Anime with fast moving plot (Gotta save the world)

I'm looking for anime with a fast moving plot focused on a main story arc. The end-game goal should be established in the first few episodes and the protagonists should be racing around the clock to accomplish it. Series should be less than 60 episodes; any more and it starts to drag out.

Love:
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood
Digimon Adventure
Inuyasha (Bit long but plot kept moving)

Don't like: (Too much filler)
DBZ (Ten episodes of screaming before anybody throws a punch)
Pokemon (Filler central. Protagonist's goals are generic as hell)
Case Closed (First two episodes started the main story arc. Next 100 episodes never mention it again)
One Piece (First episode set goal; next couple hundred hasn't reached it.)

Just to clear things out, you're looking for anime in which most of the stuff is revealed early in the show like Full Metal Alchemist? And then they set on "their journey" correct?

Yeah, I'm looking for something that explains the protagonist's motives early and he goes on a journey. He should stay on the path throughout the series and rarely detour for pointless filler.
