| Yo, after taking a ~3 months break from anime, I'm looking for an action anime starring a Boy/Girl (whatever their relationship is, friends, siblings, lovers...) strong duo. Some examples would be Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei or Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai. Machine-Doll wa Kizutsukanai isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Even tho they're really good, they still struggle defeating their opponents. I'm not looking for a "get stronger as it progress" kind of anime but more of a "fight stronger opponents as the anime progress." Instead of having the hero getting stronger, they have more trouble defeating whatever come at them. I haven't seen SAO, but it is apparently what I'm looking for, even tho the "trapped in a game" stuff isn't my thing at all. I have seen No Game No Life as well, definitely one of the best anime I have seen, the MCs were both good and charismatic, this is probably what I'm looking for the most, they never lose, even tho the result is predictable, how they win is pretty surprising. | I took a look through your list, and apart from SAO and Mahouka, I would recommend Black Bullet and Soul Eater. Both are centred around a male and female duo fighting together. Fighting/action is very much prevalent in both! Some that don't quite fit your description but i still feel are worth a shot are Romeo x Juliet and Seirei no Moribito. Both are centred around a male/female duo, however neither have huge mounts of action (though there is some). Merry Christmas! |
