I am legitimately so upset that this will never get a proper anime adaptation

Don't get me wrong, the first two seasons have many strenghts on their own, but I am so fucking upset that we will probably never ever ever have a proper remake that adapts the manga fully.

The Kyoto arc anime is absolutely confusing for anime only watchers who only watched the first season, unaware that the rest isn't canon.

This is one of the most consistent series with well done characters and it will forever be a hidden gem in the west because most people don't want to read a 100+ chapter manga with a slow pace.

Absolutely devastated rn

edit:
Well damn, guess I was wrong

Tell me this.

Aside from S1 being filler from ep18.

Other than that is the anime faithful to manga on other episodes and S2?

S2 is mostly faithful, in S1 there were a few anime original episodes that while fun are kinda noticeable if you pay attention to the writing (Yukio being more goofy, Izumo going full tsundere, etc.)

but even those fillers like the beach episode comes back in the manga right after the kyoto arc actually. Only the manga ver. Is way better tbf
