My mans, Kuro Kiryuu ♡〜٩( ˃́▿˂̀ )۶〜♡ Kuro looks scary and has immense physical strength, but treasures precision and order. He's earnest and sincere at heart. His family is very important to him. He's been taking care of his younger sister ever since they lost their mother, and he somewhat developed a strong caring for his sister. He entered the academy because of his sister, too, the reason being he wanted to look cool in front of her. He's good at sewing and can create all sorts of things, ranging from stuff like embroidery on long jackets worn by delinquents to frilly dresses. A member of the unit AKATSUKI. Kuro is a very tall young man with a good build. He has short, spiky bright red hair that is brushed back from the front, with one lock of hair left gracing his forehead. He has very light yellow-green, narrow eyes. He wears the school uniform with his white shirt unbuttoned completely and a black shirt underneath. He wears a gold necklace with a gold ring on it, and a silvery metal chain on his hip. He wears two black stud earrings, two golden rings on his right ear, and one on his left. On stage, Kuro wears AKATSUKI's uniform, which is reminiscent of traditional Japanese clothes. It includes a one-sleeved fur trimmed red and white kimono with a yellow striped sleeve. The top right side of the kimono has a decorated collar and looks like a red shirt with a yellow and black sleeve buttoned back. The outfit includes a black obi tied to the side, with red cords hanging from it. The bottom part of the kimono is red with white paint splotches, and he wears black fitted pants underneath. He wears high black boots with red laces. He also wears white athletic tape on his wrists and a black sleeve with gold trimming that goes up his forearm. He can occasionally be seen holding a purple tinted fan. The character for "Ku" (紅) in Kuro's first name means "crimson," which resonates with his red hair. The character can also be found in AKATSUKI's name, which literally means "crimson moon." Kuro's last name consists of two characters which mean "demon" (鬼) and "dragon" (龍), befitting of his intimidating appearance. Kuro's autograph consists of his full name, rendered in kanji. He accidentally treats Anzu like his little sister at times. Like Souma, he had been called a 'muscle daruma' by Keito. His hair colour, red with black streaks, matches Tetora Nagumo from 1-A. He is strong enough to lift a grown man and throw him a good distance. He's done this to Keito in Quarrel Festival, so that Keito would land on the mikoshi that was surrounded by the crowd. He was even able to lift up Madara Mikejima in Shinsengumi, the other tallest student in the cast. There is an inconsistency between the two stories, Crash Course and Donning Chivalry. In Crash Course, Yuta had stated he wished he had their unit costumes made by Kuro, however in Donning Chivalry, Kuro states that he had made them. In Vol.4 Akatsuki, he stated that his biker gang friends always picks him up from home and drops him at school (much to Keito Hasumi's chagrin as he is afraid that it will ruin the school's and Akatsuki's reputation). In Vol.4 Akatsuki, he came to school late because he was talking on the phone with his sister for an hour. As revealed in Reminiscence * Marionette, he is Shu's childhood friend. Kuro had promised to protect Shu when he was young, but apologized as he couldn't help Shu in a crucial time period where Valkyrie had fallen. |

Tomoya Mashiro An ordinary boy who grew up in an average family, Tomoya is a pushover. The "Tomo" (友) in Tomoya's first name means "friend," while his last name means "pure white." He hates it when others think he's weird because of the peculiar people around him, but he doesn't want to be seen as "average," either. In the Theater Club, he loathes the eccentric Wataru Hibiki, but highly respects Hokuto Hidaka. Since they make him read all sorts of scripts, his speech tends to become mixed up as a result, and he has some trouble with formal speech. A member of the unit Ra✽bits. Voice Actor Comment "When I first saw the character chart, my impression was that he's a very adorable character. He seems friendly and has great affection for his upperclassmen--basically, he's like a little puppy. I still remember feeling very perplexed when the director asked me to portray him as an average boy, with a capital A. I feel that it's the most difficult to portray an ordinary, 'average' protagonist. While acting Mashiro-kun's role, I kept wondering what kind of image the audience has of an average boy. I'm very excited to see how his relationships with his classmates, upperclassmen, and especially close friends will develop! I hope everyone will look forward to his stories as well. Please treat him kindly!" |

