| After Kayaba finishes his message, I am unsure how to react. We are trapped here....forever. Well, until someone beats floor 100. So, forever. I can't figure out how to react, so I look to others. I'll react based on how they react. Some people have found their friends. Others grimace at the floor. Others run around desperately talking to others. A few of them are crying. I smirk, laughing a little to myself. Look at them crying....if this was a play I was writing, they would all be dead soon into the plot. ...play. PLAY! A violent shiver passes down my spine. How is my family going to survive without me writing plays for them? My sisters are going to starve. Suddenly, I feel like screaming. I feel like pounding my fists on the virtual pavement and using my sword to cut away at trees and buildings. THIS HAS TO BE A JOKE! I NEED TO GO HOME! I NEED TO GO HOME NOW! I CAN'T LET MY FAMILY SUFFER BECAUSE OF ME! But I do none of this. Hitting the pavement will do nothing. Trees and houses are immortal objects and cannot be destroyed. Screaming won't accomplish anything. I can't think of anything to accomplish anything. So I just stand. I stand, and debate what to do. |

| I let out a slight gasp of surprise as the pink haired girl bumps into me. I look at her. I want to say something, but my voice catches. What do you say to someone when everything gets messed up like this. "Umm...hello..." is what I wind up saying. |
| Sakura now noticed she bumped into Sabre "Sorry!" She said with a hurried bow not knowing what to do after all she was still new what if he wasn't and what if he was a player killer |
| I note how flustered she is. I wonder if she's afraid of me for some reason. I guess that comes along with living in a game where murder actually means murder. But without the nasty side effect of legal consequences. Come to think of it, besides this town being a safe zone, what ACTUALLY prevents someone from going on a rampage and killing us all? I mean, think about it. You wouldn't go to jail. There are no written laws, and no government to enforce them. Weird. Either way, I have no intention of murdering this girl. Or anyone else, for that matter. "Um, It's ok!" I say quickly. "Why were you rushing about?" |
| "What do you mean?" Sakura asked slightly confused standing up straight again "I'm Sakura by the way" she said |
| I smile. It's a pretty name. "Nice to meet you, Sakura!" I say. And then I notice her confusion. I tilt my head a little. "Huh? It's just you ran into me so I assumed that you were rushing somewhere....where?" |
| "I have no where to go and what is your name?" Sakura asked tilting her head "it's nice to meet you as well" she added with a cheerful smile |
| I gasp, suddenly realizing I never introduced myself. "Um, I'm Shinr-I mean, Sabre." I blush in embarrassment and I hide my eyes behind one of my hands. I can't believe that I had almost introduced myself by my proper name. What a rookie mistake. "Pretty bad luck, all of this. It makes the perfect setting for dramatic tragedy, though. " |
| "You were about to say your real name weren't you c'mon tell me I've already told you my real name" Sakura said with a cheeky grin and she put a hand on her hip |
| "Oh! Really?" I gasp. I hadn't realized that she'd named her avatar her real name. I wonder how many other players did that. I adjust my glasses quickly and a place my own hands on my hips. "Well if you MUST know, I am Shinra Mimura. I-I don't know if you've heard of me, I did some kinda popular stuff in the real world. I mean....I guess." |
| "I haven't heard of you" Sakura said with smile "nice to meet you" she said holding out her hand |
| "Oh!" I say, a blush rising. I overestimated my fame, I think. "I wrote plays and performed it them." I take Sakura's hand and I shake it. |
| Sakura smiled a bit ;I'm not really into play's" Sakura said with a cheerful smile then Ren arrived and noticed her "Sakura?" He asked |
| "Oh, haha" I say, scratching the back of my head. I smile back a little and I notice the new man. He seems to recognize her. |
| Sakura turned to Ren "as I thought" she said with a long sigh then she turned back to Sabre |
| "As you thought??" I ask, tilting my head slightly. |
| "That's my brother Ren he loves games" Sakura said with a cheerful smile |
| "Ah really?" I say, smiling back. I turn to Ren. "Um, hi, Ren!" I bow and hold out a hand. "I'm Sabre!" |
| "Ren" Ren said as he shook Sabre's hand "Oi Sakura what are you doing here?" Ren asked then she replied "obviously playing the game" |
| Kanji sits in a restaurant in the towns centre waiting for his food to arrive still shocked from what had happened earlier finding out that if he dies in the game he will die in the real world even thinking about this sent shivers up his spine. He had messaged his friend Takaru who used his childhood nickname as his username Odango, asking him to meet him at the restaurant to discuss what to do from this point forward after getting split up when they were teleported to the Town |

| Odango pushes through crowds of people to the restaurant where he is to meet kanji. *i can't believe this is happening to me, a chance to start again, a chance to help people, a chance to be a...* mid thought Odango fall flat on his face right In front of kanji at the restaurant, he quickly stands up and runs over to him arms wide open to hug him yelling "HELLO KANJI!" |
| "Oh god" says Kanji under his breath as before he could react Odango had smothered him Kanji let this go on for a for seconds before breaking free of Odango's big figure "Your hugs in the game are even as Annoying as they are irl Odango" Says Kanji snickering as he had gotten used to how affectionate Odango is |

