| Sunohl heads towards the room with a stern look on her face. When they enter, she looks around and gives a nod of approval. She puts down her things in a safe spot and sits down on a chair by the little reading table. There were two chairs by it and a lamp. She didn’t pay much attention to Ashe, and starts to go through some of her notes. |
| "Anahakara marani j'ko sanl,oraha mar..." Athena keeps mumbling,more of the aura surrounding her. |

| John entered the Inn and went to his room... alone. He shrugged his shoulders and sat at the desk in his room and started taking out his alchemic set. He had work to do, the old man may have given him ingredients and advice. But it was up to him to make the perfect weapon of mass destruction. |

| Athena widened her eyes,who were now black.A long howl and screams got heard from outside.Athena walked to the balcony.Outside the Inn,an army of skeleton were bowing,of both animals and humans.Athena grinned evil. |

| Katsumi took her sai and prepared for a fight. "What the hell is this?" |

| "My army." Athena grins. |
|
| Ashe awkwardly shuffled into the room and laid down on the bed. She couldn't get comfortable, so she fidgeted a little. That didn't work, so she squirmed around, trying to find the softest bit of the bed. When she couldn't do that, she got up and took off her boots and jacket, putting them under the bed. Then she punched the pillow a little. She realized there was a rock inside of the pillow, so she wriggled her hand into the small hole and grabbed it. She laughed. "There's a stone in my pillow!" She stated incredulously. It was dark purple, with tiny veins of silver and blue. "It'll be my new lucky stone," She imparted this wisdom to Sunohl, trying to make friends. |
| Well this is interesting and creepy at the same time. |

| "You will be at my order at any time I call you." Athena yells over the skeletons.They all howl and nod in agreement,bowing downer."Prepare to die a second time serving me." she adds.The skeletons howl once more."Free." she adds,waving her hand over the railing,upon the front line's heads.They vanish,turning in black mist,and enter the ground,after howling one more time. |

| Katsumi leans against a wall and crosses her arms. "That's something you don't see everyday." |

| Sunohl puts her notes away to look over at Ashe. “A stone in your pillow!? That’s horrible. We should go complain! How do they expect their customers to rest of they sabotage their sleep?” She begins putting her notes away, and she gets up to go examine the stone that Ashe had found. She had a grumpy looking expression as she does. |
| "Nah, I'm just gonna keep it. It looks valuable, so if I complain, then they might take it back." She says, grinning and tossing it up and catching it. "It's really pretty. See?" She holds it up in the light for Sunohl to see. |
| “I see. Suit yourself,” says Sunohl with her arms crossed. “It makes me suspicious of the standards of quality of this establishment though. I wouldn’t want to take a bath that only makes me dirtier, or wake up to find that the blankets have caused my skin to rash,” she says with a pout. “That said, the rock does look pretty. Perhaps the previous visitor left it here?” |
| Ashe admired it with a small smile. "Yeah. It would be really strange to put it in the pillow though." She sat there and pondered on it. Who puts rocks in miscellaneous inn pillows? Someone either dotty or nefarious. Well, maybe it had a spell on it for good dreams. Or maybe a spell on it for not having your hair all mussed when you wake up. Or maybe if one participates in an act of aerobic sleeping, the spell would be for not having a child. A strange thought crossed her mind. It looked harmless enough, but what if... "Would you be able to tell if there were some sort of magical jiggerey-pokerey done on this?" |
| “Hmph! Of course!” Sunohl boasts. “I’m Sunohl Eltant Unan’eel. High Priestess of Salache,” she declares again, bending at her wrist, and pressing her spread fingers against her collarbone area, and her head turned slightly in a sort of gloat-full self-praise. She gives Ashe a momentary sideways glance before asking for the stone. She brings her palm out and held upwards to indicate that Ashe should place it in her hand. She repeatedly does a curling motion with her fingers impatiently. “If it has some sort of magical property infused or bestowed upon it, then I shall identify it for you.” ((So, is there anything you’d like it to be, or should I make it up? o_o)) |