Mines is HINATAAAAAA!!! ✨✨🌻🌻 Hinata Aoi The cheerful and energetic older twin. Hinata is always with his younger twin, Yuta. He loves mischief, and he'd switch places with Yuta in class from time to time. Hinata is also the leader of the unit 2wink. Even in the Light Music Club, which he joined with Yuta, he takes club activities with a carefree attitude. While they usually get along great, his twin brother isn't satisfied with 2wink's course of action as a duo. He eats a lot and loves sweets, but doesn't like spicy food. Hinata is of average height and build, and can be seen smiling more often than his twin Yuta. He has medium length orange hair that is parted in the middle, with two dark pink clips on the left side. His eyes are green. He wears the school's uniform with the collar up and his shirt untucked. He can also be seen usually wearing hot pink headphones with the cord tucked into the pocket of his blazer, which is left unbuttoned. The headphones have a small black and white circle design on them. He also wears dull blue sneakers with red accents and white laces. On stage, Hinata wears a sleeveless, high collared vest that is opposite in colors to Yuta's outfit. The color scheme is their unit's signature colors--hot pink and aqua blue, and accented with white and black. He also wears harem pants designed in the same colors, with the main color being pink. The pants have two black straps on the sides and yellow buckles. He wears pink high top sneakers with aqua blue, white and yellow accents. He also wears pink and white striped wrist bands, with white bracelets over them. He also wears a pair of headphones in white and pink, different from his usual ones. Hinata wears pink and aqua nail polish when performing. |

My Hero Chiaki Morisawa! Sunshine of my gloomy life! Chiaki Morisawa "Chiaki is an idol who dreams and lives like a hero. He leads RYUSEITAI M now. He is straightforward, passionate, and always strives to achieve the best. Chiaki cherishes his friends a lot. His singing voice is powerful and cheering, and his performances are also bristling with power. Chiaki is the RYUSEI Red, the leader of RYUSEITAI at STARMAKER PRODUCTION. Chiaki is a bright, passionate person. He expresses his love for his hobbies in dramatic but excitable ways, because he enjoys sharing his passion with other people, and likewise, enjoys it when other people do the same with him. He loves to dote on his juniors, no matter how cold they are to him. He enjoys having physical contact with people and is known to embrace his friends and juniors to express his joy and love. His passion can be overbearing sometimes to other people due to how exaggerated and dramatic he expresses himself. However, he is a helpful and kind person, always willing to offer a helping hand or lend an ear. He sees the good in every single person he meets, and loves to give compliments. He is extremely empathetic and a worrywart, and for that reason, is easily drawn toward the person who's suffering the most. He has a pragmatic approach to the world, such as calling the police when situations are dangerous or protecting people not by defeating "monsters", but by providing them with emotional comfort. He has a very strong sense of responsibility as a hero and a leader, which has made him develop a habit of overworking himself; in the past, and even now, this has caused him to collapse from exhaustion. His stubborn side is an extension of his sense of obligation, and he often has moments when he refuses to back down from his convictions. Despite all this, there are times he can be timid and unsure of himself, such as not believing he's as good as the people around him, likely due to these self-esteem issues. Chiaki is also noted by Kanata as well as himself to be a "crybaby", and often cries in emotional moments, whether happy or sad; despite that, he has a strong enough pride that makes him want to hide those tears away. Not only that, but due to the fear of being seen as uncool by his juniors (and by kids who look up to him), he often shows a strong front whenever they're around. On the other hand, he doesn't do it as much with people his age, especially those who are close to him, such as Kanata and Kuro. He thinks and talks to himself often, especially in an attempt to calm himself down." -Ensemble Stars Fandom My comment: If Chiaki Morisawa has a million fans I am one of them. If Chiaki Morisawa has ten fans I am one of them. If Chiaki Morisawa, has only one fan left, that is me. If Chiaki Morisawa has no fans, that means I am no more on the earth. If the World is against Chiaki Morisawa, I am against the World. I love Chiaki Morisawa till my last breath. |

