 Plot Summary A long time ago, there existed a Demon Lord who terrorized throughout the world until a Hero stepped up to the stage and challenged the Demon Lord, ultimately defeating him and ending his reign. The Hero then created Rosewood Academy, an academy made to help heroes-in-training achieve supremacy and help defend the world when needed that enrolls only the best of the best. Enter Arnest Flaming, a girl with a high sense of duty and the top student at the academy, hence receiving the alias "Empress of Flames" who one day encounters the lively, carefree new transfer student Blade, a boy who seems to equal her in power, something that she finds really irritating. Arnest was then personally requested by The King to supervise, and show Blade around the academy during his stay. The story follows the students' struggles in their quest to become heroes. | Episode 1 My goodness does the animation quality look terrible. Anyway, there is this whole air of mystery surrounding Blade, all while Earnest is in for an ego check. Not much of a story so far, which doesn’t fare well for this show. |
| At first it seemed like just another show with an overpowered student who should have been a teacher instead. But considering the strange room he was in and the fact that the King is watching over him, it seems that there's something more going on than what Blade is telling. It looks enjoyable enough to stay on my watch list. |

| That was surprisingly enjoyable. My main caveat is that with all the cute main girls in other shows this season it's too bad we didn't get one here. |

| Episode 2 Major revelations are revealed here as Blade and Sophie go on a date together. Sophie is revealed to be the product of an experiment to make heroes as it took 12 tries to get it right. And as for Blade, he used to be the Great Hero, but has since lost many of his powers. Blade is none too pleased that Sophie doesn't get to experience a normal life, though what normal means to Blade escapes him. Pretty much, this goes to show that heroes are artificially being made and it's causing quite a lot of social problems as Blade realizes that something is amiss about all this, and Sophie is one of those things. |

| Hmmm.... I think I've seen a story a lot like Sophie's before, but I can't quite place where... I get the feeling that Sophie is just going to be a friend while Ernest is the love interest and we won't get a harem or a love triangle. I could be wrong though. |

| Episode 3 A dragon has invaded the academy, but Blade takes it out with just a punch to the head, and it turns into a cute little girl who callas Blade her father seeing that she's quite affectionate towards those who defeat her. It turns out that Cu just needs friends, but she won't be friends with just anybody. So Blade comes up with a plan to have Cu tied down while the students take a shot at her so that they can all become her friends at once. Cu certainly is quite close to Blade there, but she has a lot to learn being the young dragon that she is. |
| So the little blonde from the cover art showed up. I should have seen it coming, but I admit I wasn't expecting the dragon to turn into a loli. Sometimes those kind of characters can end up being annoying, but Cu was actually kind of cute. |

| Episode 4 Well, that was just a silly episode there. First half, the class defeats Cu and they all become friends. And one of them has fun with her trying to make her look cute and stuff by spoon-feeding her. And then the second half Earnest gets fat as he eats one too many sweets. But she has a quick way of burning all those calories as she can transform into a demon and that requires a million calories an hour. Having that option to lose weight is quite handy for somebody with a weight problem. |

I hate the way he bonked Cu on the head and made her ask them to be her friend when they were the ones who wanted to be her friend. It also ruined the moment and felt like they were neutering her character. |

| I thought early on that the show might have some potential, but I guess not. It just rambled on with gags. But it did have some character development, I suppose. It was... sufficiently entertaining. 6/10 |
