| Hunter X Hunter, though there are various teachers, and not all of them are male. As said, in Dragon Ball (the first arc, NOT Z. Felt like clearing this out since the whole franchise is named like that in the manga), there is lot of teachings; Goku learns from grandpa Gohan, Roshi, Karin, Mr. Popo and God during his childhood. He also trains himself for a while between two tournaments. In Z there are also teaching arcs, but they're small and power-level based, while the earlier trainings were technique based. |
