Like from 2003 untill now... almost all of them.
And the ones that finished were published several years !
Is there a reason why its so slow?
Anime coming out a lot faster....
Anime much harder to make, than manga, no?

You want to give an example? Because I don't quite follow.
Manga I read are either monthly, weekly or the rare irregular ones (berserk)

Oh right, so you just dislike the length of the publishing.
Well they seem like monthly manga, I'm not positive but it just means one chapter per month, which usually ends up making a longer publishing time. Some manga are once every two weeks, some are weekly, some are monthly, some go on hiatus, some are just irregular, it does get irritating sometimes, if you're following a manga :/

http://myanimelist.net/manga/2/Berserk berserk has been publishing for 20 years already, so some of them do go on for a long time.

Yeah, I mean OP has been going on for 13 years too, and it's only half way through.
But generally speaking, it just depends on the manga, some weekly ones are short, some monthly ones are short.

Basically, 5-6 years is a decent amount of time for a series to run. It costs a lot to publish a magazine, so a lot are monthly. 12 months in a year + 1 chapter a month = 12 chapters of manga a year, which is basically a volume and a half or so. And then there are other reasons a manga might take longer to be published, like the author going on hiatus or the publishing goes irregular.

Well you have to remember Manga is either done by 1 person or a small group of people, like 5 or 6 at the most, some have more. And they work on a chapter one right after another and Anime isn't much faster, by the time an anime gets to us, it's probably 1 to 2 years in production before that.
It doesn't think, it doesn't feel, it doesn't laugh or cry..... All it does from dusk till dawn is make the soldiers die.

I imagine it's because anime has an animator for each character plus background animators, etc. In mangas, one person has to do all the work: draw every single background, character, scene, etc.

Actually, I just read a very informative blog on this very subject a few days ago.
