| I don't think monosexuality suits Konata's personality. She seems very openminded so I think she could be attracted to both genders. She could be predominantly gynephilic (lesbian since she's female, though she seems to have an androgynous personality who is uninhibited by stereotype) and perhaps she's a lolicon herself like her father, but more likely she's open to everyone since I think she gets along with the teachers pretty well too. Certainly there's some chemistry with her and her friends, though much of it passes off as a casual game it might hide more serious feelings (I'm sure every character has these deep down, maybe moreso for the more funny characters). The gamey attitude is part of her charm, but probably also how she keeps amiable with her girlfriends who may only be ready for that level of intimacy. |

| Konata is a yuri fan, she has been seen referencing Maria-sama ga Miteru (if I remember correctly) as a joke (when she was acting all proper like Miyuki) and was watching Strawberry Panic in one episode (I think seven, don't quote me on that) Also she is heavily suggestive to Kagami as we are all aware. (Personally) I think this is because she KNOWS that Kagami is a closet lesbian or at least bisexual and she loves teasing her 'tsunderella.' Frankly if Konata is bisexual, it would be something like 90% interested in women 10% in guys. |