| (( I'm not gonna prompt you, haha. XD Have fun with it! :P )) Ashe almost reluctantly handed her the stone. Sunohl reminded her of a bird she once saw: full of pretty colors and singing songs about herself all day long, but when you least expect it she'll pounce the life out of a field mouse. "If it's something aweful like making your hair fall out or your teeth like an ogres don't tell me and just throw it away, aye? I don't want to know if I'll wake up all knobby and the like." |
| Sunohl gently covers the stone with her other hand so that it is lightly clamped between the palms of both of her hands. As she begins to close her eyes to concentrate, it starts to glow a dark purple light. “Nnngh~” she struggles against the invasion by the stone and abruptly throws it to the ground. With a serious expression, she explains. “Dream Stealer… This stone takes the dreams of a person and shows it to someone else. I say dreams but it’s only used in a loose sense. Really, it should be able to take any memory that one commands it to. It just tried to steal mine. Most likely someone placed it here in order to steal our plans. Of course they’d have to come back to retrieve it, and that’s assuming we didn’t override their command. So? What do you want to do with it? I wouldn’t stoop so low to use something like that, but considering that you are a thief by profession, perhaps it may be of use to you. Discovering the location of important items, and whatnot.” Sunohl stood with her arms crossed and a stern expression for a moment. “Definitely don’t use it on me, do you hear!? But then, it’s not like my mind is so weak as to be so easily read by such a petty implement, hmph!” The truth is, even though she blocked its invasion of her mind, it did manage to retrieve one set of memories. She is always in control of her mind and is very strong against mental attacks, but there is one area where she is weak against. |
| Asher's eyes glitter softly, and a slow smile creeps across her face. "Any memory? Any I so desire?" She asks, almost to herself. This could be the one. This could be the keystone. She could finally lay her father to rest. "If I were to promise you on my life- no, who wants that shoddy thing - my father's grave, that I won't use this on you or yours, will you show me how it works?" |
| Katsumi was lost for words. She'd seen such dark magic before, but never this close. Think about what she just witnessed she tried not offend her new comrade or say something stupid. |

| “Ah,” Sunohl says with a nod. “But I believe it has to be a memory that the person can access. It has a will of its own, so it will just try to extract what it can. There isn’t any real special way to use it. You just will it to extract memories from people, and it will do so. Most of the time, its target won’t even know it’s doing its work.” “Don’t get me wrong! My earlier struggle with it was only because it prefers to obey the commands of those who are affiliated with the darkness. Being a High Priestess, it wouldn’t listen to me at all. Of course, I wouldn’t let it extract anything from me though. I’m not that weak! So no need to make any promises to me regarding the stone. You’re not getting anything out of me anyways!” Unknown to Sunohl, it did copy something from her memory. It has a record of her, during her childhood, dirtied and scratched up, scrounging around in the dumps of the city, looking for scraps of food to appease her starving stomach, a small collection of the years she spent alone and homeless. |
| Ashe smiled brilliantly and stuck the stone in her pocket. There wasn't a better home-warming present in the whole wide world. "Thanks," she says earnestly to Sunohl. That's the second favor that was given to her that night. She only hoped she could return some favors soon. Ashe assumed that this could happen during a battle that there was a good chance would come. |
| "So,how is your magic going like?" Athena asks Kat. |

| "I may show you," Katsumi looked at Athena, "but you may kick my ass..." |

| Athena laughed."I promise I won't." she says. |
|
| "I think you would. It envolves a kiss. So it's more effective on men." |
|
| Athena's eyes widened."Hmm,I see.You're a charmer,eh?" she asks. |

| “Now then, why don’t we take a bath?” suggests Sunohl to Ashe with a calm expression. “When we entered, I noticed there was a pretty nice-looking one at this inn. It looked like it was run like a public bath but for patrons of the inn. I’m sure a nice hot bath would be to your liking?” |
| Katsumi thinks about it for a second. "I guess you can call it that. I mean, I've been called worse." |

| "I know what you mean." Athena smiles faintly. "Most people back away and call me names when they sense and see that I am a walking dead." she adds,thoughtfully. |

| "What did they call you?" |
|
| "Everything,from witch to freak,undead whore and disgusting creature..." Athena sighs. |

| "I've been called 'Siren'. Its a mythical creature that lures sailor's to their deaths." |

| Ashe looks googly eyed at Sunohl. "We? What?" She'd never heard of a public bath before. It was only public when there was more than one group wading around in the stream, trying to scrub off the stench of road travel. |
| John's room was between both of the girls's rooms, so he really didn't have to try to hard to eavesdrop on either party. And what he heard interested him... and somewhat depressed him. |

| “If you’re not interested, then I’m going ahead,” says Sunohl. “It’d be best if you wash up before you go to sleep,” she adds while heading off towards the door. |
| Ashe nodded curtly, then got up and followed her. She didn't want to miss out on new experiences, not matter how weird they sounded. She tried to think of a comment to say that DIDN'T sound weird or creepy, so she just snapped her mouth shut. |
| "I've been called for most part Grim." Athena says."Well,in the good days.And,don't take Siren as something bad,Sirens are beautiful." she smiles to Kat.Memories of the bad days when saved villagers beaten her down as she refused to strike back curled up in hr heart,making it itch. |

| "It is when they try to kill you." Katsumi walks back and finishes her sharpening. |

