare at the game and game system. |

| Ryuga nods. "Yes, Master Trent." He took the game and systeam from Trent, still not wearing his shirt. |
|
| Rin nodded however she was holding the game tightly and staring at it. |
|
| Ryuga hands her the game. "Here you go." |
|
| Rin takes it and continues staring at it while following Trent. |
|
| Rin simply looked at him in response with an emotionless face. |
|
| Ryuga and the girls watch both ends of the alley. |
|
| Rin stared at him for a bit before nodding slowly. |
