They are all great arcs imo but I personally prefer marineford

Pain arc > Every arc in anime that I have watched.

Soul Society was an amazing arc but is not even my favourite in Bleach. My favourite is Arrancar: Downfall arc.

I'm only on episode 300 in One Piece so I haven't watched Marineford arc. I'm currently on Enies Lobby arc, that is considered one of the best arcs in One Piece if I'm not mistaken. It has been such an amazing arc with amazing moments but it's not even close to Pain arc level.

But all of this is just my opinion. I don't want to start any discussion lol

Should've done arrancar arc instead of Soul Society, or whatever you call the part with Aizen vs Ichigo along with Ichigo vs Ulquiorra and OlIchimaru in general. Idk if these are considered part of the same arc thanks to the fillers

I just put pain arc below Soul Society because it's when we are told naruto is the child of profecy which completely destroys the whole meaning behind Naruto's journey, a story that was all about "courage and kindness will lead you to friendship and acknowledgement". True man. Pain arc was the arc which took naruto to Dragon ball god like shit. It just lost its whole meaning after that. Tho i still consider it as the best arc of naruto anime cause the kurama awakening was just too badass. Also,i agree with you putting marineford over soul society. Shit hits realy hard,specially ace's death

I can't say about Marineford in the anime since I read it in the manga but I'm sure it's good as well.

I honestly didn’t think the soul society arc was all that. It was solid but that’s about it. I didn’t like bleach as much as other people to begin with. In my opinion Marineford is best of the three but I think the best arcs in shonen are Yorknew City and Chimera Ant.

That's a really tough decision since all 3 arcs were classics. I think I'd rank Marineford arc as #1, Soul Society arc as #2, and the Pain arc as #3.
