| I would realy like this, and i think that alot more people would want this. a famous website in my country called Hyves.nl also has this option, there its Profile visible to: Hyves users, everyone, friends, friends of friends. but i would be happy enough if we could only enable: MAL users only, i heard more people about it and i think its a pretty basic option for a site like this to have, and alot of users (me too) say that they dont want some people (real life friends,school people,work people, other/whatever people) to see their mal profile. i dont want this for some people i know either or lets say a majority of people and i know that alot more MAL users have this issue too. |

| What's the point? Anybody can get several MAL accounts. In fact, it is entirely possible of a person to have over a hundred MAL accounts in just an afternoon's time. No point in adding a toll to the MAL server. |

So to add onto Saitoe's solution: don't the username you normally do. Really, despite being such a large community, MAL isn't even close to being on the first few pages of "anime" on Google. Unless you're blatantly obvious about it they probably won't find you. |
