| When these complications come up and then get solved super easily in less than five minutes it makes it feel like everything that happens in the show is just trivial. At least the least they should have had Maria tell Runa that nothing happened. That confrontation where Runa saw the two of them coming out of the class together was kind of weird and confusing too. |

Maybe he knows their family dynamic is ultra fucked up and doesn't want to fuck it up anymore.
The parents divorce and split up the sisters. Runa doesn't interact with her mom because it would anger her dad, but she spends time with her uncle and maternal grandmother.
Seems pretty obvious that Runa and Maria are both off in the head because of their parents.

| So much nothing happens, uh, I mean, doesn't happen in this show. Its almost impressive. He starts wondering about her earing and then doesn't ask her about it. He wants to kiss her, and they've been going out for almost three months now, and doesn't say anything to her. How is he not kissing her every chance he gets? It seems like she's home by herself plenty of the time. He talks to some stranger about Runa's almost stalker sister, and takes his horrible advice, but doesn't say anything to Runa. This show is defined by the things that don't happen more than the things that do happen. |

Runa acting like visiting her mother is a betrayal of her father, and Maria although acting like Runa was better off being with the father not even seeming to have interest in meeting up with the father. | @HOOfan_1 What sort of custody agreement is this even? No court would split the kids down the middle without the other parent at least having part time custody. There's no indications that either parent was abusive towards one kid or the other so both parents would have equal custody. Yet the courts, both parents and both sisters are totally okay with them throwing away half their family? Then one side kept a grandparent? How does that even work? They should both have equal access to their grandparents. Did they split the entire family in half? Did they divide up aunts, uncles and cousins? What about family pets? Were those split up too? Someone is violating a custody agreement here. Bonus points for Maria's stepdad who the second he got a divorce from her mom dropped her like a sack of potatoes. |
| Hopefully Runa is pissed at him for keeping all this secret from her, the big idiot. He never even told Maria that Runa wants to be friends with her or Runa that Maria wants that too. So who's going to end being the girl that weirdo guy dumped when he went into high school? Because you know it's going to be someone our MC is somehow associated with. |

Ugh, could you imagine how awkward it would be to be in that park near them when they were blubbering? I'll admit to being somewhat dramatic after a break up in high school before but nothing remotely like that. He was crying more than she was. |
| I didn't even make it all the way through the episode. This author couldn't even come up with a good reason for things to go bad between them so they just started being awkward for no reason right after they said they said they wanted to be together. All this idiot really had to say was that he wanted to be with her and not the sister. And, that he should at least get to sleep with her once before she dumps him since she likes him way more than any of those other guys she dated and they all got to bang her. OK, maybe not the second thing, but damn he really got screwed over with not even getting to screw her before she decides to leave before they'll eventually get back together sooner or later. And his friend is an even bigger idiot. 'She spent the last three years pining over me so I broke up with her again because her high school years should be special.' Sounds more like he hates her and wants to make sure she's miserable for as long as possible. But I guess that stupidity had to happen so the other friend can get with her. | They actually tried a parent trap??? The entire thing with Runa and Maria living separately and neither meeting with the other parent is still just freaking weird. The mom actually seems like a mostly decent person...not sure why she wasn't insisting on seeing Runa though. The dad just seems like an absentee parent who doesn't even bother to tell his kid he is dating until he announces he is already engaged (weird anime trope)....seems like Runa just needs to move back in with her mother and demand child support from the dad. Maybe that way she wouldn't have thrown herself at every guy who smiled at her. Also it seems they wanted to prove how shallow her other Gayru friend was, and how stupid Nicole was to insist on keeping loyal to the scummy guy from Ryoto's cram school. Still it was entertaining. 6.5/10 |

| Pretty harmless but man was there some cringe and pointless melodrama. How incredibly awkward that must have been for dad's new wife to walk into that. Not that dad seems bothered. He didn't even come home for Christmas even though he knew his daughter was upset. 5/10. |
| All these gyaru's are screwed up when it comes to relationships. Runa will say yes to anyone with a penis, bitchy girl treats all boys like crap except for the one who treated her like crap, and the other girl won't accept anything that falls short of some idealized fantasy she has. I'd say it was pretty average for most of the season, but those last two episodes were just terrible. 3.5 maybe 4 |
