| This manga is mostly a comedy and a battle manga.Only contains shoujo-ai/yuri and ecchi Settings:In a fictional Japan,around the end of the shogunate Ever since the ancient times,generals would bring their army of ninja and samurais to do war.The winners of those wars would become shoguns until a new war breaks out(shortly after in general).However,one man decided end this endless chains of war and that was the future Emperor Meiji.He proceeded to organize a ''sword hunt'' to eliminate all ninjas and samurai so war could never break out again and he had his Oniwabanshu(ninjas used to hunt other ninjas) to do his dirty work.Only a few ronin and ninja managed to survive and two of them were Asahina ''Gozen'' Yamamoto and Yuri ''Tomoe'' Kamanosuke,the shinobi sisters. Main Cast: Asahina:The main heroine.She's a pretty attractive woman(cute face,big-breasted) with a high bounty on her head.She really doesn't look like it,but she's a highly skilled genius kunoichi(stronger than jônins)and was the first kunoichi to be used for military purposes(kunoichi were mostly used as spies).She's also one of the last 2 heir of the Yamamto style kenjutsu.Her familiar is a nekomata.She used to be a unsucessful geisha and was almost made into a prostitute because of debts. Kimura:Hero of his own quest.Back when the Yamamoto clan was still alive,she was Asahina's boyfriend(though Asahina loved another man).Ever since the fall of the Yamamoto clan,Asahina breaks up with Kimura because ''men were weaker than women'' and her real loved man died.Ever since,he became a rônin who only lives to perfect his Yamamoto style(he still wants to re-conquer Asahina) Yuri:A nukenin who escaped the Sanada Clan during the ''sword hunt'' and met Asahina during their escape and became soon became very close friends.She took the nickname ''Tomoe'' because Tomoe Gozen was her role model as a female warrior.Asahina took Gozen to share the same name.She absolutely hates men because ''they're all the same''.Although she is calm and more serious than her partner,she's quite a ''yuri'' pervert and a proud lesbian who thinks lesbianism is better than straight and yaoi(in contrast with her former general who were a straight guy who loved yaoi).She loves Asahina very much and wants to travel with her forever.She is japanese with some african genes |
