| No, I'm not looking for a character that likes to eat a lot XD I'm looking for an anime with a MC (or a character relevant to the plot) which suffers from blood lust or hunger. Resisting the blood lust or hunger causes them pain (physical or mental). I'm not talking about hunger for power, of the urge to kill other people. What I mean is that the character needs to consume something in order to survive (blood, human flesh, souls, anything) but wants to avoid it, and thus suffer from it. I have 3 examples: 1. Zero from Vampire Knight, which was turned into a Vampire and resisted his lust for blood, which in turn caused him pain, and drove him crazy. 2. Mika from Owari no Seraph, just like Zero, was turned into a Vampire, and resisting the blood lust caused him pain and drove him crazy. 3. the last example is not a Vampire, Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul, which was turned into a half Ghoul, and tried to resist his hunger for human flesh, which again, caused him pain and drove him crazy. Rules: No Hentai, Echii is ok. I'd prefer if the character is a male, doesn't have to be the mc. Shounen Ai is ok, but no Yaoi. Hope you can help me with this. |

It's a manga called I am a Hero. Spoiler------------------------one of the heroine turn into a zombie, thus it was probably kind of hard for her to control herself, the only reason she didnt kill/eat him was probably because of their connections of her feelings for him or whatnot. I've read about it, it does sound interesting, so I'll give it a try, thanks ^^ |
| The MC in the first story arc of Reccord of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knights fits this perfectly. There's Alice in Pandora Hearts, although I wouldn't say she's actually "suffering" from bloodlust, believe me, she enjoys her bloodlust very much lol |
