Is the Kaze no Stigma anime finished?

I just heard that the writer died in 2009 before the story was finished and I was just wondering if the anime was finished cause I don't want to end up really liking it and forever wondering about the end of the story. No spoilers please and thanks in advance guys :D
Also by finished I mean is the story finished not the actual anime - like does the anime break off in the middle of the story or is it at least partially conclusive?

It's a conclusion that is mediocre, but it wasn't bad especially if the authors death is taken into account. I would've liked to have seen more of the series though. The romance aspect did not develop even at the end.
