| The forest finally broke and in front of them was the mountains they were looking for. As then entered April noticed a path she took it along the way was a small cave that they entered together "think this will be fine she broke down as the entered it she was panting with him ontop of her after she fell over |

| "ehhhh......April......." he blushed |
| "Get....off...of...me" she said was still panting from the run |

| "S-sorry" he slid off her onto his back |
| "hows your leg? can you stand on your own yet? do we need to change the bandages?" she said sitting up removing the bags from herself |
|
| "I dunno.....i havent checked" |
| she moved closer to him and started to look at his leg "it looks like the bleeding has stopped im gonna clean and change the wound make sure you stay still" she started to look through jacob's bag and got the bandages once more but didnt see anything she could use to clean his wound with. she checked her own bag and saw two water bottles she took both of them out, one she handed to him after taking a small drink "here drink some water you need to replenish some fluids" she said as she opened the other one and started to use the water to went a rag she had to wipe the old blood away, before putting a new bandage over the wound |

| He drank the water that she gave him savoring it |
| "there we go you should be good for a while now let me know if it starts bugging you" she said proping herself against the wall and attempting to calm herself down |
|
| "Okay i will....." he looked down still ashamed that she had to carry him |
| "i still cant believe they found us in that forest what was someone doing there in the first place" she sighed |
|
| "mmm....dont know...probably got lost on a patrol" |
| she put the flashlight down in between them facing the ceiling so they could have a little light "what are we gonna do now if we try to go through the mountains now we might not be able to make it but if we stay how will we survive?" |
|
| "...." he had no answer for her, none in the slightest |
| "Should we risk it? Going over the mountains?" She looked at him |
|
| he simply shrugged |
| "ugh well if your not going to help im just gonna lay here and think about it" she used her bag as a pillow and put her head down. she mumbled to herself for a little while before some silence, then came some snoring |
|
| "Sorry....April..." he rolled on his side and closed his eyes, trying to sleep |
| The morning came soon, April woke up and looked over to Jacob "are you awake?" |
|
| "Yeah...." he said quietly |
| "Lets move" she said in a stern voice |
|
| "Alright" he replies getting up with the assistance of a makeshift crutch |
| "Will you be able to walk long?" |
|
| "I can manage....." he said as he started to walk using the crutch |
| "I can carry you your not that heavy Jacob" she said looking at him |
|
| "No!!!" he exclaimed "Im not that weak that i need you to carry me like a child!!" he then continued to walk |
| "It's not about weak or strong anymore Jacob it's about surviving!" She yelled to him |
|
| He didnt reply but kept on walking ignoring her comment |
| "fine be stubborn, but the minute i see something bad i dont care what you say i will pick you up and start running" she said while walking behind him |
|
| He still didnt say anything, his pride was being ripped apart bit by bit |
| the kept walking down a snow beaten path, the wind cold and unforgiving blowing in their faces as they kept moving through the mountains. april was still behind him walking |
|
| Jacob was absolutely freezing as he trudged through the snowy path, still using the crutch to move but it was getting harder and more wearing as they continued |
| It soon got to the point to where April had passed Jacob up and kept walking "do you need to rest?" she asked him |
|
| "n-no.....i-i-im fine...." he was barely able to walk |
| "If you say so don't fall behind" she said continuing to walk but looking back every now and then |
|
| At one time April looked back Jacob couldnt go any longer and collapsed face down in the snow |
| When she noticed this "no crap I should have stayed behind him, Jacob! Where are you say something!" |
|
| He was completely passed out in the snow |
| "Jacob!" She kept yelling and even started to go back tracing her steps "where are you!" |
|
| That was when April tripped on Jacob |
| She looked down to the ground "Jacob!" She quickly picked him up and started carrying him "crap crap crap you'd better still be alive" she kept moving looking for anywhere they could take cover from the weather |
|
| Still completely knocked out a cave was up ahead. although it was lighted by lights |
| April saw the cave and looked around to see if anyone was near by, after a quick check she pulled out a pistol and entered the cave |
|
| Inside the cave was what looked like a bunker of sorts, the door wide open with blood everywhere |
| april decided to put jacob down before proceeding deeper into the cave. she kept walking pistol ready at any moment for a fight |
|
| In the Bunker were a bunch of dead people, 1 child, a woman and a man but another was sitting down facing away from April sharpening his Blade, his armor Was Helghast but he didnt have a helmet on |
| april aimed her gun at the man then said "turn around and dont try anything i have a gun pointed at you" |
|
| "Oh...there were more of you" he turned around slowly and stood up, half of his armor covered in blood, a grin on his face. he was easily 7ft tall |
| "who are you" she barked at the man but it was obvious to see she was intimated by his appearance |
|
| "Who am i?" he asks then points his blade at her "Who are you?" |
