Anti-Hero Anime to Watch

So, it seems I like some kind of anti-hero animes. I would like to see if someone can give me a suggestion based in the list below that I watched.

1 - Yusuke vs Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho)
2 - Kenshin vs Saito (Rurouni Kenshin)
3 - Goku vs Vegeta (DBZ)
4 - Seiya vs Ikki (Saint Seiya)
5 - Ozora Tsubasa vs Kojiro Hyuga (Captain Tsubasa)
6 - Naruto vs Sasuke (Naruto)
7 - Gon vs Hisoka (HxH - didn't finish to watch this one, so I'm not sure Hisoka is really an anti-hero)

I would appreciate to don't repeat the context, like: no ninja, no samurai, no soccer player, no hunter, no greek mythology, no spiritual detective, no alien with super powers novel.

That is nice, thanks for the suggestions.

What about this list below, do you know if they have anti hero?

1 - Cowboy Bebop
2 - Flame of Recca
3 - Shaman King
4 - One Piece
5 - Fairy Tail
6 - Gintama
7 - FMA Brotherhood

If yes, how they are compared to the ones that you suggested(Code Geass and Gundam Seed) ?

This is an open question to all. Any input is more them welcome.

Ok guys, thanks.

Need to be honest, between Code Geass and Death Note I think I'm more inclined to Code Geass, it seems to have more action.

So, quick question, does Death Note has good fights? Light and L fights each other in the begin of the anime?

What about the list that I passed, someone of them can fit the role that I'm looking for?

I accept no mainstream suggestions as well.

Cowboy Bebop - Somewhat, between Spike and Vicious, but it isn't the centrepiece of the series.
One Piece - Again, somewhat, between quite a few characters actually.
Gintama - Not really, but quite a lot of the characters have rivalries with each other.
FMA Brotherhood - Doesn't really have any imo.

Not too sure about the others I'm afraid.

Death Note doesn't really have any fights, not physical ones anyway, it's almost exclusively psychological warfare (and a supernatural notebook that can kill people of course). Code Geass has a mixture of psychological and physical duels, it definitely has a lot more action than DN.

Cool, really appreciate. It seems that I'll give a try to Code Geass.

Fairy Tail has a huge score of bad-ass characters.

The Natsu vs Gajeel relationship is very similar to Goku vs Vegeta. Even Natsu vs Gray is kind of like that.

Fairy Tail is somewhat similar to DBZ, but with improvements such as better character development and fight pacing. The story arcs themselves actually have some resemblance to a complex plot. And the series never reaches a point where one guy becomes so powerful that he fights all the battles and everyone else is standing around, whacking off in the corner.

From gunrunners and drug cartels, to crime syndicates and super-villains, no lawbreaker is outside the Legion's jurisdiction.

This is a good call. Thanks too. I need to say that I'm a little bit old in animes I watched some, but I'm not a speciality, the thing is that I'm get bored if the stories are too similar to animes that I watched before, even movies it happens too, that is why I ask suggestion based in the things that I watched but with different context, I know what I want. =]

Code Geass vs Fairy Tail!? I think I'll try both.

So I did some research and it seems that in terms of anti-hero AND rivals of the main character, the list below probably would fit a little bit better:

1 - Yusuke vs Hiei (Yu Yu Hakusho)
2 - Kenshin vs Saito (Rurouni Kenshin)
3 - Goku vs Vegeta (DBZ)
4 - Seiya vs Ikki (Saint Seiya)
5 - Ozora Tsubasa vs Kojiro Hyuga (Captain Tsubasa)

7 - Inuyasha vs Sesshomaru (Inuyasha)
8 - Tsunayoshi vs Hibari (Reborn!)

Don't get me wrong maybe I need to do more research but let me explain/share why I excluded the ones suggest before:

2 - L vs Light (Death Note) - Same above
3 - Fairy Tail - I don't know if it is badass that I'm referring, perhaps I need to double check this one
4 - Gon vs Hisoka - It is a little bit weird, that's all that I have to say about this two

Fate/Zero and Hellsing Ultimate I would appreciate if you can detail to which characters are you referring.

Don't get me wrong I'm trying to refine my results, it is difficult to find the anime that I want to watch without some good research.

I don't think you understand what an anti-hero really is in the normal context. You do however seem to want a physical rivalry between two characters that leads to direct conflict.

For that I would recommend
Berserk-I won't spoil it
Fate/Zero- It is better than it looks at the beginning
Gungrave- Skip episode 1

And These are some anime that I would recommend based on sheer enjoyment that do include a type of conflict

Le Chevalier d'eon
Ghost in the Shell

Yeah, you are right, I just realized the concept in the middle of the thread, so in fact this thread is not about anti-hero only, it is about anti-hero AND rival of the main character.

My friend suggested Berserk, I read the plot and I have two concern about it:
1 - It seems it is not ended.
2 - Griffin fitting the role that I just described.