An idol working hard in order to become a man among men. He is the captain of the Karate Club in Yumenosaki Academy. He is an earnest and hardworking person, but struggles when it comes to thinking things through. With a boyish, reassuring singing voice, his performances are powerful. Tetora is a slightly shorter than average boy with a regular build. His hair is black and spiky with red streaks on the bangs and side of his head. His eyes are a bright amber. Tetora wears a short-sleeved black and orange hoodie with orange straps, and a ring at the front of the hoodie with a string. Underneath is a white long-sleeved shirt with shorter sleeves that end at his forearm. Tetora wears a black watch on his left wrist with a purple screen. He wears gray sweatpants with white strings. In the winter, Tetora wears a black button-up down jacket with thick gray stripes and a long white shirt underneath. He wears black pants with thin red side stripes, and a large gray stripe on his left leg. There are yellow and green designs following the large gray stripes on his jacket, as well as a large yellow flap in the middle with snap buttons. In the corner of the middle flap is a green rectangle, and two yellow drawstrings hang from the bottom. There are two pockets on his jacket around the button flap with black zippers and a round pull tab. The hood of the jacket has a sideways T-shaped design in gray, with the insides of the hood yellow. The logo of the jacket can be seen on Tetora's left arm. The bottom half of Tetora's jacket has folds, with two gray bands on the innermost folds. His jacket sleeves are thick, and are puffed at the end with gray velcro straps. The bottom of Tetora's jacket is round, almost making a very light M-shape at the front. Tetora wears the school's uniform with an untucked white shirt, and unbuttoned blazer. Along with a blue tie, he wears the uniform with rolled up sleeves. He wears brown sneakers with dull yellow laces. He wears the black color version of RYUSEITAI's uniform on stage. It includes a black and white leather jacket with gray accents and gold trimming and detailing. The jacket is longer on the back than it is in the front, and the inside is designed with a sparkly purple fabric, reminiscent of a galaxy. He wears a black shirt underneath and a gold necklace with a black star as well as white form-fitting pants with a sparkly purple stripe down the outer sides. This is accessorized with a gray and white striped belt with a gold and black star-shaped buckle. The belt has golden strings dangling from it and a sparkly black and white wrap tied to it. He also wears tall black boots with white accents and gold detailing, along with a pair of black fingerless gloves. Tetora is an earnest, hard-working guy. His ultimate goal is to become a “man among men,” which ends up being much less clear-cut as Tetora’s journey of self-discovery continues. His idea of what a “manly man” is often influenced and shaped by his idolization of Kuro. The traits Tetora tends to point out as being manly often include physical strength, cool-headedness, determination as well as honesty and ability to care for others. He notably values certain skills that are traditionally associated with femininity, such as cooking and sewing. Tetora’s desperation to become a man among men often manifests as impatience, due to his dissatisfaction with his current self. He considers himself “girlish, and is constantly deferring to people who can act as role models for him. While his main role model is Kuro, he also looks up to Chiaki and even Arashi as examples he can follow. Tetora has strong internal conviction, and his determination to change himself is his biggest driving factor. However, many of his motivations are external, taking the shape of these role models throughout the story. He rarely questions their guidance and lets them shape him into specifically who he thinks they think he should be, and this can get him into quite a bit of trouble because of his impulsive nature, and can lead to people taking advantage of this. And yet he doesn’t often waver in his blind faith in people, even toward the person in question and even if his initial opinion of them changes. He also tends to take things at face-value, to the extent that people have to scold him for how gullible he is. Because he puts so much blind trust into the people he chooses as role models, and because his image of a “man among men” is very fluid and particularly dependent on who his role