| I'm looking for an action anime where the main girl(s) can kick some serious ass. It also has to have been made 2005 onwards. The girls have to be cute in their own way too. I'm looking for something in the lines of Kaze no Stigma, Shakugan no Shana and 11eyes. Doesn't matter if there's fanservice or not. Though don't suggest to me Ikkitousen. |
| Dai Mahou Touge Punie kills for no reason, breaks necks, and does everything a cute magic girl shouldn't do, you'll like her. She even harms her friends both intentionally and unintentionally and does cruel things to them. |

| Ga-Rei Zero, or Canaan. Haven't seen any of the three you listed for comparison, but those two have some girls that can kick ass. Also maybe, Chrno Crusade(03-04), Black Lagoon(not sure if Revy is what you'd call cute, but she's rather awesome), or Valkyria Chronicles. |

| Hellsing Ultimate, if you don't mind the blood. Seras slowly evolves into one of the most badass Female leads. Surprised no one else mentioned Seirei no Moribito, Balsa is one of the best female leads out there. |

| Okie, so these recommendations are probably going to stray from your opinion of cute, just a heads up. Also, some of these weren't made before 2005, sorry. I just wanted to put out these series' out here. When I think of BA females I think of: ~Ghost In The Shell (2003) ~Witch Hunter Robin(2002) ~Noir (which may fall under the cute factor) (2001) ~The Wallflower (I think this anime has a fan base steered towards girls though) (2007) ~("cute" girls in this series) Persona -trinity soul- (2008) ~Kino's Journey (2003) & I second Michiko to Hatchin |
