| I finished the anime last week and I want to read the manga starting from where the anime leave off. Help! |
| If you finished the anime, then I'd recommend reading the manga from the beginning. This may seem a strange recommendation, but this is the best way to experience the remaining half of the story. This is because there were changes made in the anime when adapting it from the manga. For example, the entire story takes place over the course of one year in the anime, starting with Masato in his 2nd year of high school and Miyuki just joining Seika High. However, in the manga, the story begins during Masato's 1st year in High School, and Miyuki joins a Middle School(Shirakaba Girls) where her PE teacher is Nakada Torao. This means that by the time the manga reaches the point in the anime, they would have celebrated certain events like New Year's, Miyuki's birthday, etc. multiple times as compared to only once. The manga gives a slightly different perspective on the story by the way it handles certain character dynamics and events, plus it's a relatively short read(12 volumes covering 95 chapters). This is why I'd highly recommend starting the manga from the beginning. |