| “I see,” says Sunohl with a smile. When asked, the innkeeper directs them to the bath which was gender-segregated. Since they were early, there wasn’t anyone there. After passing through the door, there was a turn, and then a section for dressing and undressing. There were baskets for one to place their belongings in, and stacks of towels to be used. The actual bath section could be seen from here. That general direction was a bit steamy, and there was a spout of sorts that had water falling from overhead and landing gently in the large bath. It was a sunken style of pool, whose floor was below the ground level, so one stepped into it. Sunohl grabbed a basket for herself, and starts to undo the tie in her hair, while looking over at Ashe to see how she was doing. ((I dunno if the description is okay or not, LOL.)) |
| Ashe's eyes widened to the point that there was more eye than face. She finally tore herself away from the beautiful steaming water. "We can use this? It's ours?" She said incredulously. Ashe's eyes drifted over to Sunohl, who was undressing. She realized that she couldn't bathe in her clothes, and rocked back on her heels. Crap, She thought to herself, not feeling the best about stripping down to nothing. Her back was laced with tiny silver scars, with one large, red, ropey scar racing down her spine, starting at the base of her neck to her tailbone. She slowly undressed, and placed her back firmly to the wall. (( Yeah, it's fine! XD )) |
| “Yeah. Other people might come in to use it though, but it doesn’t seem like there are very many people staying over tonight,” says Sunohl. Looking over at the facility, she says, “I guess it passes.” When she finishes undresses, she places everything in her basket, neatly folded. Her skin, in contrast, is smooth and unblemished. From the looks of it, it was obvious that she took care of it. In her basket, gently tucked with her clothes, is a small portion of cream that she intends to use afterwards. Furthermore, her body is thin and un-muscly, as expected of someone who wasn’t particularly athletic. She pays no attention to whatever may be on Ashe’s back and heads off towards the bath. |
| "Aye, it passes," Ashe says heartily. "Passes for opulence." She was almost shaking with excitement as she stepped into the bath. She felt like a gangly child next to Sunohl. She ha scars on her knees and arms from fighting as a kid, and she was built like a teenage boy but with boobs. The only thing she desired to hide was her eyes and her wings, but the rest she left like normal. This made her kind of want to be soft, like a girl. |
| From the fragrant smell, it seems the present water would do just fine in cleansing without needing to use any other cleaning agent. It was continuously flowing as well, so the water was constantly being renewed. Sunohl steps into the bath and wades around in it before finding a suitable place to sit in while enjoying the warmth of the water. She leans back against the edge and lets out a pleasureful exhale. “Ahh~!” She holds back the urge to say something typical of expressing relaxation. ((What time should it be roughly? About late evening?)) |
| (( Yeah, like right before sleep time.)) Ashe followed suit, distastefully sniffing the water. It was frilly smelling, which made no sense for her. Apparently dozens of people were in here every day... Why wouldn't it smell like bodies?! "It smells like flowers... What's the point of smelling like flowers?" |
| “Who knows,” says Sunohl with a gesture of her hand. “It smells nice. At least it’s not sickeningly strong like some low-class places that have no taste,” she says, while stretching out her legs. |
| "Oh," Ashe says softly. She ignored her instinct to start asking stupid questions and just relaxed. She'd be in fights, hopefully, in a few hours and she'd be able to show how useful she was. That was her purpose. She wasnt put on Earth to be frilly or ornamental; her purpose was killing. As she bathed, she couldn't help but question her purpose. |
| John leans back in his chair and stretches thinking aloud "Hmmm... tha priestess's look that she first gave us was a little lack luster" He tilts his head and says "Then again... we aint the atypical party of heroes, are we? We dont have the perfect little, innocent, godsent crusading paladin. Nor do we have his hot and sexy elvish mage girlfriend who thinks are relationship is complicated bc she's immortal and he's not. Nor do we have his best friend who's an archer/hunter/tracker and who's like brother to him. Nor do we have a cute yet deadly pet Eagle or Dragon... but jeez cut us some slack!" He stands up and walks over to his bed and lays down on top and says "Most of us are selfish, greedy, treasure hunting outcasts and vagabonds trying to earn an almost honest living... but we need to have something in our lives that makes them worth living for" He sighs as he looks up at the mirror positioned on the ceiling and says "I must be going nuts... I'm talking to myself again" |

Athena sighs,with a painful smile on her facial expression.She looks trough her book."The Shaman..." she thinks."Master,who truly were you to worth a spot in a dark magic amalgam?" she finds herself wondering again."And who am I to worth a spot...?" she wonders again,looking at the two very realistic colored drawings,portraying her on one page,and her mater on the other,with few details about each's power written under the black ink marvelously wrote names... |
