| We have a list for the banned members in the members section of the café, but is is invisible for the normal members. Unless you mean the members who were banned and then appealed~ Usually, it is up to each member to keep track of their warnings, we sometimes give more warnings than needed in case the member didn't see one of two of the warnings. The idea of documenting the warnings/bans is nice, but I think it is too much work, and there are not much benefits from it in my opinion, but thank you for the suggestion. :D |

You guys probably can co-ordinate better with it but that's the only upside than actually going through all that updations on the table.. ._. It will also be like the Wall of shame or something of the cafe.. but that wouldn't be in sync with the cafe atmosphere I guess it would be pretty painstaking to keep up with it. That's true, when a member "repent" from a violation, it is better to forget about it and move on, other members shouldn't know about this if they did not do at the time of the violation, Thought of the day? It could be done on a separate thread (?) so it won't get mixed up with the original. If no one comes up within the time frame, then the next person on the list will get the chance to post. Also, we should always make sure that an admin moderate the thought before posting it. I think that could also be done in the other thread or by PM. So, nothing offensive will go through. Games and dares can also be prepared on special days or special occasions. Another thing is whoever gets to post their thought that day will act as the OP of the thread. So its not just like a CD topic where you just put something up and let people discuss. The person who post it should also discuss actively. Moderation should also be a bit lineal.. that is stop the person from posting the thought only if you believe it will be extremely offensive. |

The poster for the next day can also let people know if he wont be able to post it according to the specified GMT if he's at work or sleep at that time. Then he could let the current discussion go on until he gets the time to post it. It should also be made a point that there should be real discussion instead of just listing or only your thoughts on it.. like some of the question of the day threads. |

I think the list of the "Thought of the day" would be like this at the beginning:- - 27 March M_F_M Anyone else? @Mugi:- In my café, the rules are always there in the café page, so people see them all the time, the problem I am having is to make all the admins enforce the rules & tell me about violations, this seems to be getting resolved now~ |
