| Oh, should've noticed this sooner. Guess I need to check clubs more often.. x_x I pretty much spent a lotta time in both Disgaea and Disgaea 2 already, at least I think I have a decent team. Disgaea: 1- Laharl (Sword/Yoshitsuna) 2- Etna (Spear/Holy Longinus) 3- Priere (Monster/Nemesis MK.II) 4- Marjorly (Monster/Nyanko Soul) 5- Gordon (Gun/Etoile) 6- Jennifer (Fist/God Hand) 7- Thursday (Monster/Nemesis) 8- Divine Majin (Axe/Durandal) What can I say, History characters and extra ones really are overpowered. Priere's Omega Heal pretty much covers the Medical needs and Marjorly has all Omega Spells along with her Special. Divine Majin has extremely high stats and when mixed with an Axe, only boosts the ATK even more at the expense of HIT. Disgaea 2: 1- Adell (Fist/God Hand) 2- Laharl (Sword/Infernal Sword) 3- Etna (Spear/Holy Longinus) 4- Rozalin (Gun/Dead Whisper) 5- Flonne (Staff/Sage's Staff) 6- Galaxy Skull (Staff/Sage's Staff) 7- Bahamut (Monster/Phoenix Feather) 8- Prinny God (Monster/Satan's Motor) Funny thing that I only use 8 of 10 that a person can use. Unlike Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories has too much stuff for a person to do, namely getting Lover Residents and Felonies for more % EXP. Not to mention that I still need to get along in the Land Of Carnage to get Fubuki, Axel and Kurtis into higher levels to be able to 'survive' in it. Getting the best weapons isn't easy either.. Namely, nothing is easy in Disgaea 2.. |
| i'm still working on my disgaea: afternoon of darkness team since it's much faster than the original ps2 version. on the other hand, my disgaea 2 team consists of 1 monster namely... Legna (Hell Dragon)-pheonix feather (upgrading to satan's motor), 2x infernal armors, all at lvl110+ splitting time between these is bothersome, since that's all they really require... |

| This is for Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness All lvl 9999 and most of god equipment(IE: lvl 100 Yoshitsuna and Robot suit's). At least the first 5 on the list. 1. Laharl 2. Riven (Cosmic Hero) 3. Ciel (Galaxy Mage)~She one hits Uber Prinny Baal) 4. Nephilim (paladin) 5. Kasumi (Shogun) 6. Elena (Magic Knight) 7. Tifa (Eternal Fist) 8. Lyn (Cosmic Hero) 9. Shobin (Space Pirate) 10. Rin (Freischutz) never used Majin's, overated. Disgaea 2 my team changed a lot and I never got into doing the extra stuff. Just beat Baal and left it at that. |

I use etna mode alot to train people. It's only about 2 hours max to lvl a character to lvl 9999. What takes a while is getting the god equipment and modding it correctly. |

| for it like this in disgaea 1all i use was Laharl level 9990 weapon godslayer. Zero level 9009 weapon-xblade that what i called it. Light (ME) level 7654 weapon-bare hands. For disgaea 2 it was only Adell bare hand level no idea cause beating all the serect boss and getting all the item maps and the bad ending with fenloy over 3000 it took me 2 years. after that i let a friend play it and in 30 days he beat the game and with a fenloy 40 on Adell. |

| I have a tendency to prioritize custom characters over story characters. Every NIS game I own (With the exception of Soul Nomad due to its battle system) has the main character ranked about 3rd/4th behind my customs in terms of power and level. Disgaea 1 Female Figher - sword Galaxy mage - staff laharl - sword archer - bow flonne -staff/bow depending everyone else is really just canon fodder. Disgaea 2 Female Fighter - sword Mage - staff Beast Tamer - Axe Rozalin - gun Adel - Fists Thief - fists Archer - bow Disgaea DS Female Fighter - Sword Pleinair - gun Mage - staff Laharl - sword Archer - bow Flonne - Staff/bow |

Well that would require your definiton of how long a "long time" is....If you are talking like 150 hours+ is a "long time", then no. However, the BEST two leveling spots I know are the: Cave of Ordeals 3, and the Demonhall Mirror (Cave of Ordeals) after you beat everyone in the Demonhall Mirror, which unfortunately requires beating Adell (lv 2000) and Rozalin (lv 2500) at the same time, which is no easy feat to accomplish, however, you DO get them on your team once you beat them. |
