| "We're almost to the room." |
| "thanks again Natalie" |
| "Don't mention it, it's not to big of a deal." Reaching the room she lead him to the bed. |
| He climbed onto his bed and pulled himself under the sheets "still" |
| "Are you going to be okayon your own?" |
| "i should be.....ill call in the morning if i need help" he smiled |
| "I still think you shouldn't be left alone." |
| "if you want to stay, i wont stop you" |
| "Alright. I want to go check on the kids first to make sure they're okay then i'll come back." |
| "okay natalie, ill be right here" |
| "I'll be back soon." Natalie left the house and made her way back into her own |
| Logan remained in bed |
| Back in her own home she made her way through the house to the room where they were sleeping. Poking her head in through the door way she looked around |
| Arthur and Yui were fast asleep |
| Looks like they'll be alright Natalie closed the door and walked back through the house. Everything seemed to be in order. |
| Everything was quiet |
| Natalie walked back out of the house and walked into Logan's |
| "Natalie?" Logan asks |
| "Yea it's just me." she replied walking into the room |
| "how were the kids?" he asks turning to where he heard natalie speak |
| "They're all fast asleep." |
| "thats good" |
| "You should be sleeping too." |
| "i was waiting for you..to come back first" |
| "Well I'm here now so get some rest." Natalie sat down on the edge of the bed |
| "Okay thanks again Natalie" he said turning onto his back and closing his eyes |
| Natalie smiled as she leaned back on the headboard enjoying the quietness. |
| It didnt take long for Logan to fall into a deep sleep |
| Natalie yawned as she stared into the darkness. After awhile she slowly drifted off into sleep. |
| -the next morning- Logan slowly opened his eyes |
| Natalie was still asleep |
| Logan looked around the room, mostly everything was blurry "nat...alie?" he asks looking at the doorway as a figure stood their, but he couldnt see exactly due to how blurry it was |
| Still asleep Natalie shifted over slightly not hearing a thing. |
| "natalie...what time is it?...i can barely see....natalie?" the figure moved closer slowly |
| Natalie started to wake up slowly. "Did you say something?" |
| He looks to where natalie is then right back at the figure "wh......your not..natalie...who are you?" a small grunt came from the figure as it slowly entered the room, it didnt smell very alive |
| Natalie had yet to fully wake up. "What are you talking about?" She asked sleepily with her eyes still closed |
| "someone is...right there...and its..not one of us..." |
| Opening her eyes she looked around the room. |
| An infected had somehow made its way into the town and into Logans home "i-infected!" |
| "Why is there one here?" Natalie could feel her fear build up as it got closer |
| "i dont know....i can barely see it" It got a little closer |
| Natalie watched it as she reached out her hand behind her. She felt her way through the stuff she had set down on the stand before she had fallen asleep. |
| "its getting closer...." |
| Feeling her way around she felt the handle of one of her pistols. Grabbing it she pointed it at the infected and fired several shots |
| The Infected fell to the floor dead |
| Natalie looked away from the dead body and lowered her hand . |
| "Natalie....are you...okay?" |
| "Yea, i'll be fine...." |
| "y-you sure?...your okay right?" |
