That's actually from a concert program. If you look at the left side of the picture, you can see a similar ad for FSN Remastered, which was released last year on digital platforms only.

Derp, my bad.
It would be nice if there was a physical edition with an artbook for Ataraxia on Switch.
It does look pretty snazzy.

It's actually been known that a port has been in the works for Hollow Ataraxia since then, too.

Well yea, but not everyone who uses this specific section of MAL uses social media or bothers keeping tabs on Crunchyroll News.
So it was basically a PSA that it's scheduled for release sometime in 2025.
And remember that Tsukihime: Red Garden was pushed back due to FGO so there was a chance it could have also affected Hollow Ataraxia.

I'd like to think it will also get stealth dropped in August like Fate Stay/Night Remastered did.
Was a nice late birthday surprise for me.

I also hope that Hollow Ataraxia and Red Garden sell well enough so they consider doing Kara no Kyoukai.

Anyone also currently experiencing the MAL bug where the typing tools won't show up on top of the chat box and BBCode shortcuts won't work unless manually typed?
(It showed up here as I was typing this but not on discussion threads.)

just finished orb: on the movements of the earth last night and dam that was a good one. it was a solid 8-9 but the last few episodes put it in my masterpiece 10 tier because just let it all out at the end.

@neboke Definitely one of the most unique stories in Anime we've ever had. Glad you enjoyed it ^_^

So, evidently there's a new English dub for Detective Conan being pushed out, with select episodes slowly being put up on Crunchyroll right now. The interesting thing about this dub cast is that some of the VA's were in Funimation's Case Closed dub. In fact, one of them (Mark Stoddard) is actually reprising his role from that dub.
Failure is always an option.

Am I the only one finding that most sequels either: a) overstay the show's welcome or b) just made for a money grab, or c) both? There are a lot of nopes for sequels this season from me including Shield Hero 4. I guess it is probably just me.

@Gafennec Shield Hero is very likely doing that xD Story quality has been thrown out the window since S1, but here it is again with S4.
I'd say Sono Bisque Doll too since nobody watches that for its low-factor story (I'm guilty of that too xP) and it's likely getting so much budget for production quality since they know they'll get it back and more through merch sales and other stuff. Rent-A-Girlfriend would be on the same boat but even more so.

For me, my concern is with Dandadan: I'm not sure why it's considered a sequel when it's basically a continuation of the 1st season-- it's like they took a very long break then continued the series. Even if it's to maintain the shows high quality, it's still not justified to be considered a "sequel" instead of an overdue 2nd cour.

@Jozuwa-_- Maybe because I lost my laptop for 3 weeks or medical mews, but my tolerance for a lot of anime has gone down the tubes. I just need a light-hearted anime. Gets super serious and it's out of here. Or, maybe, my old age is finally getting to me. :)

@Gafennec Well these are based on source material so it's not like they threw a story together just to put out another season. For something like Shield Bro there may have been a contractual obligation to do another season or there was a big enough core audience that bought the blu rays for S2 and 3.

When it comes to money just have to remember that no anime would get made if there was no money in it.

@zkeleton I'm not talking about making a reasonable profit, but flat out greed. For example, lowering the production costs just to make greater profit. Like I said, it's probably me.

I have been thinking this for a while, but I think I need to cut ties with MAL. You all have been great buddies in sharing the adventure of anime. I thank each one of you. I just lost a lot of my give-a-crap about anime. Medical conditions have changed my viewing habits; so I feel like my participation is no longer needed here. Again, thank every one of you for making my time here so enjoyable. Sayonara.

@Gafennec Take great care of yourself, bud. We may not have had much convos since I got here but, I do know you keep forum games going, and I appreciate that a lot since those forum games are a big reason for me getting comfy here when I was new to all these forum stuff, or just MAL in general. We'll be here anytime you feel like hopping back. ^_^

The trend of Fate remasters for Switch and Steam continues with their last minute stealth announcements.
Fate/Hollow Ataraxia will be released on August 7th.
Current pricing on Switch is $43.94 NZD (not sure how that converts to anyone else's currencies) with a 10% discount on Switch currently.
No price on Steam yet so not available for pre order just yet, but it might be slightly cheaper given Steam's general pricing.

@Jozuwa-_- I saw you asked a question about the ACE on the FAL page. If you didn't get the answer it goes by the numbers on the team page; listed under the "Users Watching" stat.

@zkeleton Thank you so much! Good thing you noticed it xD
I guess that's why I got deducted so many points when I Aced Silent Witch-- I based it on the Ranking page's stats.
I'm doing bad in FAL this season >_<

@Jozuwa-_- I'm doing so-so. I miscalculated a few things though. If I'd paid more attention I could have used every single show on my list as an ACE but I missed one or two of them because they went past the threshold before I realized it.

@zkeleton Same. I missed out on some Aces, and also impatiently Aced some shows.
My biggest mistake this season though was taking out Fragrant Flower from my team. I doubted how popular a usual Romance would be- should've factored in it being on Netflix- and also misjudged the fandom to still (hate?) watch Shield Hero and Domestic GF. xD

Geez, Crunchyroll's website has dropped the ball this week. Several dubbed episodes weren't released on the day of, and they only just finished putting them up. Now they have yet to put up the latest subbed episode of Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus. I thought they would fix this when they put up the dubbed episode, but no dice as of yet.

And the real kick in the pants: said subbed episode is available on their Amazon Prime channel.
Failure is always an option.

@Jozuwa-_- Right now I'm stuck with 7th Prince as one of my active shows until week 10 when I'll finally be able to use the wild card swap to switch it out for Sakamoto days. Trying to ace as many shows as I could may have backfired on me a bit with the way I had to swap some of the shows in and out. I really wasn't expecting any of the shows to go over the ace threshold so fast. When I played in other seasons it always took a show at least halfway through the season to reach that point. This time there were shows hitting it in the second or third week.

It really did. I didn't even get the chance to ACE The Summer Hikaru Died and Gachiakuta, which could've been an early advantage for me. Now, my only chance of getting a good ACE would be with Sakamoto Days and Dr. Stone, which might unfortunately reach the 'Watching' threshold before Silent Witch xD
Had I not been confused with the mechanics, I would've waited till way later to ACE Silent Witch xP

I wonder what's been going on today on Crunchyroll. For some reason, none of today's episodes have been uploaded. It happened with the most recent Rascal Does Not Dream episode, but today nothing is up yet.

@GridironOtaku I'm guessing it's the same issue that happened over the weekend. I wish they wouldn't just fix the symptoms and instead try to find the root cause so this doesn't happen again.

Looks like CR strikes again. A new episode of Witch watch is available on the site but, it's only the Indo dub/sub for now.
Not sure how an Anime dubbing of any language could be prepared/released quicker than a global English subtitles but... CR, I guess?

What's even funnier is that... Bilibili already has the English subbed episode XD

Crunchyroll just announced their full library of manga for their Crunchyroll Ultimate Subscription service.
But when I check all the subscription offers, for some reason Ultimate is not there, only Fan and Mega Fan.
Is Ultimate specifically for American customers only?

@Dosantsu I went to CR to check on this, only to be surprised by a whole new problem: CR once again disabled the option to subscribe through Google Play (for Philippines, at least-- not sure about the rest).
Regarding the Ultimate Fan plan though, it's not showing up for me neither.
