Why is the haki is not blackened during the pre-timeskip?

I'm wondering why haki is not blackened during pre time skip?

They didnt had the idea. After the timeskip they had the idea to make the haki black.

They weren't using armament hardening yet.

The obvious reason is that the author didnt have haki fully developed as a concept back then. The in world reason is that there are not many haki users in the first half of the grand line, also "invisible armament haki" exists its just that when its "darkened" its way stronger

I believe that haki being black is just a visual representation of haki only the viewer can see and the characters cant because luffy couldnt sense armament haki pre timeskip thats why it isnt shown sentomaru, boa, marco etc all used it

I think is because the people that whe have seen using haki in the pre time skip have advance haki and thats why his arm dosnt turn black, like for example when Garp hits Luffy when his a child or when he arrives to Water 7 he use haki thats why he said it hurts, but his arm dosnt turn black because he have train haki alot till the point that hes arm dosnt turn black when he's using it, also even rayleigh use advance haki when hes training Luffy

They didn't show it black in pre time skip because they didn't want to spoil the viewers and also because Luffy couldn't see it yet.

All three type of haki were introduced long before the time-skip. They were presented as a mysterious unknown power back until the haki reveal.

It's because non haki user can't see it.
Luffy can't use haki in pre-timeskip accept
for conqueror haki

Its not like that everyone can use haki but there were people who used haki first shanks use it to save luffy from sea monster then in skypea enel was using advanced observation haki and the priests were also using it than i guess crocodile was using armament and observation haki and also there were some user who were using this when luffy states " i am a rubber man so hoe can i feel pain" and conquerors haki is rare there is less user who uses it but the concept of haki was cleared out after dew episodes and after timeskip before timeskip it was not cleared out

Haki in the one piece world can not be seen. The black effect is something the animators came up with later on to show the person watching it that the character is using it

What do you mean by "animators"? Oda used the black effect in the manga before the anime did, and as far as I'm aware he's the one who came up with it not Toei.

They didn’t have the idea at the time. But to atleast somewhat cover this mistake, there was this type of haki (forgot name) that is formed differently. It’s like a clear substance around the body part. If you think of ryuo and how there is haki like around the body, it’s like that. But the blackened haki is ofc stronger

No, actually, I saw a theory that Luffy might have used advanced observation haki unconsciously when he sensed that if he tried to attack Mihawk, he would get his hands chopped off. This is unrelated to the point, but if you look back at what Zoro was saying when he beat Mr. 1 about a true swordsman, it’s the same thing Hyogoro was saying when teaching Luffy about advanced armament haki, and it explains how he cut through steel
