| Considering how this season flows, that seems about right. I don't see anything wrong with that except waiting for more Hayate might be hard. |

| I think they may be going by the fact JC Staff ussually follows the traditional 1-2 cour season. Add to that the fact they're following the manga timeline and it's pretty much a given that, since this ia an ongoing series, they have to either break the series into yearly seasons or make filler (like Synergy did). Of course, I haven't seen a sure-proof yet, just an educated guess. |

The DVD/Blu-Ray release schedule then lead to think that it would be a 26 episodes anime. Later, there was no word about the last listed volume of those releases being the final one so the episode count was set to unknown again. Now the people distributing the releases regard the final, 9th, volume as the final volume so we can be sure that this season will be 25 episodes long. The only thing that might change now is that the 25th episode will possibly be a DVD only episode. If that happens the episode count will be reduced to 24. |
