The PV that announced the season to be 16 episodes only showed scenes from one arc, so it's safe to assume that the 16 episodes will be for that arc.

@AMAN2410 No they are both Arc 5, but anime marketing label as different arcs even though they aren't.

Arc 5 will be adapted in 90 minute first episode + 15 episodes (8+8)
Arc 6 needs at least 23-24. (8+8+8 or 12+12)

@YushiKarma We will, Main Director confirmed it in LA Expo. Currently Arc 6 in production.

Yes, arc 6 is in production, only we'll not get it this season. That will be season 4. Arcs 5 and 6 can't be animated in 16 eps. And even 5 in 16 eps will be close enough if the arc contains lots of action and fewer dialogues

@MaxAkumax Arc 6 will air in Late 2025, not 2028. Also Arc 6 is part of Season 3. Seasons are completely planned before ithey start it that's how it works.

Director literally said "Second half of season is Arc 6"