models are, this gives the impression that Tetora has a shaky sense of self and doesn’t actually trust his own judgment. This conclusion also draws from his vocal dislike of his current self, and his desire to change himself to be better. He is very quick to put himself down, especially to elevate others, and he talks about himself using very harsh language, even going so far as to say he hates himself. Tetora frequently tries to help his friends when they’re in trouble, going to exceptional lengths for them when he’s made a promise. He tends to throw his entire self into whatever he does, and he often doesn’t slow down long enough to question whether it’s a good idea or not. In fact, his fast-paced lifestyle is another big part of what makes Tetora himself. He has a lot of energy and doesn’t like to sit still, and he’s constantly on the move trying to work toward whatever goal he has in mind at the moment, whether it be a small-time goal like helping a friend out or preparing for a live, or his long-term goal of becoming manlier. Despite his determination and go-get-‘em attitude, Tetora is extremely clumsy and lacks in a lot of places that he’s constantly trying to improve. While he seems hyper-aware of certain flaws, he can also be slightly airheaded and oblivious when it comes to others. A notable example is cooking, which he fails at spectacularly, to the extent that people constantly try to ban him from using a stove. Tetora claims to be good at cooking “over an open flame, but it’s brought up on several occasions that he’s laughably bad at it. It’s later revealed that Tetora tends to overcook his meat (to the point of burning it) due to meat-related trauma from when he was a child. While Tetora typically has a very easygoing attitude and takes most things in stride, he often speaks up against being treated like a kid. He very specifically does not want to be coddled or sheltered, even though he’s aware of his weaknesses and ignorance. When Arashi calls him “Tetora-chan,” mimicking her usual nickname for the other students at Yumenosaki Academy, he asks her not to call him that. Though it’s framed in a way that makes it seem like he thinks the -chan suffix is too girly, similar to his other qualms regarding his perceived “girlishness,” he later reveals that it’s because it sounds like she’s treating him like a kid. These reactions tie back into his overarching goal of changing himself and shows that his insecurities go beyond just a preconceived idea of him being too “girlish.” His efforts to change himself and become manlier connect to wanting to grow up, even down to the language he uses: he wants to become a “man,” a mature grown-up. Tetora’s insecurities prove to run very deep in that even by the end of his first year, he still doesn’t perceive himself as having obtained his goals, and he still considers himself “girlish” and inexperienced. Even when others, such as Chiaki or Kuro, try to convince him of how much he’s grown, Tetora tends to brush it off by mentioning all of the things he still needs to work on. In this way, he shows to be very self-conscious, moving his goalposts constantly. It could be said that this is because he’s constantly comparing himself to his role models and trying to emulate them, and therefore always falling short. Despite all of this, Tetora does acknowledge where he’s grown over time and what accomplishments he’s made—he simply doesn’t think they’re enough. However, his growth has led him to acknowledge that he can’t become someone else; he can only ever be himself. By the end of his first year, Tetora proclaims that he’s going to become his own version of a man among men, a “tiger who won’t lose to anyone because he can’t become the “dragon” that Kuro is. This shows that even though all of Tetora’s insecurities and dissatisfaction with himself, he has grown over time and learned to accept himself as he is. Over the course of his first year, Tetora learns how to be a leader, and he frequently takes up a pseudo-leadership position within RYUSEITAI. This manifests concretely in the new year, when he actually becomes the leader of RYUSEITAI-N. However, Tetora shows initiative and leadership qualities, along with a willingness to take on responsibility, well before then.[29] Even by summer of his first year, Chiaki has named Tetora as the substitute captain for RYUSEITAI, and treats him as such.[30] He takes his responsibility seriously, and tries to be a positive influence for his teammates, as well. He’s also very humble despite his growing responsibilities, and shows gratuitous humility toward the others in his life, most notably Chiaki and Kuro. |
