Every Homunculus in FMAB dies an ironic death in relation to the name of it's sin.

> Lust, the embodiment of the sin that makes men kneel, dies kneeling to a man.
> Gluttony, the embodiment of greed in food dies getting eaten by Pride.
> Pride gets defeated by a lifeform he considered to be inferior to him.
> Sloth, the symbol of laziness dies due to over exerting himself.
> Greed dies satisfied.
> Envy commits suicide after discovering that he has been envious of the humans.
> Wrath is killed by Scar who has overcome his own wrath.

Just found this interesting and decided to share here. Feel free to add similar examples!

I don't think there is anything ironic about Envy committing suicide. And the Wrath one is a stretch. Otherwise I agree. The remaining deaths are ironic.

Well I think Envy's death is the most ironic one here.

Here's another one for Wrath
> Wrath dies with peace in mind, totally satisfied with his life. His death was completely opposite to the sin he was named after.

That is a good one for Wrath.
And, I don't see Envy's death as ironic because Envy committing suicide was due to his realisation of his nature, not due to him just being envious. It isn't like he stopped being envious or died a death directly due to him being envious of humans.

Sloth was always ironic, being that he performed manual labor for most the series

I'm sure Envy died due to the realisation that he had been jealous/envious of humans. This disgrace war too humiliating for him as he considered them to be too inferior to him. He mentions this as the "greatest disgrace" right before destroying his own philosopher's stone and killing himself.

Yes, that's what I said. Envy died due to him realising his own nature.
But I don't see how realising your own nature is ironic for someone who is envious. I guess you can say he let his envious nature get the best of himself. What I mean is his humiliation was the cause of his suicide. Of course the humiliation was because of his envious nature so you can say that is ironic in a way. I agree with that.

Father killed by his lookalike's son.

Anime was it's best 20000 years ago, when cavemen drew art with real depth.
Modern anime is all garbage. I miss great old days of anime.

Pride become a baby with no pride. However i think lust didn't die ironically just because a man killed her. There aren't many female warriors around. Her death had nothing to do with lust (as a sin/concept).

i mean . . . if you wanna twist the wording of their death so that it becomes what you like, go ahead.

having said that.
yes. the deaths of the seven deadly sins (the homunculi) are the seven deadly sins themselves.
it's not something to get excited over since it has been explored countless times before fmab and will be after fmab

also, say what you want but i think lust from fma(2003) was superior in every way to lust from fmab and that includes her death

Lust's death is'int ironic because she dies on her knees (and even if that was the irony it's untrue), or that shes killed by a womanizer. The irony is Lust is killed by a man who loves.