| Odango stumbles back when kanji breaks free and shows a big smile saying "how cool is this though, we can be like superheroes, fighting bad guys and stuff." This is something Odango has wanted his whole life, to be the good guy and help people. He realises that he hasn't seen kanji weapon yet so he holds up his large axe saying "hey bro, look at the weapon I picked!" The look on his face was like someone winning one million dollars, he had the largest smile ever, "Can I see the one you chose?" He quickly added. |
| "Could you choose a bigger weapon?" Kanji says jokingly "Well it suits you well Odango, Your like a brunt from one of those medieval movies" Kanji then proceeds to unsheath his weapon, "A Long Rapier with a pointed sharp tip and black hilt with a hand guard of matching color, I used all the col I saved up from grinding those boars in the grass lands on this" Kanji says proudly |

| "Man that's so cool!" Odango said while marviling at his rapier. Odango turns around to see the exit of the town and says "hey bro, why don't we go out there and kill some animals or something, maybe even find some people!?" he proceedes to hold his axe above his head with both hands and yell "COME ON, LETS GO ADVENTURE!" While running towards the exit acting like this isn't a serious situation. |
| Before Odango could make it to the exit Kanji said "Dude I'm hungry and I already payed for the food I ordered can we at least eat before we leave?" I still want to discuss with Odango about being stuck in the game Kanji thought to himself |

| Odango drops his axe to the ground holding it with one hand still, he turns around and start to drag it back to kanji "well your a load of fun aren't you!" Odango says in a sarcastic tone. He takes a seat across the table from kanji and steals some of his food. "So what do you wanna talk about?" Asks odango, "you got a girl in your life yet?" |
| "Odango I don't think you've realised yet but one false move could be your last? We have to survive together I don't know what I'd do without you, I don't want you dying for a stupid reason." Kanji could bare the thought of losing his best friend, he made a promise to himself that he would try his hardest and become the best swordsman in all of Aincrad! Like that's gonna happen Kanji thought to himself |

| "Don't worry bro, I'll be fine. I'm just here to protect you in anyway shape or form and I'll be here with you till the end, wether that be my death or you leaving me I'll be here till then." Odango start to tear up as he is starting to realise how serious this is now, and how he has to protect kanji. No matter what stands in their way he will make sure they do not hurt kanji. "I'm sorry kanji I will start to take this more serious and will never leave you and will protect you, we will always be a team." |

| Odango yawns and says "I'm sorry bro I'm stuffed, that axe is heavy and I'm lazy. I really need some sleep, I'll rent a room in the tavern and I'm gonna go sleep ok?" Odango doesn't allow kanji to answer and starts walking towards the tavern, but stops and turns around and with the biggest smile waves kanji goodbye and goodnight. (I'm going to bed, so I will rp tomorrow) |

| "Sleep well you big loser" Kanji said Happy that Odango understands how he feels. Better buy myself a room as well, Kanji walks up to the NPC owner "One room please" Kanji says weird out a bit about the fact that he is talking to a robot basically "Right this way sir" Replied the NPC. The NPC led Kanji to the room and left, "Better hit the hay then" Kanji said happily excited about what the future held. When Kanji's head hit the pillow the thought about how at any moment he could die came back to his head as much as Kanji didn't want to think about this fact he thought it was best to just accept it and keep moving foward |

| Odango wakes up from his sleep, and goes downstairs to ask what room kanji is in. The npc at the desk says "Hes in the room across from you." Odango quickly runs upstairs and bust through his door and yells "WAKE UP BRO! ITS TIME TO ADVENTURE!" while running in a circle. He rips open open the blinds hoping to wake up kanji. |
| Kanji opens his eyes to see Odango Looming over him "What are you doing Odango?" Kanji says with a little bit of anger in his voice, as he is not used to being woken up do suddenly |

| "I'm here so we can go on an adventure." Odango says with much excitment, "We can do anything really, its up to you, im just here to protect you!" Odango said this while holding his axe in this air like he's ready to fight something. "I'll be out the front of the inn when your ready to come with me, so you can get ready and stuff." Odango says this while thudding out of the room, and proceeds to wait out the front of the inn. |
| Kanji packs up all his thing and leaves his room, walking outside Kanji sees Odango standing off to the side "are you ready to go" said Kanji leaning up against a wall near the two |

| "Am I ready to go!?" Odango said as a joke, "it took you like twelves years to get ready." Odango picks up his axe and starts to walk towards the exit of the town, "hurry up bro!" Odango yells while walking off. *i can't believe we're leaving the city* Odango thought to himself, even though this is what he always wanted he never wanted to die doing it. He knew that a soon as he stepped out there anyone or anything could kill him. He wasn't showing it, but he's scared like crazy. |
| "Hey have you got any Cor Odango?" Kanji said after catching up to Odango |

| "Yeah but not much at all I spent the rest on the inn and food" says Odango while searching through his pockets. He holds out his hand which has 10 Cor in it "you can have it if you want" he says with a smile. |
| "It's alright bro, just thought we might want to buy some health potions... Just in case" Said Kanji "We're still level 1 so I just want to be save but I don't think 10 Cor will get us far" Kanji laughed a little while saying this |

| Odango laughs. " so you wanna head out or are we just gonna sit here all day?" Odango impatiently asked as he is excited to see what is outside of the city. |
