| First of all Ami is my fav character in this show. I like the chemistry between these two more than RyuujixTaiga. Ami slowly developed real feelings for Ryuuji and she became more caring and understanding,she didnt even compete with Taiga over Ryuuji though she likes him.Not to mention she is mature enough to maintain a relationship without bossing around like Taiga. |

| Ami is the best character in the show by far. xD I love herrr! I thought that they just worked a lot more than Ryuuji and Taiga. They definitely made a cuter and more interesting couple, she's mature and amazing... and Taiga is just annoying. D: And they're atypical and more unique. I thought, for a while while watching this, that maybe the show had a chance of going into a different direction, instead of leaning towards the obvious RyuujixTaiga that everyone would expect. But no... SIGH.. TORADORA JUST PISSES ME OFF EVEN THOUGH I LIKE IT. |
| Well, Before i watched Toradora! i watched Bakemonogatari... Hitagi is #1 anime girl ever... So then Ami has a personality that is just like Hitagi. I really hated it when he picked Taiga/Kushieda over Ami. Ami also is also really deep. She's hard to understand and she wants to be loved but doesn't know how to express it. That's why Ami is #1 in Toradora! |

| I just loved Ami's personality from the start. Her facade and all. And then I wanted Ryuuji to actually fall for her because of that. Specially because she starts changing, all because of him. And then, Ami is really mature. I liked the Ryuuji x Taiga ending, but I would have preferred if he ended up with Ami instead. |

| Ryuuji x Minori was more infatuation and Ryuuji was more like a mother to Taiga than anything else. In the manga, yeah, I liked Taiga more than Ami but in the anime Ami definitely won. I hate predictable endings, I'm sick of them! Most of the time when I watch an anime, I don't choose the obvious couple, I prefer couples that are less obvious and could have been great together if they had a chance. |

| I just felt bad for Ami since she knew about everything that was going on and only helped to ship them. She helped taiga and ryuuji express feeling they themselves did not now. She too had feeling but knew she couldn't express them without hurting the others :c |
| Hmmm, tough question. The easiest and simplest answer is plain chemistry, the two had it in spades. Whether it was Ami teasing Ryuuji(that shower scene goes down as one of my favorite anime moments ever of all time) or the two having a discussion by the vending machines, they always seemed to work. I never got that impression from Taiga, and Minori, though I did support her and Ryuuji at first, quickly took a backseat when it became more and more obvious that Ami and him just got each other. Not all the time(dam Ryuuji not taking the hints, even though I don't blame him). Lastly, out of all the people and moments in the show, I just found their interactions the best. They were the most memorable pair and I really wish the author had been willing to tell a different story rather than reach the obvious conclusion. |
| I feel so bad about ami that ryuuji cant even see her confession many times. I usually dont care about this stuff but it still pisses me off |
