| It's "Characters & Voice Actors" or "Voice Actors" actors per Episode, could you make it clear? There are number of characters who take action in Episode, but don't utter a single word (or they just make breathing noise) either because they are mute, they can't talk, or they are communicating through other means, because they don't want to talk. However so far my submits for such characters were declined (and yes, I am still grumpy Berserker was not added to TV FSN:UB lists, despite having 2 full episodes dedicated to fights against him.) And there will be more characters to come when MAL restores that function. From latest example of what I have been watching: Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei: https://myanimelist.net/character/3588/Meru_Otonashi She "speaks" through texting on her cellphone. The only sounds you can get from her are "Ah...", "Hi-i-i-i..." and other similar sounds. https://myanimelist.net/character/8407/Mayo_Mitama A supporting character who appears on several episodes, but doesn't say a word. Because her bat swinging, knife stabbing or lighter igniting say way more than mere words could. Tonari no Seki-kun: https://myanimelist.net/character/76710/Toshinari_Seki Doesn't talk. At all. Only makes noises. It's his character trait. The closest we got to hear him make sound is when he imitated the sound of air and airplane in one of the episodes. Gakkatsu: https://myanimelist.net/character/60839/Inaba If memory doesn't betray me, this little guy also doesn't talk, only mumble-whispers to someone, so his words would be delivered to whole class. There are also anime where supporting characters take a role in an episode, but don't have much time to talk since there are a lot of characters present in the episode. As example "Fallen Guardian arc" in Log Horizon http://log-horizon.wikia.com/wiki/Akiba_Raid_Party was formed to fight Enbart Nelles. So, what I am rumbling about: Make it a rule that for Episodes character presence is enough to be added, regardless if said character was voiced or not for that particular episode. |
